Very private villa located just 4 miles from downtown La Fortuna, perfect for discovering the beautiful landscapes and attractions of the Arenal Volcano area. The property features 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, A/C in each bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, high‑speed WiFi (200 Mbps), Smart TVs, BBQ area, green spaces, gardens, and a private pool. This gated villa offers a peaceful, secure setting—far enough to relax, yet close to all major attractions in La Fortuna/Arenal.

The property is close to La Fortuna downtown, very private and quiet. Relax by the pool with a glass of wine or just a beer listening your favorite music, reading a book or just having a nice time with your love ones.

If you want to walk around just 15 minutes walk you will get to La Fortuna river where you can plan a picnic, swim in the river and even try some fishing, you will see plenty of fishes in the water.

We loved the outdoor pool and cooking area. We enjoyed the privacy of being outside of town but still close enough to all activities. The management property was very responsive and we booked a few different activities through them. Overall, we loved our stay here.

Amazing property, spacious accommodations with a secluded vibe. 15 minute walk to Playa Negra and a cute mini market. The plunge pool was fantastic to cool off on hot Caribbean days! Lots of outdoor seating on a large deck. Check in was super easy. Automatic gate around plenty of parking.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Fortuna! The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful and the house is well taken care of and comfortable. The pool and deck were our favorite spots to watch the monkeys, toucans and macaws. The neighbor’s adorable pig joined us on walks down the path outside our villa. The location is a very remote part of town, so be sure to have transportation worked out. We loved every minute!

My husband and I had a wonderful time with friends and our daughter during our stay at Villa Tropical! Our hosts were easy to reach and accommodating even during a power outage that affected the area. The house was clean and cozy and the gardens and pool were amazing! We couldn't get enough of the beautiful birds flitting in and out, enjoying the gorgeous flowers and watching the monkeys from the front yard. Thank you for a perfect refuge!!

The pool area was very nice. The fact that the 3rd bathroom is separate from house should be more obvious in property description. Kitchen would be better with hot water and lighting over the sink. Hooks behind doors would help with lack of space for belongings.

The house was great and we would love to go back! We liked that it wasn't directly in La Fortuna, but was only a short drive to everything. The backyard was stunning and the host was very communicative. We booked horseback riding, ziplining and the mistico hanging bridges through him directly. It was very convenient!

We would give this listing more than 5 stars. Although this home is outside of La Fortuna, the drive is short. The pool and yard are awesome. My son and his girlfriend work in conservation fields and added 30 new birds to their life lists simply birding from this yard and my husband said that birding from the pool was his new favorite thing. The “extra” outside bathroom was great. We were a group of six adults and felt comfortable and safe staying here. The communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here. Note: We had to use Uber one evening and it was quick and easy to this location.

Great house and location

Loved our stay. Close to town but not right in it so got to enjoy being in nature with monkeys playing in the tree across the street. The pool was great and house had everything we needed.

Perfect location for Family stay in La Fortuna

Had an amazing time here. Kids loved the pool. Back patio was amazing. The place is super clean and the most comfy sheets in all the places we stayed in Costa Rica. Outdoor bathroom and outdoor shower was awesome. Can't say anything bad about this place. My family of 6 loved it.

We had a great time staying here. The pool is amazing and everything in the house was very clean. We felt safe and enjoyed how close we were to town. The kids ages 6 and 4 had a blast.

Perfect Size

Loved the house and yard, plenty of space and all the necessities for our family of 4. The doors were a little difficult with the double-locking gates, but that was our only trouble.
