Great location and experience

Perfect Place with Great Ocean View

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony whenever we could. Having the chair and umbrella service was one of the reasons I would totally recommend staying here. No lugging all the beach stuff around. We would definitely stay again.

White Sand Beach

The apartment was very clean. Loved the location directly on the beach. Our unit had a balcony facing the sun and the sand. Lovely!

the only downside

The place and the location were perfect! very near to Destin too. The stars and the sound of the waves at night was very relaxing! its the kind of therapy i was looking from stressful city life, but was very frustrated too coz other people makes the balcony the smoking area. instead if enjoying moment you cannot stay longer outside

Great View of the Gulf

The ocean is literally right there when you open the back sliding door to the deck. Great Condo!!!

GREAT

Very clean and fresh, great view from the balcony from the 6th floor. Office check in and out was quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful . We have been staying at the Islander for more than 10 years .

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing few days at this property. It was super clean and the view from the balcony was amazing. Everything we needed to cook and have breakfast sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. Loved it. Highly recommend. Check in and out was easy and stress free.

Wonderful unit and location.

This unit was wonderful. It was very close and easy access to the beach. The complimentary umbrella and beach chairs was an amazing bonus. The view from the balcony was perfect. The location on Okaloosa Island was also perfect. We would live to stay at this unit again.

Great view

We loved the condo itself, nicely decorated and great view! It had a heated pool which was very nice! The only complaint we had is when the temperature outside would drop the heat in the condo would kick on and we would not have any control over that and then it would be too warm for us inside the condo in the mornings!!!

Great adventure

Just perfect for a 2 person getaway. We came from Washington state. The view is amazing. Everyone is super friendly. Room was clean.

Amazing getaway

Love this place! Cute, cozy and quiet. I will be staying here next Spring as well. The bed was very comfortable. The updates look great, I love the teal subway tile and beautiful flooring :) Until my visit! Bless you Shantel

The view!

What a great unit, the view alone sells it but it is decorated nicely. The bed was super comfortable, could have laid in bed all day. Kitchen well equipped with what needed. Good location in the area.

Good Lay Out

Unit was a studio. It was laid out perfect. Kitchen separate so could eat while others slept. Hot water quickly in shower. Loved our balcony and the chairs.

Nice room

This was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I for the week. The room is nice and decorated very cute. The only thing we disliked was the rooms air conditioner is a boiler system so if it gets below 72° outside it starts blowing out hot air. We had to turn the air off before bed or it would be 88° when we woke up. Other than that, our stay was great!!

No air conditioning

No working air conditioning. This should have been listed on the website and disclosed a head of time. We had to leave the balcony door open at all times to get cooler air otherwise it was 79-80 degrees in the room. This was in February! I can’t imagine summer. I contacted the owner who referred me to the management company. Property manager stated there is nothing they can do and recommended to use the small fan in closet and keep curtains closed at all times to cool down the room (you don’t stay on the ocean to close the curtains nor be uncomfortable due to the temperatures. When I looked at reviews online of this building/unit there were the same complaints about no air so it is a known fact and something not disclosed. This was disappointing because the room was fine besides that.

Very Disappointing

Positive: unit was tastefully decorated inside. Towels were nice, bed was comfortable, water was hot, TV worked. First of all, we spent over an hour in the rain searching for our unit. There is an East and West side. The main entrance is the East side. Our unit was on the West side and access was very obscure. Directions on how to access unit were not specific. We were drenched and exhausted from carting luggage from one side to the other, and this was after we called Vacasa to ask for help. The operator stated that she didn’t know anything about the property but would have the local property manager call which they did not until the next morning via text!!!!! The complex is also going through renovations so it smelled of harsh chemicals which permeated the entire building causing a lot of breathing challenges. In addition, the breezeways were dirty. Scaffolding was placed outside of our unit, so there were men going up and down passed our unit one of the days which was intrusive to our privacy. Unit was very warm. Hard to cool down so with the fumes it made it very difficult. Kitchen was outdated. No Ice maker and the dishwasher looked like it was coming out of the wall. Bathroom was missing lightbulbs. We will not be back. It’s the little things that make all of the difference. We asked for help and they didn’t even seem to care! Just beware if you plan to stay here!
