Easy access to the beach! The house was well stocked and maintenance was prompt when we had one issue at the house. We loved our time here.

Location is perfect ! Very close to the beach. Check in process was flawless and owners were very helpful and responsive. The only issue we had was the AC unit was under par. It would only cool to 77 degrees on the one side of the house. This property is perfect for multi families / Teenage Children.

Perfect Location

Great place to stay

Clean and pool was great. It was split into 2 complete homes which was weird. The place felt very new and clean and I would stay again.

Great pool for children

The house itself is good, except the floors seemed like they had not been washed in a while. We liked the screened in breezeway. Some of the furniture needs to be updated. Furniture is not comfortable. The bed my wife and I were using was too high and not comfortable. The pool was perfect for the kids and the adults. All of the pool controls worked fine.

Beautiful home

This property was very clean. Very close to the beach. I stayed with my children. I had 5 children with me and we had plenty of space and privacy. They also enjoyed the pool. The best part was the very short walk to the beach.

Perfect Getaway

The house is close to the beach with plenty of parking. The pool and hot tub was clean. The entire house was set up perfectly especially with having two kitchens. Had one minor issue with a refrigerator, but it was repaired quickly by maintenance.

Fun time!

The location of this house was just across the street from the beach and our families enjoyed coming and going as needed since it was so close. We rented a golf cart while staying there and there was plenty of parking for 3 cars + golf cart. It was also nice having 2 separate areas with 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms with a shared pool out back. There were also some beach wagons and chairs in the garage to use while at the beach. The kids had a blast!

Great House, Close To Beach

This was a last minute trip we booked for ourselves and my parents. I loved this house because not only is it really close to the beach (easy distance for my elderly parents to walk) but it has two sides, both with a kitchen and private patios! My parents were able to go back to their side after a day at the beach and have down time and privacy from the kids and then we would congregate back at the pool for happy hour. :) We would definitely book this house again and again. Great for us with family but would be awesome with our friends too because of the privacy.

Overall satisfied

We are happy with the stay. The only few things that we wished were better is a variety of kitchen pots and pans. We had to constantly go back in fourth between the 2 kitchens. The patio door in both units does not lock from the patio to the house, so you’re almost sleeping with an unlocked door. Also, the lock to the front door doesn’t work in one of the units. So we had to always enter from one of the units and walk to the other. Also, the thermostat in one of the rooms didn’t work so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. The cleaning crew could do a much better job too. Many of the dishes were dirty, the floor in the closets was dirty, floor under the bed was extremely dirty. Other than that, the location, the pool, back deck area, shower outside and neighborhood was amazing. We left many pool toys that we purchased so hopefully the next family that vacations can enjoy those. Thank you! :)

The property is as described. Short walk to beach and free trolley stops. Great pool, hot tub and seating around pool. Pool is shaded on one side in morning and the other side in the afternoon. Great if you want to sit by the pool but not a fan of to much sun. As stated in other reviews, access to the pool / backyard from the "suites" or duplexes is awkward since the only interior door to the pool is through the bathroom connected to one of the bedrooms. There is outside access from both sides of the property. Bedrooms are small, but it was nice having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Our group of three adults and five teenagers had good separation. Both sides had their own outside, screened area which was nice. A garage between the units was a great place for the beach chairs, collapsible shelter, and two carts/wagons provided for use at the beach. With the free trolley we decided to not rent a car or golf cart. The trolley runs every 20 minutes and is normally on time. It got us too both ends of the island and stops in between. There were stops near the restaurants, Publix, Walgreens and CVS. There were a few minutes of anxiery as we were close to arriving. AMI Locals had advised they would email the door code an hour before checkin time of 4 p.m. It never arrived. We were delayed arriving by about an hour and I was calling (no answer twice) texting and emailing to get the code. It was finally received about 5-10 minutes before arriving. Other than that one time the people at AMI Local were very prompt in replying to texts. I feel the property, itself is overpriced.

Close to the beach

A perfect short walk to the beach made this property ideal! Nestled into Holmes Beach we felt like we were in a neighborhood and not a tourist town. We loved the hot tub and all of the beach supplies!

Ideal location near beach, luxurious private pool

I stayed here with my wife and two kids (ages 8 and 10) in July. The house was very clean and has been nicely renovated. The location is ideal, just a little more than a block from the beach (~2 minute walk). The private heated pool and hot tub in the back yard were a highlight of the trip. My kids absolutely loved the pool! The setup of the house is a bit awkward as there are essentially two sides ot the house (each with its own kitchen/outdoor grill and each with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). Our family only used one side of the house as the layout was unclear when I first booked the property. The exit from one half of the house to the back yard pool is through one of the bathrooms, which made for a couple awkward moments. The pool side furniture could be improved to match the luxurious pool. There was very nice shade provided to half the pool by nice palm trees on the southern and western side of the property but a pool side table with umbrella is a much needed addition. We will definitely look into returning to this property. Thanks again!

Review

The location was very good. Receptive property manager when the code was wrong for one of the units. No hand soap, vertical blinds missing (and husband found a box in the garage and put up), coffee maker but no pot in one of the units, ice machine didn't work in one of the units, sliding glass door wouldn't shut well and lock in one of the units. Overall, I was not very pleased with this rental and will not rent again. It was the most expensive rental we have ever had in Anna Maria (have visited for over 20 years) and by far the least impressive.

Great location short walk to beach would stay again

All amenities as pictured. Easy check in. Property management easy to communicate with and very prompt response. Only recommendation is to utilize garage as walk in pantry for kitchen supplies. All necessary kitchen items provided but had to search both kitchens to find items.

Not what I expected

Although the house is described as a duplex I thought their would be easy access to the common pool. There is not! The only inside door to the pool area is through 1 of the master bathrooms. You have to go out of the home to enter the pool. Also the house is not well stocked for a group of 8. Not many large serving bowls. Hard to get in one of the units cabinets. The pool is pretty but the pebbles get in it. Not enough sitting area around the pool. I was disappointed
