Expansive indoor and outdoor spaces allow for your group to spread out amongst 3 separate homes. Summer activities on our property include :hiking, horse shoe pit, swimming in our spring fed/man made pond with beach, fishing in the fishing pond, or relaxing in a shady spot. During winter enjoy snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Year round you can enjoy the large hot tub, steam shower, 4 person sauna, Gym, and relaxing around the fire pit. Bring your clothes, your food, and toiletries- we've got the rest!

Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, we cannot host weddings.

The Main house great room offers a Pool Table, Fireplace, Shuffle Board, Poker Table, board games, and kids games. Plenty to do with large groups. Multiple HD smart TV offers streaming and cable tv to enjoy movies nights and sporting events. Extensive Sonos music system throughout the main house to set the mood. 9 Bedrooms across 3 separate buildings along with a large swimming pond and separate fishing pond round off a beautiful setting. A 45 foot patio with awning for summer entertaining is off the great room of the main house. Two Gas Grills and large rustic fire pit make for enjoyable summer evenings. Large Hot Tub with mountain view. Just 4 minutes from Londonderry and several excellent restaurants. Located on a beautiful dirt country road and only 20 minutes from downtown Manchester, VT which offers great shopping and dining. Winter or Summer, you won't find a more beautiful setting in Southern Vermont!
Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and are fully equipped with pots, pans, kitchen tools and serving dishes. Plenty of space to prepare meals for large groups. There is a large dining room in the main house that accommodates 12, expandable to 20 + diners. There is an additional dining area in the cottage house. Most bathrooms include hair dryers and each home has an iron/ironing board. There is a weather camera facing the woods on the side of the main house. The rustic cabin near the swimming pond is not included in the rental due to insurance restrictions.

Great property

Everything was comfortable and clean. The house is very well stocked. We enjoyed all the amenities including the swimming pond, game room, weight room, hot tub, and fire pit. Perfect for a family reunion. The range of things to do on the property allowed us the flexibility only to venture out when we wanted to and relax on the property most of the time. The kids loved hunting frogs. The gardens were like what you’d find at a botanical garden. The flowers make everything smell wonderful. The town is quaint and remote.

50th Wedding Anniversary

The property is so beautiful! Our family had a great vacation. Family came from around the country to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a total of 21 people, which included 9 kids and 12 adults from 3 to 78 years. There was plenty of space for people to have privacy and also for gathering together as a large group. The great room was wonderful, with the pool table, shuffleboard, game table and incredible player piano. One of our favorite places was the fire pit. The house was super well-equipped, both in the kitchen and beyond. Every drawer and cabinet throughout the three houses revealed another tool, game, or treasure to enjoy. There was a problem with the Wi-Fi and Andrew was very responsive, coming back several times to make sure it was working properly. All in all, everyone had the best time at Moose Hollow. Thank you Joe for sharing your amazing place with us.

Amazing family vaca in VT!

We had an awesome time at this beautiful Vermont complex in Londonderry! It was a perfect fit for the whole family- had my mom with all of her adult children, her grandchildren, and adult nieces & their families all come together for vacation. The property was perfect to accommodate 17 people, 7 of which were children. The kids and adults all had a wonderful time. The property was extremely well kept, and pristine. The gardens were the most beautiful I’ve seen at a VRBO. The owner, Joe and property manager, Andrew were extremely responsive and very helpful during our stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this for a large family getaway or gathering!

Idyllic Vermont

Our family of 17 people (all adults) gathered from across the country here for our annual family vacation. We all agreed that after more than 20 years of vacationing, this was by far our favorite property. We enjoyed fishing in the pond, swimming in an adjacent pond, picking berries and lettuces from the garden, playing numerous games in the game room, hiking down to the river and up into the Green Mountains, playing croquet on the expansive lawn and just hanging out in the beautifully furnished homes. There was a good mix of double and twin beds that fit our needs perfectly. We were sad the week drew to a close so quickly!

Fantastic Getaway

We had the most wonderful time in Londonderry. The property is stunning, country charm with high end amenities, a perfect blend of Vermont style and luxurious, comfortable homes. The multi-building property was perfect for our long weekend with friends, folks had their own spaces to relax and could gather in the Great Room and around the large, welcoming dinner table for meals. We look forward to another stay here in warmer weather when we can enjoy more of the property, including the swimming pond! Thank you for providing a beautiful spot for our memorable weekend.

The pictures do not give it justice, it is a fabulous house!

It is a beautiful property. We were there during the snowy winter, and it was a winter wonderland. The house is much nicer than in the photos, very clean and quality appliances/decor. The cottage house is super cute and perfect for others that need some privacy from the main house. The beds and linen were clean and comfy. Both the hot tub and sauna were working and perfect after a full day of skiing. It was a great rental experience, highly recommend.

The gift that keeps on giving

Everything about this property is as we remembered it - and FANTASTIC! Our group ranged in age from 3 weeks old to 75 and filled every room in each of the three houses. Andrew, the property manager, was as responsive as he's been in the past. He went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Can't wait for Summer 2024!

