The primary bedroom, second bedroom, and living room open up to a spacious balcony with outdoor seating. A309 is beautifully decorated and furnished comfortably. This retreat has been recently updated with a new paint job, all new furniture and matching lamps for all bedrooms, plenty of new led lighting, and new quartz countertops. The condo's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bakeware are provided to complete and serve meals. The dining area has a large table. This beautiful home offers a twin bunk area for extra accommodations. The open living room houses a TV and DVD player. There is a half bathroom located off of the main living area near the bunk room. The primary bedroom features a king bed, private bath with stand up shower, large walk-in closet, TV, and DVD player. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, private bath with stand up shower and tub, TV, and DVD player.

Beach service is included from March to October.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Loved it!

The condo was perfect for our family. My kids loved the Lily pads and lazy river. My husband and I loved that the beach chairs and umbrella were included and only steps away from our room. Wonderful week - we will be back!

Long weekend getaway

Our family of 4 stayed here for a couple of nights. It was clean with plenty of space. The bunk room was nice to give the kids their separate spaces. The balcony was shaded and had a small but decent view of the gulf. The kitchen appeared to be stocked well. Pool and beach access was very convenient from the condo. We enjoyed the lazy river and pool area. There was a very limited number of tubes for the lazy river, but we made do. The 2 reserved beach chairs were nice to have. We’d stay in this unit again!

First time at Fort Walton Beach

We loved all the pools, Especially the kiddie pool with the slide! We loved the fact that they were very child oriented! The beach access was very nice as well and having the outdoor showers were a nice bonus.

Nice Vacation Condo

This condo had a good location as far as getting to a staircase to go down to beach/pools! The balcony was nice (you could see the beach a bit) but because of the noise from the air conditioners at the hotel next door we weren’t really able to use it like we hoped.

The best!

You can’t beat Waterscape. We were so pleased with the condo and location and all the amenities offered with waterscape. This was probably the cleanest condo we’ve ever stayed in. It was spotless! We had more than enough space for our family of four. This unit is a far walk from the garage but SO close to the pool and beach. I personally prefer to be closer to the beach side. There are luggage carts for unpacking and packing up the vehicle so it’s not bad. And it’s an air conditioned hallway which is wonderful. It was super quiet in our condo. I never heard any neighbors above or beside us. We will 100% be back to stay here. We had the best week!

Spring break

Came here for spring break with our kids in late March. The weather didn’t cooperate very well, but we loved that the property was right on the ocean, and has so many pools and playgrounds for kids. One of the big three pools is heated, and there are two hot tubs (which they closed for some reason while we were there- that was frustrating, the one heated pool was a little bit mayhem). A lazy river and zero entry playground for the little ones. The room was spacious and nice for our family. Just wish some basic coffee filters and salt and pepper would have been in the room. Made for some tired mornings. We’d stay here again when it was warmer outside.

Rocky start

When we arrived our door would not lock. iterally even with dead bolt would not lock. The woman I spoke with was so rude. She asked me for my confirmation number I said maam I'm in the condo. i'm literally in it just send someone immediately. What if my phone was dead or I had deleted the conf #? Would my children have had to sleep in an unlocked condo until the morning. All they wanted to do was get in the pool and we couldn't go. Could not leave our belongings in an unlocked condo. Then she told me I could hang up and wait for a dirrerent representative! We were then "ding dong ditched" by a group of teenagers a few minutes after this part of experience. Condo is nice barely a view of the beach. Hottubs were filthy. Only reason for 3 stars is the crew of guys on the beach and the man who came to fix the door were nice. Lady at front desk had personaility of a dead moth

