Welcome to Sunset Crush, a beautifully restored bayfront conch house where some of the most breathtaking sunsets in the Florida Keys unfold right before your eyes. This special home captures the soul of island living—where time slows down, the colors of the sky steal the show, and everyday moments become lasting memories.

Set along the bay in Tavernier, Sunset Crush offers stunning water views both day and night. Spend your mornings swaying in the hammock with salty breezes, your afternoons watching wildlife glide past the shoreline, and your evenings soaking in vivid sunset skies reflected across the water. Inside, a wall of picture windows frames the bay, filling the home with natural light and ever-changing scenery.

Lovingly refinished, this historic conch house blends classic Keys charm with modern comfort. Wood-planked ceilings, a lofted nook, and a clawfoot tub nod to its heritage, while updated flooring, refreshed bathrooms, quartz countertops, and modern fixtures provide easy, comfortable living. The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together seamlessly, creating an inviting space for gathering and relaxation.

The home features three well-appointed bedrooms, a bonus room, and two and a half bathrooms, offering plenty of space for families or groups. The primary suite includes an attached bath, while additional bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements for guests. A separate laundry room adds convenience for longer stays.

Outdoors, the experience has been elevated with a newly added private heated pool, set within the tropical backyard and designed for relaxing after a day on the water or cooling off beneath the island sun. Lounge poolside, enjoy the bay breezes, or transition easily from pool to hammock to sunset views.

For outdoor adventure, onsite kayaks are available so you can explore nearby mangroves and shoreline, where manatees, nurse sharks, and other local wildlife are often spotted. Centrally located between Key Largo and Islamorada, Sunset Crush places you close to fishing charters, snorkeling and diving, boating, dining, and classic Florida Keys experiences.

The place was very clean and right on the water. There was an abundance of wildlife even right there in town. Snorkeling was great right from the boat ramp. Plenty of things to do both on the property and nearby. The pool was fantastic. If I had to list anything that was a little less than 5 stars, it’s this: (1) There were no adult kayaks like pictured in the photos. No problem though, as there was plenty to do. (2) No fault of the property owners/host, but Florida is home to plenty of flies that are able to get inside somehow. (3) You have to walk outside the fenced area to get to the pool. Again, not a problem or anything that should alter your decision to stay here. Ultimately, the property and host was nothing short of wonderful. It really made our vacation very much enjoyable and we will absolutely stay here again. Side note: try not to swim in the bay at night unless you’re ready to share the water with crocodiles. :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Crush. It was a great location to enjoy various activities in the northern keys. Our family gathered here from different locations on the East coast for a vacation, and there was plenty of room for our needs. We really enjoyed being on the water. The sunset views were beautiful! We enjoyed using the provided kayaks to go exploring, and spotted various marine life in the cove including a small nurse shark the day we arrived, and a mother and baby manatee later in the week. We also spent many hours in the pool and appreciated being able to bring our daughter’s dog. Sunset Crush is a hidden gem.

Great Family Fishing

Took my sons for a boys only fishing trip and this place was perfect. Had everything we needed and great location. We already planning a trip to come back with rest of the family!

Claw tub disconnected and should have been fixed before we got there. Kitchen cabinet door broken before we got there, again should have been fixed. Living room shades missing many slats and should have been fixed before we got there. Outside lawn furniture should have been cleaned. Kayaks were unusable due to being filthy and stored too close to the ground.

Nice house with everything you need (great A/C!) The view is beautiful and the small lagoon in front was perfect for our boat—-Although it wasn’t finished while we were there, a pool is being installed which will make it that much better!

Peaceful beautiful place

This place was exactly as described. It was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. It's close to activities but private and quiet when you come home. Everyone enjoyed it very much!

Spring break in paradise

We had a good time. Took a minute to get wifi working. But it worked. Water heater sprang a leak . By that night we had a new water heater . Location was great. Caught some fish out back. Great views. Thank you to all that made this stay possible.

A beautiful property in a wonderful location

This was our second stay at this location, and it is still a wonderful property. As mentioned in my previous review, the hone is very comfortable and very nicely decorated, the views are spectacular, and the home is located in a great area near many good restaurants. The owners have provided kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, and other items to help you enjoy your stay, and if you are a boater you are very close to Tavernier creek, for easy access to the Atlantic. Overall highly recommended!

Absolutely beautful

Honestly, I don’t want to tell anyone how much we enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful. We were greeted our first night in the house with a beautiful sunset and a dolphin feeding in the cove. For many properties, the pictures show an optimistic view of the property, but not with this house. It is every bit as beautiful as you see in the pictures, and the pictures don’t do justice to the view from the home. The house is recently renovated and looks professionally decorated in a beachy vibe. The house is very well stocked for a long-term stay. The cookware is all new, including pots and pans, knives, silverware, baking sheets, etc. The owners seemed to have thought about every need in advance. The appliances all seem new and are very nice. The owners took many small steps to ensure you have what you need, including many small touches. There are 4 kayaks available along with a selection of life jackets, as well as beach chairs and a few fishing rods. The house is well designed to take advantage of the beautiful view. All of the living spaces with the exception of the 4th bedroom have a beautiful view of the water and the sunsets. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closet space and dresser space. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, and one bedroom had a video game console. There are two full baths and an additional half bath, all convenient to the three primary bedrooms. My wife and I were both working remotely and on video conferences all day, with no issues. The Property Manger, Drew, was excellent. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was professionally cleaned before we arrived and was spotless. I have stayed at a number of properties and have never seen this level of service before. One item of note: The 4th bedroom, which is shown having a large desk, is actually the primary entrance to the house from the parking area. This is almost like a fully enclosed lanai or Florida room. In the pictures the desk is shown on the wall where the bunkbeds are now, and the desk is on the other wall. This section is not refinished like the other areas of the house. This wasn’t any type of issue for us, and we actually used this area for storage, but if you were counting on four bedrooms, recognize this area is different than the other bedrooms shown so that you aren’t disappointed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property.