Wonderful Property

We were a group of 14 adults, 5 children and 1 infant. There was space for people to have privacy and best of all space for the group to gather together. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked,the dining room table had room for all the adults to eat together. We enjoyed vegetables from the garden and the kids were thrilled to find a welcome basket with s'more fixings. We spent mornings on the side porch and evenings in the great room. The property is even more lovely than the pictures. This is the perfect property for a group. Joe is a great host he was quick to respond to my questions and give recommendations about grocery shopping and restaurants. Wonderful experience.

Amazing retreat

I can't imagine a better place for four families to gather for a long weekend. Despite the lack of snow, we braved the trails at Bromley twice because it was such an easy/quick trip to the mountain and back. On the third day, once everyone had had enough of skiing on ice and dirt, we opted for a "game day" and made the most of the beautiful grounds and all of the games and activities available in the house--including the sparkling clean hot tub with its gorgeous view of the property and Bromley mountain. We enjoyed cooking dinner each night in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and then spending time in front of the fire in the great room. There was plenty of room for our group of 16, with the added bonus of lots of privacy due to the thoughtful bedroom layout across the various buildings. It was a luxury to have a second kitchen and laundry room in the cottage house, and we made use of both. The icing on the cake was the wonderful hospitality of Joe, the owner, and Andrew, the property manager, who met us upon arrival to walk us through everything and even replaced a few lightbulbs on the spot! We're very much looking forward to our next opportunity to return to this lovely property.

Another Great Stay

This is the second year in a row we've stayed here and it was awesome. Our first year it really felt like home and worked out great for our large group, and this year was even better. We'll definitely continue the tradition next year. We went with 4 families with between 2-3 kids each. Having separate houses worked out great for everyone. The place is super charming and convenient location to Stratton/Bromley/Magic Mt, and also to some good restaurants and beer stores. The owner and caretaker are incredibly responsive and are very nice, they really provide terrific service. We couldn't recommend it more!

Really Fantastic!

The property, the houses, and the responsiveness of the caretaker, Andrew, exceeded all expectations. Honestly, the whole package couldn't have been better! The kitchen is supremely appointed, the linens are fresh and beautiful, the living spaces are updated and clean, the natural light in the homes is amazing, and the property is vast. Andrew also went out of his way to be helpful and responded quickly to each request; Joe checked in mid-week just to make sure everything was going well. I highly recommend this property.

Family Gathering

A lovely setting with space both inside and outside that were appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay and appreciated Andrew’s attention to our requests. It may be helpful to add/upgrade lighting in both the dining room and large great room. We will consider returning next year!

Amazing property

We rented this property for a week for a summer family(18 people) reunion. It was an amazing place to stay and perfect for a large group. There was something for everyone and the house and grounds were beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it so much they started talking about the next time they could return.

Improved and even more comfortable!

This property has changed ownership. Joseph, the new owner (with the help of the previous and very experienced property manager) made several improvements that made our stay even more comfortable. This home is a gem- We’ll be back next year for sure!

More than pictures can show

Amazing location, combined with an incredible home. So much to do or not do. Must relaxing and fun vacation for the 13 of us. Home is so interesting and inviting. Every room and building is unique, well kept, decorated to make you feel at home. The yard, ponds, fire pit, hot tub along with outdoor activities made this a hidden gem. A rainy day only brings you into a indoor fun house! Can’t wait to be back.

The photos and description appeared too good to be true; but they weren't. The only surprises we discovered at Moose Hollow were good ones -- like two refrigerators in the large workable kitchen. The day after we checked in it rained, and none of us cared, because it was our first chance to enjoy all the comfy ambience and fun of the Main House great room. I could echo all previous five-star reviews, but what says it best is that our four-generation family is booked again for next summer. Thank you Joe and Andrew for making our thirteenth family reunion all that we had hoped for and more.

Exceptional Accomodations, would definitely return!

We had a large family in attendance for a 75th Birthday weekend. Needless to say Joseph ensured that the houses were clean and beautiful as if you were in your own home> Kitchens were stocked, extra chairs readily available and he was willing to communicate at any time if we needed. The houses and ponds look exactly like in the pictures and so great up close and personal. The beds were all comfortable and we enjoyed playing pool and doing sing kalongs with guitars outside and in the great room. We enjoyed playing whiffer ball as well as horseshoes. Our only regret is that we didn't sit around the fire pit as the weather for that day didn't permit. Our family is still talking about our stay at such an awesome place. Thank you for helping us create such great memories.

Amazing Property

I can’t begin to explain how amazing this property is, the photos do not do this place justice. The great room is incredible we played games all night, pool, shuffleboard, cards and dice while enjoying music playing throughout the house. Joe is a great communicator and Andrew plowed us out super early in the am so we could make it to the slopes. We had Ana amazing time and thanks to Joe for hosting.

A glimpse of heaven

What a wonderful property, with three beautiful houses. Great amenities, stunning views and trails, with great owners and property manager. Perfect for families or friends who want separate living quarters with an amazing shared space.

Amazing property

Our group had a wonderful time spread across the 3 houses - the house was grand, very clean, and on a beautiful spread out property. They have snowshoes, the hot tub/sauna are amazing, and there's a well stocked grocery/liquor store a few mins drive away (liquor store closes at 6 though so plan ahead!)
