Hi Cynthia. We do have DTV cable. The batteries in the remote died. We would have immediately brought new ones, but at that time, you told me no TV was ok that the laidies were not going to use it most likely. We are so appreciative that you told us the TV wouldn't come on. We were able to quickly resolve the issue with your help and good communication. Thank you for staying with us. Come back soon! Kim

Thank you Victoria for your review. My question for you is, why didn't you call if you had questions or maintenance issues? We are on call 24/7 and with in 5 minutes of all our homes. 1. Upon inspection the day you departed, we found the fridge to be cold and at 37 degrees. No dripping. Perhaps your guests had over filled the unit with warm single serve beverages like, beer, soda, and waters? In humidity and those circumstances, any fridge would struggle to cool and would develop condensation and drip inside. This is why we stipulate in our Beach House Rules, that guests bring a ice chest with ice for their single serve beverages. Allowing the fridges to circulate cold air with the door closed as much as possible to keep food cold and safe. 2. We have fresh sponges in wrappers under the sinks for use as needed. 3. We checked all the showers for a shower head falling off, but found them all tight and functional. Perhaps you tightened it when you were there? We thank you if so. As with all guest visits, communication is necessary on the end of the guests and management as well. If given the opportunity to assist you, we could have 24/7 anytime day or night. We are 5 minutes away. Often all that's needed to assist is a 2 minute conversation. We really appreciate the care your group took of our home and hope to host you again some time. And please...call anytime you need us. That is what we are here for. Thank you, Kim & Barney

Hi Sharon. Are you ready to come back? Haha it's been a week since you have been gone. Jesse said to tell you hello. Thank for taking such good care of Bella Vita 16 and the wonderful review.

Hi Darla. We are sorry to hear that you had trouble following our driving directions to the property. The directions provided are described by guests as "Spot on." My husband and I both checked our phones, email, and Vrbo messaging apps. There is not one missed call or message from you. Unfortunately, we can not respond or offer assistance if we are not contacted as we are on call 24/7 and have never been told "we do not respond." Perhaps you were unable to dial out or get a connection on your phones or dialed the wrong number. We are just 5 minutes away and would have loved to be given the opportunity to help you learn how to use your phone in a foreign country, help you with the driving directions, and can take care of ants in a bout a minute. We are very sorry to have missed the opportunity to assist you. You did not check in on Vrbo or text us at your arrival. We called and left you messages. You did not respond. We went to the home just to check you in and make sure you arrived. No one answered the doors. We assumed you were on the beach having a good time. Not having heard otherwise. We inspected the home before and after your arrival and see no signs of ants. Not saying you did not have some while you were there as we have ants on all beaches and treat for them as needed. In the event you had called us, we would have been able to help you right away and would be happy to do so. It is true that Playa Encanto is 15 minutes from city center. Then another 5 minutes thru the neighborhood to our home. The driving directions and Vrbo Map pin show the distance. We are away from the noise and crowds of the resorts areas. This is one of the main reasons we are booked all year long. This being your 1st time to Rocky Point and/or the private east beaches, there is much to learn. Pre trip planning is necessary for all travelers when going to a new region or country. This may include researching the area and city tourist info/sites or communicating to your Vrbo host your concerns and questions before traveling. We answer 1000s of questions from travelers new or returning guests. If we get the chance again to host you at any of our 23 beach homes, we would happily give instructions on how to use your American phone in foreign countries. How to plan a trip to a new unknown destination. Or direct you to any information you needed. This will help you have a 5 star experience on your next trip. We can only help you if you communicate your needs to us. We are very used to doing this especially for new travelers who have not been here or never stayed in a private Mexico Beach Home. Quite different than a hotel. And very popular because of that. For our next stay, I recommend trying the Los Conchas beach neighborhood which is closer to town. It is although, very crowed and has big sharp reefs in the surf. Very difficult for swimming. Here in Playa Encanto there are no reefs in the surf. Just smooth sandy beaches. That is because where are a little ways from Rocky Point. It is called Rocky Point for that very reason. There is also the resort areas you may enjoy about 15 minutes west of city center. To access Puerto Penasco tourism info, go to: The Rocky Point Times Newspaper online. or www.cometorockypoint.com or Rockypoint 360 news Thank you Darla for the information that helps us try and fix problems guests have that we can control before they get here or during the stay. Communication on both ends being the best way to have a 5 Star experience. Although you did not communicate with us at all, we still rated you as a 5 star guest on Vrbo. The good condition you left our home and the care you took is much appreciated. With 5 star ratings on your profile, owners such as myself are more apt to rent to you and more apt to give a rental discount if asked. Sincerely yours, Kim

Thank you! I really enjoyed your review. Working with you from start to finish was a pleasure. The excellent care you took of our home is much appreciated. Please come again soon! Thanks, Kim

Hi Juanita. We are sorry that you do not know how to use your cell phone when in a foreign country. It is wise to contact our cellular providers prior to traveling. I received just 1 text from you which I answered right away the 1 message I did receive. Yes, we did just have a rain and there were multiple homes in this large complex that had ants. They were treated the day before your arrival by us and the complex manager as well. Ant hills had formed outside the units. You were provided ant spray as well. It can take several days to clear up ants after a rain and during these hot humid dates. After your departure, during the cleaning, the ant situation had been resolved. This did take 2 days. The length of your stay. We could not help you with the refrigerator problem as you did not call. We did find that the unit had been turned all the way to high on the freezer and all the way to highh in the frige section. When people do this, it can cause the temperature valve to close as the freezer is then freezing the frige section. We corrected your settings and the unit is working well and holding temp at 37 degrees. We are sorry that you did not know how to use Wi-fi calling. I would have answered and been able to help you with the frige settings. There is also information in the guest book on how to use Wi fi calling. It works very well inside the homes and is free. A Note: When warm or room temperature items are placed in any frige, it will take 8 hours to chill the food or beverage to 37 degrees. I did alert housekeeping about the shower. When our beach homes are vacant for some time, The P Trap pipes in the drain dry out. This allows normal sewar gases to escape into the room. Your information is very helpful as I can remind housekeeping to run water down all drains even if the shower or sink is clean. This would have prevented this normal escape of gases. Once you ran the shower, the gases do not come back. You sealed the P trap with water. Thank you for this good information. We always appreciate all the guest comments. If you did not mention it, we would not have had a chance to correct the issue. We are always keeping our eyes out for ants. The beach is ant heaven! Please come see us again. Guests like you are a pleasure to work with and the care you took of our home was wonderful.

Thank you Patricia we appreciate you and the care you took of our property
