Vacation

Wondeful stay, minus the hiccup on the first night with the ac unit on the fritz. Erin was very Accommodating allowing us to move to the lower unit cause no one was in it. Only thing i would suggest is a more comfortable couch for the lower unit. Great place to stay. We enjoyed it. If we ever come back this way, we will be booking through her again. Hopefully we didnt cause a big headache on the first night. Thank you Erin for a very relaxing stay.

Hanging out in Galveston

We like it, have stayed there before and will probably stay there again in the future. The stairs were a little much climbing them but worth it!

Overall great property

Very clean house in an excellent location for beach and pier access! We traveled with two young kids and this place worked out great for us, we especially appreciated the washer and dryer available for use. There was a small hiccup with getting into the house but Erica was quick with communication and fixing the issue. We will definitely be back!

The place is great, neighborhood not so much, after dark.

It’s located 1.5 blocks from the ocean which is totally awesome, but 1/2 block from a pub which brought in sketchy people past 2am waking us up from loud base music and drunk hollering. Called the cops the 2nd night this occurred, but didn’t fix the issue of the rowdy crowd. Nobody messed with our rental vehicle who h was parked on the street thankfully, but we didn’t get much sleep because we were Keepin an eye on the sketch people. Finally they would disperse about 3am.

This was a fabulous location. We all slept comfortably. We had a party of 6, my husband and i and 4 kids ages 14, 7, and 4 y/o twins. The house was nice and cozy. We were walking distance to the beach and pleasure pier. It had a wagon, chairs, and beach toys. The beach also has umbrellas and chairs to rent for the day. Multiple restaurants within walking distance as well as a playground with a splash pad. I hope we can stay here again in the future!

Great 4 night stay, location was excellent, unit was nicely updated, comfortable couch with Smart TV. Never had to touch A/C. control. Very comfortable. Will be back for sure.

Very Clean & Cozy

My husband and I stayed for a short beach vacation and had a great time. If you tend to be uneasy about cleanliness when you travel, quit scrolling and book this property because it is well kept and absolutely spotless! The upstairs unit was very nice and the host provided everything we needed with such an easy check in and check out. In all honesty we only had one complaint. This unit has street parking and does require a parking permit(which is provided but not explained prior to booking.) We have an open Jeep and I worried this permit would be taken off our dash which caused me some anxiety. I must also note that this did not happen and all is well. For the majority of guests this would not be a problem at all and I would rebook if we were in a different vehicle.

Location

The location of this property is excellent-walking distance to Pleasure Pier & the beach. Erin is kind and easy to get ahold of. Easy check-in/out process. House was clean and everything provided-even a new sponge for dishes.

Excellent location close to Pleasure Pier and Beach

My wife, two kids, and I stayed here for four nights. Erin was a great host and her upstairs unit was very clean and had a very modern feel with beach themes. It’s a block from the pier and beach, there’s a park playground one blocks away as well. There’s a covered porch with chairs if you want to be outside and listen to the waves. She even had beach toys, camping chairs, and a wagon for use by guests if needed. There was also a toddler stroller for use as well. The kitchen has just about everything you need to make meals, as well as a Keurig coffee maker. She even had complementary K cups, creamer, and sugar which was a nice touch! King bed was comfortable and actually king sized. I’ve used VRBO many times before and sometimes beds described as “queen” sized are actually double beds which is frustrating. The double bunk beds were great for our kids to have their own space and this location would accommodate a family of six well. Loved our stay here and highly recommend!

Spring Break 2022

My family and I spent half of our spring break in this cute house! It was very clean. The host was quick with any questions that we had. She made the check in and out process a breeze! The house was well stocked with anything you could need! She even provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and all the towels and linens you need! There was a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry detergent available for use! We honestly couldn’t have asked for better! The location is perfect! Basically right on seawall and two blocks from the pier! Not to mention there is a bar two houses down! We would highly suggest this house, or any from this host for that matter! We will most definitely be coming back for a visit! Highly recommended!!

One Night Stay

We had a quick visit for my wife and I and 4 kids. The layout was perfect, location was great, and the host accommodated a request that the other VRBOs we looked at would not consider (we needed to check in a couple of hours early.) The outside of the house was standard Galveston beach house, but the inside was a big step up from other places we've stayed. Very clean and updated. My group of 6 all had a real bed (not a pull out couch for anyone,) and the place fit us great. We would stay again.

Great location!!

The house was nicely decorated and set up (nice to have coffee, sugar, cream, etc). The 4 bunks with storage were great! And the king bed was very comfortable. Location is great…short walk to the Pleasure Pier, shops, and restaurants.

My family of five have lived in Galveston for a few years. We love the city- it is a very diverse, unique, history-filled beach town.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

This property came to us slightly outdated. We added a lot of love to this house, both upstairs and downstairs. The location can't be beat! We just love waking up to the sounds of the ocean and seagulls.

The house is within walking distance to many tourist attractions and restaurants. It is also uniquely situated to be around all the Mardi Gras parade routes!
