The unit itself sits in a fantastic spot — beach access is just steps away, which was a huge plus traveling with small children. We also appreciated that this section of the beach has a cap on how many people can be there at once; it made a big difference for a family with kids. Restaurants were close enough to walk or take a short drive to, which was a lifesaver after long beach days with exhausted children.Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by a pest issue that management handled poorly from start to finish. We arrived after a long drive with kids to find ants in the unit. That alone wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker, but it took about 12 hours for anyone to respond, forcing us to go back out that same night to buy ant traps ourselves.Once someone finally came to set traps, there was no follow-up to confirm the issue was resolved — and it wasn’t. We found ants throughout the pantry and eventually couldn’t leave any food out, even in sealed containers. When we reached out again, we were told pest control would be sent out, but no one ever showed up, and again, no one followed up. The lack of communication was by far the most frustrating part — we were left to manage the problem on our own. When we started seeing roaches, we made the decision to leave early. The location and amenities are genuinely great, but the property management’s handling of a basic pest issue — and repeated failure to follow up — made it hard to enjoy the stay. I’d think twice before bo
