Very nice stay in Poipu area. Appreciated the beach equipment and amenities and plenty of fans to help move the air around at night. Kitchen had plenty of what we needed for light meals. Short (6-10 min) walk to beaches.

Great spot and kind hosts. Who welcomed us with chocolate and the fans at full blast. Some very small areas that were not fully clean but the host more than made it right by covering our lunch. The whole area is very nice, ample parking, and a lovely pool. Would stay again if we come back to Kauai.

We loved our time in Poipu! The condo was spacious, clean and well stocked with beach chairs etc. The pool was nice, particularly at sunset and we loved having access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club! Our hosts were very responsive and even arranged for an early check in on short notice.

Excellent communication from the host and amazing location! The unit is within walking distance from Poipu Beach, has a private lanai (definitely sets this unit apart from most other units on the property), and is a short drive from several shops and restaurants. Please be aware there is no AC which was very uncomfortableour first night as the humiditywas quite high. There are several fans provided which were life savers. The walls and front door have screens with shutters to aid with airflow but does limit the privacy. Additionally, there was undisclosed surveillance which was unnerving to discover on our last morning there. We were utilizing the sliding screen door to aid with needed airflow due to no AC and the next morning we received a letter on the front door saying we weren't allowed to do that. Unknown if the surveillance was via a hidden camera or a human security guard walking through the lanai during the night. Having access to the beach accessories in the closet was wonderful! There is only one snorkel set though (and the strap on the mask is worn out and may only work for a male), so pack your own or rent locally. The unit also comes with access to two pools and a hot tub which were very nice. So if no AC isn't a deal breaker for you, I highly recommend this property! Maybe just ask what surveillance/security is in place so you're aware up front.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the location, private lanai, easy walk to Poipu Beach, beach gear, pools and hot tub. We also truly appreciate your kind words about our communication. We want to clarify one point regarding security. There are no surveillance cameras or hidden cameras at our condo. As part of our HOA’s overall security efforts, security personnel occasionally walk through the property and common areas. For the safety and security of our guests and the unit, we do ask that the lanai doors be secured at night. Your comments have made us realize that we should communicate this more clearly to future guests, and we will do so. Thank you as well for letting us know about the condition of the snorkel gear. We will have the worn equipment replaced. We take guest feedback very seriously and are always looking for ways to improve the experience. We’re especially pleased that, despite the warmer and more humid evening, you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay and would highly recommend our property. Mahalo for staying with us and for taking the time to share such helpful feedback.

Great condo in nice community

This property is located within a five minute walk to Brenneke's Beach. It is very clean and stocked with all amenities which makes for an enjoyable stay. The community is quiet and the grounds are amazingly clean and well kept. Plenty of covered parking right within 40 feet of the front door. Access to the Poipu Athletic Club is a nice bonus. What I was impressed with the most is how the management responded immediately to all questions. I would highly recommend this condo for a couple looking for a great escape.

Condo was a little hard to locate as it was dark by the time we got our rental car. No one's fault. Condo has a nice layout and plenty of room for us 2. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio, and it was a short walk to the swimming pool which was very nice. We checked out the swim club the first day and planned on staying there after our 10 am checkout until our 9:30 pm return flight. But it rained - hard! so we never got to use the facilities. Location was close to our favorite - Poipu Beach and Keoki's Paradise restaurant in the shopping plaza. There were minor issues we encountered. Outside noise level varied with renters close by. Would have liked some direction on operating TV. Condo was a little "tired" and could use small touches like a box of kleenex, kitchen and bathroom soap dispensers that worked and weren't "gerryrigged", and clean bathroom throw rugs. Huge plus was the contact with owners before we arrived since my I phone wasn't consistently working. They provided ease of mind by giving me necessary info to enter earlier than usual to alleviate stress for us. We would recommend this property.

We stayed at Patsy and Bruce’s condo for five nights and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the community’s ocean-view swimming pool and one of the island’s best beaches. There’s plenty of convenient parking nearby, covered by beautiful flowering plants, just steps from the condo. The condo itself is spotless and tastefully decorated, with a lovely private patio that’s perfect for enjoying breakfast or dinner. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, including towels, dishes, and more, truly a home away from home. What made our stay especially memorable, though, were the hosts, Patsy and Bruce. Not only were they extremely responsive and helpful with tips and information, but they also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. For example, while we’re used to seeing a locked “owner’s closet” at other rentals, Patsy and Bruce generously let us use theirs, complete with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and other beach essentials. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly at home.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting the island!

Everything was wonderful and hosts were great w communication and were very accommodating. My only negative was that I didn’t notice that unit does not have AC so in the summer, for people from Seattle it was a bit uncomfortable. But I purchased extra fans and hosts reimbursed me - they couldn’t have been better. And the athletic club was really nice and has a great pool which was a nice perk and condo is walking distance to the beach, which was amazing! Unit also has everything you would need! Great experience overall

Nice Condo for a reasonable price

The property is in a great location. They have everything you need in the condo for a stay on the island. They have all the amenities and some extras. We were pleased to find some nice beach chairs and bags that you could use for the beach or a day of exploration on the island. The kitchen is fully stocked of items that you may need/want to cook meals or stay in for the night. It was a quick walk to the beach where we had better luck seeing wildlife (turtles, fish and monk seals) than we did on our paid day trip, snorkeling. It is close to some shops and restaurants, but if you decide to go to a grocery store to get some supplies for the week, make the trip to the nice grocery store. The one that is close by is not very nice and much more expensive. We had a great time and the condo was a just what we wanted/needed. I would recommend it to anyone who is vacationing and wants to be in a nice area and within a decent driving distance to most of the major sites.

Great location, beautiful condo

Everything about our experience staying in this condo was A+. The communication with the hosts from the moment I booked it through check out was prompt, helpful, and friendly. The location couldn't be better, just steps away to the best part of Poipu beach and the perfect landing spot after adventuring to different parts of the south shore. The condo had every thing that you could want to make your stay relaxing and convenient. I loved that there was a britta filter in the fridge so I didn't have to buy tons of water bottles and waste all that plastic. There were all the beach recreation and chairs available you would want, a full stocked kitchen, and bathroom with extra soaps, etc. The bed was comfortable, the TV had all the smart channels, making it easy to watch, and the lanai was a comfortable place to hang out to eat breakfast or read. The condo was beautifully decorated, you can tell a lot of love went into it to make it a special place for guests. Also, we rented their car through Turo which I would inquire about and take advantage of as it was the same great experience. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
