It was clean, however, we did find a couple cockroaches in the master bath/bedroom. Also, had to buy our own toilet paper, they have “starter” rolls, but with 5 ppl staying for 4 days…. The host was super easy to get a hold of and worked really well with questions. Overall, I would recommend.

Perfect vacation getaway!

We had the best time staying! Such a nice place and just a walk to the beach. They had all the beach things we need and my kids enjoyed fishing in the pond! Would recommend 100%

I've stayed in Barrier Dunes so many times and love the complex, the beach proximity, and the amenities. My stay was overall fine, but this unit could use updating and also experienced higher that usual roach count during my stay. While I know it's Florida, it's buggy, after staying in many of the local homes, having 5 roaches show up during a 3 night stay is a bit much. Likely need a good exterminator visit soon!

Awesome!

Good times with dog lovers! Enjoying time with our dogs is a high priority and we appreciate the cleanliness of the beach house and the beach. Love this place! You will not go wrong renting this place.

Nice Accomodations

The rental unit is well furnished with the appropriate items to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. We didn't use all amenities, but those that we used were good met our needs.

This property at Cape San Blas exceeded all of our expectations. The home was perfect, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for.I have three sons, and I let my middle son choose our destination. His request was to fish in both fresh water and salt water—which I didn’t think was possible—but this property made it happen. Having access to both a pond and the ocean was incredible.Seeing the joy on my boys’ faces made this trip unforgettable.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway

Such a cozy, relaxing place!

This 2 BR condo is perfectly situated between the beach and a beautiful pond full of turtles and fish. The sound of the fountains, the moonlight on the water, are mesmerizing. We left so relaxed and recharged. Definitely recommend!

Best Place

Stephanie always makes it easy when it come to check in and out. The Condo is great! We stay in the same one every time we come back! Love it there..was glad to have our son with us, he is home from Deployment.l, great family time.❤️

Fantastic

We loved our stay at this property. It was quiet, peaceful, CLEAN, and cared for. Fantastic location with access to the beach, the cape, and the state park. We enjoyed time in the pool, playing pickleball, and sitting by the pond watching the turtles. We loved the close access to the bike path (we rented bikes for the week through San Flea). Zero complaints. Would stay here again in an instant.

GREAT UNIT

Our family has been coming to Cape San Blas and Barrier Dunes for nearly 20 years. This is a great unit. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything was well decorated and clean. The location was great with ocean views from the master balcony. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked and the toys and beach extras in the closet downstairs were an unexpected treat. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Excellent all around

This must be a common place for the owners to come as the house was fully stocked of gear (not food as usual w vrbo's). Loved it! Plenty of beach and kitchen gear that normally would be lacking in rentals. Would definitely return

Exactly as advertised...thankfully

Have stayed in many units in Barrier Dunes over 10 years. Not all meet their advertised standard of cleanliness or everything-listed-is-there. This unit does: clean; kitchen well stocked; beach access; etc. Thank goodness.

Place was exactly as it was pictured. Great location. Nice people to deal with. Easy to have a pet there and easy to clean up after with the floors. The only suggestion woudl be to have a folder left of things to do in the area since you are more aware of the fun things to do. Having said that, really not their responsibility to do that. Would defintely come back again.

Pleasant Experience

Great Place to stay, twin master suites. Everything was comfortable and the condo had everything you could possibly need. It was nice to have only a short walk to the beach. Also the customer service was great, a simple call or text and the information was given quickly. As far as the stocked pond goes, there weren’t any bass or bream big enough to bite, but when feeding the turtles, there were some nice catfish that came up. They also have bogey boards, a beach cart, umbrella, and etc for you to use. Really made it feel like home.

Amazing Vacation!

We had such a GREAT vacation!! This is the first time we have taken our fur babies to the beach and it was soooooo much fun!! The rental was EXACTLY as the pictures showed!! VERY clean and had everything we need and SO MUCH MORE!! Having the wagon and beach chairs available for use made our trips to the beach easy! Our 15 yo daughter made friends and enjoyed hanging with new friends and showing off our dogs!! Stefanie with VRBO never missed a phone call and literally answers on the FIRST RING!! ❤️ If you’re ever looking for a beautiful beach, family environment, dog friendly rental and so much more - I suggest you stay HERE!!!

Great location

This is a very clean unit at Barrier Dunes. The views from both the front and back are wonderful. We enjoyed having a very short walk to the beach. There is storage on the outside with beach wagon and chairs. We had brought our one so did not use but a big convenience.The bed was comfortable in the master. ( we did not use the second bedroom) the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. The appliances are on the older side but work adequately.. Most restaurants are a fair jaunt back into Port St Joe but there are a couple on the cape and a few convenience stores for grabbing a few items.We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.
