Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and location were great. The management company delivered items that we requested in a timely fashion which made our stay great! The lanai has a beautiful view. Overall great stay at this property. They have coolers to use and beach chairs. Notes to enhance: We had only 6 rolls of toilet paper for the entire 11 day stay for 6 people. For the cost of the property, we felt it should have provided more.

Great house overlooking pool with ocean view

We loved sitting out on the lanai in back looking at the ocean and overlooking the pool. The host was very responsive and the house had everything we needed for our stay in Hawaii.

Amazing Place - Stellar Pool - But DANG they need A/C

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just about everything was perfect about this property. From the location to the ocean views, the stellar pool, ample parking space and such a quiet location with only the sounds of the night to keep you company. The one issue I had with this property is the lack of A/C - when we first entered the property it was so hot and stuffy it was almost hard to breathe. Even with every fan going, strategic opening and shutting of windows/doors at key times and avoiding any use of the stove - we still ended up with indoor temps in the high 80's every day and night. A VERY minimal investment in room A/C units in the bedrooms (at a minimum) would transform this from a stellar property to the perfect one!

Gorgeous property in a gorgeous neighborhood with walking trails and very kind neighbors. There is no AC, so this was a pretty warm stay for us Texans.

The pool was great and so were the views. The property could use some maintenance. The cupboard door in the kitchen fell off when opened, the dishwasher heating element might need to be replaced, there is only enough hot water for 3 showers.

Great house for family vacation. Rear porch is terrific, beautiful sunsets. House should add air conditioning to bedrooms .

Great all around!

Stayed for 4 days on the Kona side of the island with my family. Loved the home. The views were stunning!!! Breakfast and dinner on the balcony or cooling off in the pool! Can’t say enough good things.

Excellent getaway

House was beautiful. Set in the perfect location for going anywhere. Great lanai over looking the pool and ocean can be seen over the trees. Beautiful sunsets. Perfect for 6 people be it friends or families

The lanai view is amazing

The house was good. The lanai view was amazing. The pool is OK. I would not come back again because you have to have an in person check-in.

Wonderful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed are stay in this lovely house. The Lanai was by far our favourite area of the house. Great views, great location and only a $12 Uber ride into Kona. The pool is refreshing after a long day. My only comment would be that a light be installed over the BBQ as others have mentioned, we generally ate around 8:00 pm and it is dark! Would stay there again.

Awesome sunset house

Super place. Location, amenities, and view all 5 stars. Only suggestion is to replace the pots and pans (non-stick all thoroughly abused by people and scratched to death & are now toxic to use).

Kona Paradise

The Kona Sunset Home has been our go to place for annual winter sun breaks for years. Comfortable, beautiful ocean views/sunsets and dinning on the Lana. The pool, master suite and workable kitchen are truly a bonus to this home in a quiet neighborhood. I always spend a few days reading at the pool or on the Lana in between beach visits. A wonderful home to relax and enjoy the bounty Kona has to offer.