Great place but the booking process could be better

The facility as a whole was great i have no complaints at all about that and would consider going back. My biggest complains was the booking and checking in process. I called the number listed on the website and had booked the room, not 5 minutes after I hang up the phone I receive a call from Vacasa letting me know there was a verification email that I need to complete. So I follow the link and the only thing it asks is my date of birth, I'm unsure why they couldn't have gotten that during the original phone call since she did ask my age and I replied 22 (we will jump back to the age thing in a second) after completing the "verification" after that I received the confirmation email, then an email that talked about the check-in process (kinda), then an email with the gate code and code for the door and other arrival instructions on it, then later on that evening I received another email stating I need to go down to the front desk the next morning and complete the check-in. Once I go down there to complete the check-in and request the 2nd parking pass we were supposed to have with the room the receptionist working at the front desk asks me to fill out a small peice of paper requesting the room number, names of people staying older than 25 and people staying under 25, once I fill out the paperwork and state all 5 guest are 21 and older but not 25 I was then notified by the receptionist "you must have at least 1 guest 25 years or older staying in the room but since we had already been there the first night they would let us stay until the end of our booked period". Thank you for sticking around until the end of this review I know it was definitely a long one but I wanted to give the next person a head up on what to expect.

Great place to stay in Ft. Walton, FL

Overall, we had a great stay at waterscape in Ft. Walton, FL. We stayed in A309 which was very clean minus the red sauce that covered the door handle leading to the balcony of our room. While that was gross, it wouldn't keep us from staying there again. The room was equipped with all the dishes, silverware, cookware, and appliances we could possibly need. Blender, coffee maker, they had it all. The room was also equipped with all the extras of dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels, bathroom soaps, etc. The pools were wonderful. The lazy river was a slight disappointment due to the current not being strong enough to move us around the river, which included our small 8 year old. We basically had to walk around in the river to get anywhere. The tiki hut on the pool deck was a great place to get a drink (both adult beverages and non alcoholic) and food if we didn't want to go back to our room for a meal. The pool deck had several lounge chairs but not quite enough for everyone who stayed there which was a bummer. The beach was a short walk which was nice along with the complimentary umbrella and 2 beach chairs. More could be purchased if needed. There are only 2 issues we could find for waterscape/Vacasa as a whole. Unlike hotels, there were ice machines for complimentary ice. There was one that was like a vending machine where we could purchase ice, however it wasn't working properly the entire week we stayed there. Also, there was an issue with the smoke alarms in our room and throughout the halls of our entire floor. Thankfully, it was a false alarm due to a maintenance malfunction. This was at 2am. However, it was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone to have the issue fixed. We finally got a hold of a lady who was very kind but of little help. There wasn't a button on this particular smoke alarm to silence it. It could only be done with removing the outer shell via screwdriver (thankfully my husband had one on his pocket knife) to remove it and silence the alarms in our room which the issue was still in the halls. We understand these things happen but no one could assure us that someone was on-site fixing the issue. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. However, there needs to be better access to get ahold of someone if a maintenance issue should occur in the future.

Enjoyed our Stay but...

The condo was very clean when we arrived and was stocked with everything we needed for our stay including towels, dishes, pots and pans etc. The Vacasa staff was super nice and helpful. My only complaints I could list would be this particular condo isn't furnished as nice as alot of the other units and I was a little surprised there wasn't a smart TV available to stream services on (even if I logged into my own) That would make a huge difference. Next time we stay here I'll probably avoid this unit just for that reason alone. The only other negative I could list would be the master bedroom mattress was very firm. I know its a personal preference and some will like that but I personally would like something more soft or neutral. My wife couldn't even sleep on it and she slept in the 2nd bedroom. The building itself is in a great location with good views of some of the best beaches in Florida and tons of things to do in the area. The pool area and lazy river were great. I would definitely use Vacasa again and even the wayerscapes condos, though we'll probably avoid the particular unit that we stayed in this time.

Excellent location on the beach! Great place to stay and lots of pools for the kids.

Great Family Vacation

Waterscape is perfect for families with children. Our toddler loved the splash pad and the chairs and umbrella at the beach each day was a major plus. This condo was well stocked with essentials for cooking and everything was clean and well maintained. The only negative of this unit is the king mattress. I understand that a firm mattress might be the preference of the owner but it was not comfortable for us. I would suggest maybe putting a mattress topper on that would add comfort for anyone that doesn't want to sleep on something so solid. Other than that, we loved our stay and will definitely return to Waterscape next year.

Perfect family getaway

Room was clean and had everything we needed for the holiday weekend. Staff was courteous and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Can’t beat the location on the water!
