The Space:

Vacations matter at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. Property amenities abound and are designed for relaxation and recreation to appeal to everyone in your party! The whole family will enjoy the newly-renovated outdoor pool, and seasonal offerings, including beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee), and an outdoor tiki bar. Get ready for a day in the sun and swing by the lobby gift shop for T shirts, sunglasses, cool drinks, and quick snacks. Complimentary DVD rentals are available. Rev up in the fitness facility or unwind in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room. Book personal or business functions on-site as SunDestin Beach Resort maintains more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 0407 brings all the charm of Destin inside, complete with bright, cheerful artwork and comfortable furnishings. You’ll find plenty of room to spread out and relax after a day in the sun in this one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. Prep snacks and meals in the fully-appointed kitchen and gather around the dining room table with seating for six. Chill in the living room with flat-screen TV or check out expansive views from the private balcony, directly overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Adjourn to the master suite with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV and en suite bathroom, or retire on twin bunks nestled in the hall or on the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.



You’ll quickly find there’s no shortage of things to do in sunny Destin. Spend an afternoon parasailing or kayaking, charter a boat for a day of fishing, or take the whole family to a waterpark!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Property sits right on the ocean with a very short walk to the beach. My kids loved the pool area and location is pretty central to all the best attractions and restaurants.

Great location, clean pool, direct beach access

We enjoyed the amenities, location and beach. Paid extra for chair and umbrella rental on beach. The couch bed mattress was pretty thin, but overall there were adequate supplies of linens, towels, and dishes.

Great location! Had everything we needed. Bunk beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture was stained and sandy when we arrived. Need better brooms and a dust pan. Thank you!

Good condo for location

The condo was nice. Great view and location. Facilities were good for age of the building. Pool, splash pad, & hot tub were decent. Inside condo: Dishwasher door didn’t work correctly (would not open fully to allow use). Cloth furniture stained. Only way to clean floors was a small broom (doesn’t get sand up well). Will visit again.

Great stay

We come to the Sundestin at least once a year. We love it!! It was a great time this time as well. The only problem was there was no broom that was functional in the condo. We bought one from Dollar Tree and left it there for future guests. The only other thing I would suggest would be maybe an extra potholder, there was only 1. Other than that, everything was amazing as always

Good but make it better to come back.

Everything seems fine except the Bed and Couch. They should change them, they are not at all comfortable. Most of the dishes are very cheap quality. Kindly have them which any body can use them.

This has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I specifically chose this property because it advertised an indoor pool, even aftet i read some of the comment regarding renovations. I thought, oh how bad can it be......Unfortunately, it bad. there is no indoor pool, no gym, not even a proper front entrance to access the reception desk, which made the stay even more frustrating, and theres no umbrella for shade by the pool. How disappointing this is.The room also does not match the photos shown on the website. The furniture, including the corner table and dining setup, is completely different and looks much cheaper than expected. The room still had so much sand on the floor. The bed in the one bedroom is not comfortable at all. I saw a few little trash on the bed. The soda was not all the way clean as it still have sand. The sofa bed was so bad. It wasnt comfortable at all. If the listing been accurate about the amenities especially the indoor pool then I would have chosen a different place with better facilities and overall value. It was too late when we got there.

Good Enough

It was a nice-enough unit. Maintained fairly well. It is probably difficult to keep stains off the fabric furniture. Could not find power to dishwasher and it looked like the previous renter couldn't either. Being a newbie to renting condos like this, my main gripe is that the resort (and those neighboring) monopolize the beachfront with their own umbrellas and chairs. Those who don't want to pay to rent are relegated to back rows on the beach and thus poor views of the water. So we didn't spend much time sitting on the sand - instead just took a few walks.

Great location

Add a great time in Destin. Few issues were the cleanliness of the building. They were doing renovations, but our room had had scuffs. On the walls mold on the ceiling in a couple spots period beds were super comfortable . Was told I could use the customer service Number to text texted a couple times never had a response. I do recommend this resort.I'm hoping, by the time they get done doing the remodel that it will be great. The company that they're using to do the renovation covered our cars up multiple times when they were packed painting or doing everything up topic could cause a hazard period so thankful for this.. One thing that was great was the elevators.We never had to wait longer than a couple minutes

Beware - Family of 6

I was disappointed with this stay. Location is great but the building is old and unit is outdated. The lady at the front desk was not the most welcoming. You couldn't buy a second parking pass. They only allow ONE vehicle on the property. You had to park the second one ACROSS the street at the old chickfila. The elevators were very slow. Chair rentals very high. 3 Chairs and One umbrella cost $140 for a day and a half. The sheets looked dirty. We ended up going to buy a new set of sheets and comforter. The king mattress was so hard that I opt'd for the bunk the second night and it was a little better. The beach was very clean and access to it was very short and convenient. I have stayed at much better. This place definitely gave off the I just want somewhere to crash vibes. The indoor pool was small. Although the food at the restaurant downstairs was amazing! The convenience was definitely there but not somewhere I would take my child again.

Great stay the view from the balcony was amazing. The bunk bed area did have a little bit of a smell not sure why because everything else smelled clean. But overall our stay was great!
