Breathtaking mtn views. Indoor pool & hot tub

We agree the check‑in process is extremely easy and the views are truly exceptional. It is unfortunate that you chose not to read the welcome materials explaining how towel service works, and likewise arrived with expectations that were nothing like what we clearly advertise. 1. A three‑star rating is a poor reflection of a property that delivered exactly what was advertised. The room sizes listed on the site are accurate, and on several booking platforms I include the exact room dimensions so guests know precisely what to expect before booking. Nothing about the layout or size differed from what was shown. At 950 square feet, this home offers significantly more space than a typical hotel room at a similar price point. Standard hotel rooms are often 150–300 square feet, and even many “suites” fall in the 300–450 square‑foot range—still less than half the space provided here. I doubt you could find anything comparable to 950 square feet in a hotel suite at even double the price. The value and space offered here far exceed what most travelers would receive in a similarly priced hotel stay. 2. Regarding towels, this is a short‑term rental, not a hotel. Guests are renting an entire home, not a staffed hotel room with daily housekeeping. We provide clear, written documentation in the welcome materials explaining exactly how to request towel service if needed. It is an optional, paid service, which is standard for STRs. Washing towels in the home is normal for vacation rentals, and many guests prefer it. It is not reasonable to penalize the property because the guest chose not to read the information provided. The instructions were available from the moment they checked in, and the process for requesting fresh towels was fully outlined. A lack of attention to the provided materials is not a property issue. 3. I am truly sorry your grandson had a medical emergency. I hope he is doing well. That said, personal emergencies unrelated to the property do not reflect the quality of the stay, and I am not sure why that situation was included as part of a negative review.

There are four doors in the condo, and all were functioning when I was there doing maintenance a couple of weeks before this stay. I’ll have them checked again to make sure everything is still operating properly. It’s surprising that something such as a door closing would lead to your claiming the accuracy of the listing is not accurate

Thank you for the great review. I’m glad the condo was clean, comfortable, and a fun place for your family to unwind. The indoor pool is always a hit at night, and it sounds like your kids really enjoyed it. Seeing a momma bear and her cubs is a memorable Smoky Mountains moment. Bears are very common around my properties — honestly, if someone spent a couple of hours outside looking, I’d say there’s about a 50/50 chance of spotting one. You did exactly the right thing by keeping everything picked up, and that’s why the bears didn’t bother anything. When guests follow those simple guidelines, the wildlife stays wild and everyone stays safe. I’m happy your stay was both relaxing and exciting, and I hope to welcome you back.
