This 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin that sleeps 4 is the perfect place to getaway. Located in Sky Harbor just 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg you will be right in the center or everything.
Upon entering Hillbilly Shack you will be greeted with an open area of the living room and kitchen making meals and movie time very convenient. You will have a deck just off this area that is completely screened in with a hot tub.
Ready to turn in just head back inside, take a short stroll down the hall, and hop into the comfy queen bed where you can get a good night’s sleep, while the kids stretch out on the sleeper sofa for the night, watching their favorite comedy before bed.
Wake up and hop in the bath/ shower combo to get your day started right. Go out for hiking or shopping enjoying all that The Great Smoky Mountains have to offer Take the time to go fishing at the catch and release pond in Sky Harbor. Then head back to Hillbilly Shack to repeat your peaceful downtime all over again. This property will have you in such a calming effect that you will want to come back every chance you get whether it be for a quick weekend getaway or a family vacation with a trip to Dollywood for the kids and holding a bubbly hot tub ready and waiting to soak your cares away. No matter the well thought out excuse Hillbilly Shack will be the place that simply fits your needs for every trip.

Quiet little getaway, we saw a bear, and turkeys!

Nice little place close to amenities off the beaten path. Quiet little get away.

Beautiful mountain cabin

We loved our stay here, checking in and out was very simple, and having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a definite plus. It is a pretty hilly road to get there so if going in the winter I’d suggest something with 4wd but overall a nice place to stay!

Just what we needed

Loved everything about this little cabin. Husband and I wanted to get away for a couple of days and this was perfect. Just far enough from the touristy cities. We loved the hot tub and the views from it. Would definitely recommend

hillbilly shack

cabin was very clean however , not recommended for more than 2 people.. sofa mattress very uncomfortable, hot tub for 2 people.thankfully we brought a blow up mattress. Besides the abandoned trailer next to it, we had a nice stay.

I would stay again!

I only spent one full day here, but I loved the cabin. It's perfect for one person or for a couple. It was small and welcoming. I was by myself, I didn't have any issues and would have extended my stay if I didn't have to work the next day. The amenities were generous, and the staff was incredibly nice and super helpful. I really like having the Alexa in the cabin to tell me about the area and the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying and I want to go back.

Great Place, loved the hot tub

This place was great, high on the mountain. The hot tub was a great bonus. The house was clean, plenty of towels, easy parking and starter coffee. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was cabin cozy. The only thing I feel should be said is the pull out should not be considered for sleeping for anyone. child included. It was more of a pad, than a mattress and the springs were visible, the springs on the frame itself were giving. Overall, the place was great, we would just bring a blow up next time. Thank you

You Get What You Pay For

Unfortunately, our stay at The Hillbilly Shack didn’t live up to our expectations. There is an old, dilapidated trailer right next to the cabin and a van directly across that looks like it’s been sitting there for years. We found a toenail in the hot tub, there’s a trash can and a broken glass bottle in the backyard. The interior is clean, but small and outdated. My husband and I will not be returning.

Mediocre at best

There was an issue getting into the cabin when we arrived and it took 30 minutes to get the on call person to respond to the answering service... And it was freaking cold. The "hot" tub never got warmer than lukewarm. The bed was oversized for the bedroom. Just using a frame that didn't have posts would be an improvement. You have to squeeze between the post and the closet. The TV in the living room leans forward like it's about to fall off it's fixture. It works as just a place to sleep if you're going to go sight seeing etc. However, being that it was our honeymoon and my husband is recovering from heart surgery, we spent most of our time in the cabin. It's not awful, just not impressive either.

Cabin was very cute, clean. Only issue was the directions were kind of confusing and i think it’s because some of the road signs were turned the wrong way because of the wind lol. So not their fault
