Property looked just as described. The pictures don’t do justice as to how beautiful the view is. Plenty of blankets and towels. The resort itself is fairly quiet. It’s nice having the 2 restaurants on site when you don’t feel like venturing out for dinner. The beach area is small and it’s quite a hike to get there but there are golf carts you can call to take you to and from to make it easier. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Beautiful Property - Actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. Amazing View, Staff, Restaurant on site. You can call for the Golf Cart to come pick you up from your room and take you to the private beach shared with the new One Hotel

Beautiful location with beautiful views. Comfy bed and overall a really fun place to stay. The condo has beach chairs, cooler, beach items such toys and snorkel gear. Be aware the condo is far from parking lot and parking can be difficult at night. It is very hilly. But you can call for help at front desk and they will help you with a golf cart if needed. We used this service when coming back from the beach and for getting our luggage out on day of checkout. My only con for this was the condo was just not very clean. It was dusty, hair in bathroom drawer from previous visitors, and we did see some roaches in the kitchen ( which I know is an issue in Hawaii). But overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay was perfect! Photos do not do it justice. The views from balcony were INSANE especially at sunset. Stop looking and book this place/ unit!!HBR overall was amazing resort, great location and amenities and shared beach with 1 Hanalei was very nice. Resort has a ton of golf carts ready if you do not want to walk the hilly property Cannot wait to come back!!

HBR is the perfect location in Hanalei. Beware there are a lot of hills on property and requires a decent amount of walking.

The view was exceptional! This place was inviting, very spacious, and had everything we could have needed for beach, kitchen, laundry, toiletries, etc. The host was easily available and left a nice little welcome box of goodies that we enjoyed! The beds and furniture were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for cool mornings on the lanai. HBR is amazing- good onsite restaurants, walk to a great beach and 1Hotel, plus golf carts that will take you anywhere. Definitely recommend and would be back!

The unit was nice and spacious. The view was spectacular. The only thing needing attention was the dusting and floors. We loved the property and management was amazing!

The stay exceeded our expectations! The property is so lovely and tranquil! The condo was perfect for us and so spacious. The view and amenities were breathtaking. Would highly recommended.

Vacation during Hurricane Lowell

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort was impacted by the hurricane. Upon arrival, we felt that there was a bit of a musty smell in the condo and there was a fair amount of sand in the entry closet where beach equipment was stored. There was not a way to fully close the louvered blinds at the front door and one was missing so I stuffed a towel into the space. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with dishes and pots but there were very few extras like spices or cooking spray etc. The condo was much further away from the ocean than we expected. It was quite a hike down a big hill. It was also a long hike to the parking lot. Golf cart service was available but we generally didn’t want to wait. The bed was very comfortable and the other furniture was sufficient for us. The staff at the condo were very friendly and helpful. The pools and the grounds were beautiful. We loved the beach as there was a huge tree that offered large amounts of shade. The staff of vacation Realty were responsive to issues in the condo but completely unresponsive to some of our questions regarding the hurricane effects and checkout.

The condo was absolutely perfect. Very clean, spacious, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. All the amenities you could need for a stay, and the view was hands-down the best feature. This is our fourth time on the island and by far one of our favorite stays.Will definitely come back and stay here again.
