Prepare delicious meals and breakfasts in the well-equipped kitchenette–you can later enjoy them outdoors in the small, dining area in the patio. Back inside, the wall-mounted TV is the perfect entertainment option; you'll be able to stream your favorite shows using your own Netflix or Hulu account.

This lovely retreat is conveniently located in the heart of Wiscasset and a short walk away from Sheepscot River. Dining options abound if you feel like treating yourself and your partner to delicious meals. If you love nature, Wiscasset is exactly the place for you. The West Woods and Morris Farm trail will lead you through 200 acres of land, over streams and bridges, and through the Sortwell Memorial Forest and Morris Farm. The Water Trail is a trail down the Back River that is best enjoyed in a kayak or canoe. A must-visit historic home built in 1807 is the Nickels-Sortwell House, which happens to be only one block away from you.

This place was very clean, communication was great as well as location to exploring Boothbay Harbor, Ocean Point walk and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens! The guy that lives upstairs was SO friendly and fun to talk to- he gave us lots of ideas of things to do and places to eat in the area! A bonus! We did also appreciate the individually wrapped kitchen sponges and soap!

Great location for a visit to Wiscasset

Perfect location for walking to much of what the beautiful town of Wiscasset has to offer. Dedicated parking space was right next to the unit. A small kitchenette had everything we needed for our short visit. Bed was comfortable. Outdoor seating areas were nice and had a water view.

Great location

Comfortable and clean. Great location for exploring the area. Easy off street parking. Good wifi if you need it. Walking distance to restaurants. Outdoor grill. The kitchen was stocked with the necessities.

Cute spot, great location!

We were only able to stay for two nights, but wish our stay couldve been longer! We wouldve loved to explore more of the area! Beautiful and quaint!

Quant and cozy

Perfect spot and perfect size for my husband and I to stay to help with my son's wedding. Close to everything downtown and only 2 miles from wedding venue. No noise even though there was another place above us. Had induction cooktop whic was easy to use to cook breakfast. Ample size bathroom, bed was comfy. It had a small fan but recommend an AC unit for those sunny hot days. It's Oct so to be fair, they may have had one and taken it out. But it was very humid for this time of year and had to leave the door open at night with no screen.. These were the cleanliness issues, mold on the bottom of the plastic shower curtain. I move the night stand to use for the fan and it was full of cobwebs and we did the dishes and found the drying mat under the sink was either moldy or dirty. The only other issue was the coffee maker did not work right on the 3rd morning. But these things would not deter me from renting again, but may affect others so want to let the owners know, so they can be attended to for the next guests.

Perfect Place

The check-in was easy. The place was spotless. The bed was comfortable. You can see the river from the patio and walk to shops and restaurants. Even though it is only few hundred feet off of Rt. 1, it was very quiet.

Very Basic

Pluses. Location was great not only to explore a quaint little town but to drive up and down the coast. Plenty of food choices nearby. Minuses. Insufficient bed linens and towels for a 10 day stay. We had to go to the laundromat midweek. The lock on the front door has a mind of its own. Sometimes you had to put the code in multiple times before it responded. Not a happy experience at 12:30 am when you have been on the road since 5 am the day before. Don’t plan on cooking a full meal here but if you are heating up restaurant leftovers like we did, there is a nice microwave and oven/air fryer combo. Mama was not a happy camper to discover there was a coffee maker and filters but NO COFFEE when awakening after a day of marathon travel. Had to go to the store and buy a bag of coffee. Furniture is cute but wicker and not made for large people. Might want to consider at least one chair that doesn’t creak when a large person sits in it. Except for the above, it was clean and adequate. Definitely no frills.

Nice place but some improvement needed

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. On first arrival, I noticed a dirty towel left hanging on the shower curtain. This could have easily been missed by the cleaning staff and wasn't a big deal to me. The little problems didn't end there. The door to the bathroom didn't fully close, the light in the bathroom flickers, and the shower seemed to have a seal leak on the bottom. We overall had a great time but wish these things had been fixed before we arrived. Very cute and convenient place to stay!

The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside for morning coffee and looking at the water. The location was great. The only upgrade we would like to see is a pot large enough to cook lobsters! We'll go back anytime we get the chance.

Travelers with limited mobility will have difficulty negotiating the petite bathroom. Must climb up, at least 6 inches or more, to get in and out of the shower without grab bars. Commode is low. Remaining studio is an open plan. Kitchenette is well done and adequately stocked.

Comfort in a Tight Space

Beautiful stay in maine!!!!!

Everything the place was very clean and neat and organized, cute place good view if the water. Close to downtown for walking purposes, very impressed overall. Thank you so much for this fantastic opportunity to stay in your beautiful home.

Studio très bien situé dans Wiscasset

Nous avons été beaucoup surpris par la ville de Wiscasset et le studio est situé en plain cœur de la ville à quelques minutes de marche de tout les attractions. Très bon restaurants et magasin. Ce qui nous a déranger par contre c'est le niveau de propreté de l'appartement. Il y avait de la poussière partout et des araignées avec leur toiles dans plusieurs coins.

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed the location of Wiscasset very much. We traveled as south as Portland and as north as Belfast and all over in-between. The room was just as pictured on the website. The parking was four feet from our door. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen met all our needs. I would stay here again. Anything need improving----Yes----the shower curtain had heavy mold on the bottom of it. Allowing one towel/wash cloth per person for a five night stay is not enough. Bring your own Kleenex. There is none in the room. Overall for the price it is a good deal.

Nice place in a quiet village

The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk over and get lobster and clams at Sprague’s which was excellent! (The line was always too long at Red’s Eats.) Our only complaint was that the internet connection was flakey.

Perfect spot for me!

My mom lives in Wiscasset, but has pets, so I can’t stay with her. This was perfect! It was close enough to her, but I had a bit of my own space and privacy. I loved having a full-sized fridge, microwave and toaster. I was able to save money by eating there most mornings and some dinners. The kitchen had a lot more than I expected! I will definitely use this rental again when I visit!
