My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and roomy for us all. The only downside we experienced was our neighbors kind of took over the parking. They had 4 cars and 3 golf carts, loud partying very well past the required quiet hours of 10pm they even began an argument with another neighbor because they were asked to keep it down instead they got louder. While they partied at the pool all night. The next day when my kids went out to swim that party left all their trash behind. Other than having to deal with that we had a positive experience and would book again.

The house is just a few blocks from the beach, so use a car or a golf cart. The house has two parking spots, but you can easily park a third car blocking the other two and comply with the Port Aransas rules of no parking on streets. The first floor is open floor plan and very spacious. Well equipped kitchen although the pans are old and stick, so we got our own pans.The master bedroom with its full bathroom is in the first floor and there is a half-bath for the social area under the stairs. The TV has Internet and Direct TV, so we were able to see the FIFA games (this was very important to us).The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The washer and dryer are also upstairs.All rooms spacious, comfortable beds.There is an external shower and a hose outside that you can use to rinse out the sand.The pool is OK, shared with all the houses in the development (I believe there are 6), the pool furniture is sturdy.Port A Beach (managing company for the rental) arranged a voucher for us to rent beach gear, which was great because that way we did not pack beach chairs or a cooler.There were only a couple of little things, like the grill was not cleaned when we arrived, plug strip in kitchen loose, one of the bathrooms did not have the liquid soap to wash hands, etc. Minor things that we reported immediately as per their instructions do they don't charge us for it.We were 10, and were comfortable in the house. Plenty of space for all.

Annual Port A Trip

We love Station Street cottages! The location, convenience, cleanliness is always perfect for our group. We visit Port A every year and staying at the Cottages always feels like going “home”.

Family vacation

The home was fully equipped for all of our needs. Really clean, and made this vacation AMAZING! The beach this year was full of jelly fish and the pool at the house saved our vacation!

Perfect Beach Getaway! 5 Star Review

We’ve been coming to this area for our annual beach trip for years, and this was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and absolutely perfect for our group. Communication with the host was amazing, responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from start to finish.The private pool was a huge highlight, so refreshing after long days at the beach. The location couldn’t be better; walking distance to the beach, local restaurants, and shopping. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips.Already looking forward to booking again for next year. Highly recommend this property!

Inside of the place is filthy, sink faucet broken, upstairs toilet broken, pool water overflowing on grounds and into neighbors yards. Pool was dirty.

We’re very sorry to hear about these issues during your stay. This is not the standard we hold our properties to, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We truly appreciate you sharing your feedback about the home’s cleanliness upon arrival. While not ideal, we did offer to send housekeeping back to sweep and mop, though we understand this offer was declined. It’s important to note that the sink faucet wasn’t broken, the hose had simply become kinked inside and needed a quick adjustment. Also, once you notified us regarding the community pool and community pool area, we did immediately inform the HOA, as they manage that portion. All items have since been addressed so future guests can enjoy a comfortable and seamless stay.

The house was an awesome experience. There is just one little thing the tv needs to have a guide how to turn it on. The rest of the experience was great. Beautiful house!

Good location

Let me start on a positive note, the house is well equipped, plenty of seating! The first half of the week the neighbors were considerate and fun. Thursday the people that came took our parking space we had to ask them to move, brought a speaker and played loud inappropriate music, stayed in the pool being loud until 4:00am. I didn’t think dogs were allowed. There were 3 in the units?? The shower upstairs was moldy and mildewed we spent 2 days trying to get it off, got most of it off. The electric bar under one of the cabinets was hanging by wires, maintenance came and attempted to snap it back on, we never used it as we had concerns. There was no broom or anything to sweep floors, we asked maintenance for a broom they brought one and some mold and mildew remover for us to use. The bathroom carpet was disgusting, so we washed it ourselves. The rugs have stains on all of them, the stairs had hair and dirt all over. When you opened the cabinet it had a strong musty odor... maybe some damp rid in a back corner would help. There are no cake pans or a crock pot.. thankfully I brought my own. The location is great a short drive to the beach, and very convenient to shopping, grocery and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay once we cleaned! Sheets on beds are rough but I had some with me so we just put them over the sandpaper, the mattresses were comfortable. If this is your first time to stay at a VRBO place you would love it, because you might not realize there are so many others that are very very clean! I tried calling and emailing the weekend before our arrival as the hurricane went through on Saturday, we arrived on Monday. I called a friend in Corpus that said Port A was ok!

The property was very clean upon arrival. I noticed the spaciousness of the area and just the overall comfort and welcoming feeling it gave. Kitchen was well stock with needed cooking equipment and trash bags. If there is any downside I could give, it would be the parking availability, however there were options like the public parking. The property was close to everything, including the beach.

Two flaws -- for a house that can sleep 12 people, having 2 showers is difficult to manage. The parking situation is terrible. You need to find a way to expand it. Once you have golf carts + cars, there is no where to park

All went well

Layout was great for a group of 7, ages 17 to 80. Mattresses were were extremely comfortable! It was very clean and I appreciated heads up on extra things to bring. Suggest u have instructions on the downstairs shower and it has regular coffee pot not a keurig. We will recommend to our friends.

Beach bummer

The house is way smaller than it appears in the posted pictures. The property manager is basically unreachable and when you finally get a call back he treats you like you are stupid. Upper bunk sheets were dirty. The walls were dirty. The throw pillows on the bed were stained and stunk. The house was decorated well and it has a very functional layout but the parking and the outside pool area are a mess. The homes need to be power washed and dead trees need to be removed.

Beautiful, spacious home

After a day on the beach coming back to this house was great. Plenty of room for everyone to relax. Kitchen was very spacious. From the kiddos bunk room to the master bedroom you could tell they spared no expense to provide a quality stay. I would have given it a 5 star Overall Review except like most VRBO accessing and operating the television, stereo and cable is frustrating. I would highly recommend step by step instructions. I would also add that the staff was very professional, responsive and offered suggestions to help us quickly get acclimated to the community.

Beautiful but had issues

Overall very nice property but we had a few issues. The futon upstairs was completely broken and unusable and only 2 of the 5 TV's worked. The TV/Sound setup was over complicated. Everything was clean and the house is very nice.

Super fun!

It was super super fun! Everything worked perfectly. We did run out of toilet paper there were only 3 rolls in the whole house. Other than that everything was great!
