OCEAN FRONT amazing east end home on beautiful Holden Beach. PET FRIENDLY with spectacular panoramic ocean views. Beach access is across the low traffic street. Lovely inverted floor plan beach home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and sleeps 8. There is 1 King, 2 Queen and 2 Twin beds. Cleanliness is a priority and fresh linens are furnished and beds are made upon arrival. There are hardwood floors throughout and ocean views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms, 2 of which open onto a covered deck. The first floor has 3 bedrooms. A king bedroom with private bath. A queen bedroom and the twin bedrooms which share a jack and jill bathroom. The washer/dryer is also located on this level. Second level is a queen bedroom with private bath. Also on this level is a 1/2 bath off the living area. The living area opens onto a large upper porch with chairs and rockers. There is a large dining table that seats 8 and is also great for board games. The kitchen is fully equipped new appliances and solid surface countertops.
There is also an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water and dressing area.
Plenty of parking for 4 cars. The house offers free high speed wifi and is a great option when working remotely.
If you must work while vacationing there is a handy folding desk in the upper level bedroom closet.
This is a NON-Smoking home.

Overall a very nice stay! Very clean and hostess met us and was super wonderful. Elevator is a game changer if you have an elderly dog or person! Tv is fire stick, so good luck figuring out how to get basic ABC channel, or working it in general. I

Great place to stay

Great house for the week! Communication very easy with the property manager, and the couple issues that we ran into were quickly resolved with the manager. The house could definitely use some improvements as it was a little dated and drafty, but the location could not be better!

Location, cleanliness and Realtor were great, but the house needs maintenance. Several exterior and interior doors were very hard to open or close. AC filters were old, dirty and musty. I installed new air filters, but the house (especially lower floor) smelled musty/moldy all week. All 4 bathrooms had been updated and were very clean. The kitchen was clean and well supplied with dishes and cookware, but the cabinet doors are delaminating.

Quiet Beach Front Property

The location felt safe and quiet. Beach access was easy and the beach wasn’t crowded. The house was nice, spacious and well stocked.Would recommend new locks for the doors as not all of them worked. Overall, a great beach rental and recommend to others!

Holden Beach

We have been going to Holden Beach for over 10 years. It is our favorite place. This by far was the worst experience we have had with a rental property. When we arrived the house was not cleaned at all. We had to wait almost 3 hours for the cleaning crew to complete their cleaning. The garbage bags were removed from the garbage cans but the bottom of them were still dirty. The shower curtains in each bathroom had mold on them and the house had not had a deep cleaning done. There was dust on the vents and dirt on the doors and walls. The house is not well maintained as the hardwood floors are swollen and the doors in the closets and out to the porches either couldn't be opened or stuck. Good thing my husband had WD40 as we had to spray the doors to the porch in order to open easier. The toilet in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor wouldn't flush. A maintenance man was sent out and fixed it but later that day it still did not flush all the way so we did not use that bathroom. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom on the 3rd floor was coming out of the wall so we did not put the toilet paper on the holder. We had no lights on the stairs in the front or back so trying to walk down the stairs was dangerous. A maintenance person did come out 3 days later and replace the front fixture and we then had light in the front but none in the back. The stairs on the porch in the front were very dangerous and uneven. We paid for linens and were only give one towel each.

Great views and without overwhelming crowds

Our family really enjoyed our time together. The views and beach location was fantastic. We enjoyed the surrounding area and were happy to not be overwhelmed by crowds. The house was spacious and the elevator which serviced the top floor only was nice for bringing in and packing out our luggage. The house was beautifully decorated. Although, an update to furniture and mattresses is needed though as they are showing there age and usage. Lastly, while the house was overall clean, there was an obvious lack of detailed cleaning. Accumulated, dust and dirt in corners and dried food in the garage can was unappealing. The deck and furniture also needs to be cleaned and refurbished.

Great vacation

This is the second year we have rented this property for our beach vacation and it was another great experience. Perfect location and the elevator made it possible for grandparents to enjoy the week as well. The property manager, Gina, was super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Excellent Location

We had a nice Spring Break in spite of the nasty weather. The house is in an excellent location: very quiet and excellent views! We were able to bring our dogs which made it a lovely vacation for the family. For future renters, note that the elevator does not stop at the main sleeping floor, so luggage needs to be ferried to the top floor, that has only one queen bed, and then carried down to the bedrooms. Also, the beds are not especially comfortable. The kitchen and living area are well equipped and have lovely views. The balconies are wonderful for taking in the sea air and relaxing. Overall we recommend this rental, especially if you have dogs.

"Holden" on to Fond Memories

Property was great and met all of our family needs. Pet friendly, which is so hard to find in a beach front home. Access to the beach was great and the elevator was a life saver for the senior members of our family. We will forever "Hold-On" to the memories we made at Holden Beach.

Gorgeous views! Challenging landscape for pets.

Hold-On-Beach is a lovely property sitting ia a perfect location! We stayed for 4 nights for my birthday weekend. It had everything my husband and I, and our fur-baby needed. They even put out dog bowls for him! You cannot beat the sweeping views of the beach, sunrises and sunsets! I loved enjoying coffee on all the decks and enjoying the heavenly views. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the landscape which was covered in sandburs. Sadly, our puppy’s first steps onto the property landed him in a yard covered in these. He suffered miserably. I cannot recommend this property for pets. It is a lovely home otherwise.

Spectacular and peaceful beach home

We were visiting with our oldest son, daughter in law and grandbabies. This home was perfect for all of us to be together. We were all able to have our own privacy when needed. We had easy access to the beach. The view from both balconies were incredible. The kitchen was well stocked for us. I definitely would recommend this home.

Amazing beach views

Enjoyed our week at the beach. Loved the great views. Short walk to beach aces was great! Plenty of room for our family if 8. Great kitchen! The covered porch was the best part of the house!!!!

Thank you for stopping to look at our new home. Just like you, we found Hold-On-Beach on VRBO, while looking for a relaxing family beach get-a-way. At the time, the three most important things to my family were being close to the beach/ocean, cleanliness and the ability to work remotely from the house. Hold-On-Beach succeeded my expectations and the fantasy of owning an ocean front home become a reality. Now that this is our family home, it is important to me that visitors to our house are able to have the same experience I did. I strive to make sure the house is clean and everything is in working order so guests can relax, have fun and can also feel comfortable that, if necessary, they can schedule an important business video conference call from the home. I have two young children, so I look forward to my kids growing up in the house and making a lifetime of memories. Hopefully you can make some great memories here too.

Location, location, location. This house is as close to the beach as possible, without being directly on the sand and without a private path, which is ideal to me. The dunes and street in between the house and the ocean give us added protection. We are located on the east end of Holden-Beach, which is extremely quiet and experiences very little traffic compared to the west end. The location is also wonderful because it allows you to sit out on the deck, watch surfers and the sunset, all without every leaving the house or getting sandy.
