We enjoyed our stay at the front porch. Nice older house with Andy memorabilia. Bed were very comfortable and house was clean. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main downtown area. Good place to stay if you want to be in walking distance of the downtown area. area

Clean and convenient to Mayberry attractions. I enjoy the desk and chair in the master bedroom with plenty of space to spread out. We were too busy to enjoy the quaint front porch swing but it's very inviting.

The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our daughters had sent an edible arrangement that arrived earlier than it was supposed to and the hosts were able to put it in the refrigerator for us. So thankful for their thoughtfulness. Very nice place that I would use again if we come back

Anthony and Donna were great to work with. The location was awesome as it was near to downtown, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed it all and after a day of exploring, we took full of advantage of 'front porch sitting' and relaxing. The beds were the most comfortable of any we have slept on in other vacation rentals. Highly recommend this location.

We had a great stay! There was a leak in the main water line just before our arrival, and the host did a great job keeping us updated, and even left several gallons of water for us in case the water was out when we arrived. The house was exactly as advertised, and we had a wonderful trip.

The house was beautiful very comfy. Walking around the town was wonderful and would definitely do again . The narrow roads and closeness of the homes was strange to us but still a great weekend trip

This house was pristine and the decor was really great featuring many pictures related to Mayberry RFD. Especially loved the “Christmas” tree decorated for the Fall. The beds were super comfortable. My daughter and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch after dinner enjoying ice cream and the very comfortable chairs. The house is located near to all the attractions. Recommend the trolley ride around Town because it allowed us to learn more about the sites than we would have on our own. The host Anthony was very accessible and really helped to make our stay more enjoyable. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a very nice stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was comfortable. We are a family of 6 and I do think the house was better suited for a family of 4 or less because we couldn’t sit in the kitchen together. The pull out couch was also a little run down, but our kids slept fine there. We really enjoyed being able to show them some episodes of the Andy Griffith show, also. If we ever visit the area again we would return here.

We’re glad your family enjoyed the home, quiet neighborhood, and The Andy Griffith Show! Our listing and photos clearly show that the home has two bedrooms with two beds, along with a sleeper sofa, and the kitchen seating for four is shown in multiple listing photos. We encourage guests to carefully review the property details and photos prior to booking to ensure the home is a good fit for their group. We appreciate your stay.

We had a very nice stay at the Mayberry Front Porch. It was clean and convenient to downtown Mt. Airy. We enjoyed the extras, like the desk area in the main bedroom and the special recliner in the living room. The kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed. We were busy with activities but it was a nice respite at the end of the day.

This lovely home is well located for all sights in the Mt. Airy/ Mayberry, NC area. The host could not have been nicer. Spent a week with my son & his wife during August 2026. The central A/C was a god send. We had a great time with "Andy Griffith related" activities, breweries and wineries. Angry Troll was out favorite brewery, and our favorite wineries were Round Peak and Serre. They have live music on the weekends. We also liked Barney's for lunch; great grilled cheese & potato salad. An outstanding rental, in a wonderful town!
