Unit 204 Compass Point 1

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was very clean, had a well appointed kitchen, good location and fabulous beach. However, the shower drain was clogged, freezer air filter was filthy so no ice was being made, 2 blinds did not work so the view was blocked, inside of dryer vent was full of lint(needed vacuuming out). There were plenty of towels and an extra set of sheets and comforters if needed.Upon packing the car on departure date, a release pipe burst with scalding hot water from the parking garage ceiling. Thank goodness my grandchildren, who were helping pack up the car, were not standing under it. Basically, routine maintenance and care was not given to this unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location and amenities of this property. The property is quiet and is maintained in excellent condition. The beach is very quiet with plenty of space to enjoy. The pool and pool house is absolutely perfect. Some tips that would have made our experience even better is to know ahead of time what items are available in the kitchen. I felt no b like the kitchen lacked some supplies that I thought would have been there if you planned on cooking at the condo. We were not aware of where our rental bikes would be parked but we may have missed that email. Regardless the management team answered us promptly. It would have been lovely to have access to any beach items but they were all locked up. This is the first time we have ever experienced all the beach items being locked when we have vacationed on 30A. None of these issues were a big deal for us but we would have been better prepared in our packing if we knew these things upfront. However these are all tiny speed bumps because we loved the property, the room and how responsive the management was. We will definitely be back!!

Great location

We had a great stay in this condo for our fifth trip to the 38 area and second Tieman Watersound proper. We loved this condo’s location near the beach and pool. There’s a very tiny peekaboo view of the ocean from the balcony.

The entire Watersound community is beautiful and so quiet and relaxing. Beach never crowded which is great. Only issue was having that ugly brown lake water for half of our week.
