Nestled at the very tip of Somerset on a private dead-end road, this coastal waterfront home is the perfect place for a family retreat, romantic getaway or friends seeking adventure

Marvel at the panoramic views and dramatic colors from Sunrise to Sunset.

From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by an open foyer and breathtaking views of the water and surrounding landscape. Our home has been fully renovated with vacation renters in mind, and each room has been individually addressed and professionally decorated to offer a truly unique experience.

Relax in the comfortable seating areas while taking in the beauty of the panoramic views from our South-facing home, and witness dramatic colors from sunrise to sunset. Step outside and enjoy a warm beverage from our expansive wrap-around porch, or take a stroll around the private dead-end road in our friendly neighborhood where many families have lived for generations.

Our spa-like bathrooms, one on each floor, feature modern fixtures, high-end finishes, and indulgent amenities such as multi-pivoting, multi-setting body jets, and overhead rain showers. Unwind and rejuvenate in our private 2 person sauna designed to provide a blissful escape while the large windows offer breathtaking views of the natural beauty of waterfront living. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare delicious meals with family and friends. And with multiple dining areas, including an outdoor flat top griddle, dining table, and gazebo with a bar counter, you'll have plenty of options for enjoying meals or drinks with a view.

When it's time to retire for the night, you'll find peaceful retreats in each of our bedrooms. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep on plush beds with wonderful linens, blackout curtains, and wake up to the sounds of the water lapping at the shore.

Explore the waters with our kayaks or take a leisurely stroll along the private pebble beach. Perfect for Beachcombing, finding unique pebbles, shells, and other natural treasures along the shoreline. The beach is NOT recommended for Swimming due to no safety precautions such as safety nets or lifeguards on duty.

Gary was the ultimate host. He met us when we arrived, showed us around the house, pointing out how various items worked and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely contact Gary if we decide to go to Cape Cod gain in the future. And will definitely recommend him to anyone we may know traveling to Cape Cod.And, the location was perfect. It was so very relaxing after spending the day touring different cities to come home, take glass of wine, and sit on the porch watching the water and the boats sailing by.

The property was very thoughfully put together and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were great! If the weather had been better, we would have used the outdoor eating area, fire pit and pool. There is foosball and air hockey in the basement, which was good for rainy weather. There is also a good selection of toys and games for all ages. The wrap-around porch is a delight, right on the bay.Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay, and Gary was a very responsive host. One of highlights of weekend was a dinner prepared by Sydney McClymonds, chef of SM Private Chef & Caterining. Working with Sydney to plan the menu was incredibly easy, and she made a delicious, memorable meal that we all enjoyed! Highly, highly recommend!

Family Visit

Spotless!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen. We have stayed in numerous homes and this was the cleanest with nice attention to detail. Communication with the host was great with very easy check in and out. We will definitely be renting again when we are in the area!

Excellent stay!

Gary was a truly gracious host. The house is beautiful and very clean. There are so many amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable including the upgrades to the bathrooms. The pool was perfect to cool down after the heat wave that hit and the hot tub was amazing as well. The kitchen has everything anyone would need to make meals while enjoying your stay. We will definitely stay again in the future! The view is pretty great too. Thank you, Gary!

My friends and I had an amazing stay in this home! I had booked it as a weekend trip for my group and this home exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was warm and welcoming making check-in and communication effortless. The waterfront view was an amazing sight to wake up to. The host recommended restaurants and activities were exactly the kind of fun we were looking for. College Friends Retreat

My college friends and I get together annually for a much needed get away. This year we picked Somerset, MA. This place caught our eyes with the promised water views. This place didn't let us down. The pictures don't do it justice and we can't wait to return.

Great view and great house

My wife and I stayed here with our two small children and absolutely loved it. The house was clean and comfortable and the host was extremely thoughtful and responsive. And the view of the water from the living room was gorgeous! We definitely want to stay here again in the future. The location is also great. Whether you want to take a day trip to Boston, or go to Newport, or Providence the house is conveniently located near the highway making it easy to get to multiple places. Route 6 is also close by if you want to make a quick Target run.The hot tub and sauna were nice amenities!

Fabulous vacation home!

The home was exactly as described. Every detail was thought of and it was the best vacation home we have stayed in, from the comfort of the beds, to the well appointed kitchen, and the hot tub, pool, and board games. Gary communicated with us throughout the booking process, check in, and during our stay making sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this home. It was conveniently located to Fall River, about 1/2 an hour from Newport, and we drove in to Boston twice during our stay. A great central location.

A Truly Wondeful Experience!

There is not enough space to write all the good things about staying at this property. From the host, Gary, who is not only attentive, but thought and super professional to the cleanliness and amenities of the property, this is truly a gem. So often a “beautiful water view” is described, but this is the first time the view was BETTER than described. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. There should be no hesitation to book at this property.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house is beyond exceptional! Immaculate and just beautifully decorated. It has all the amenities you can possibly imagine pool hot tub sauna Lakeview! Our house was absolutely phenomenal with his communication and he was very attentive to our needs. Can’t wait to go back now in the summer.

AWESOME STAY!!

Gary’s home is so beautiful! The view of the sunset over the water was absolutely stunning. We stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this one was set up perfectly! No detail was missed, and so many little details added. Location is at the end of a point right on the water with expansive views, but you’re still so close to everything. We were visiting family in the area and will definitely be back to this gorgeous home! Highly recommend!!!

Family friendly

My west coast family stayed at Gary’s property to meet my new great grandson. We had a memorable time. The property had everything you could need. We loved the above ground pool and the jacuzzi. My son~in-law really liked the sauna. Gary was extremely attentive, even if it was a small matter. Gary is a great guy and aims to please. We would definitely return.

Friends Weekend Away

The house was exactly as listed and had everything you need. Gary was a great host. He checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything. He even had a book of the area to help you find places to go and eat. I would highly recommend his house and would definitely return here again. Thanks again Gary we had a wonderful time. John

Heart of Somerset

The house was a recent total renovation and is beautiful. with new appliances, IT, grill and great showers! Beautiful water view from wrap-around porch. Air Hockey, Foos Ball in basement and nice yard for lawn games. Unfortunately area beaches closed due to rain and bacteria but museums, Battleship Cove and Newport are short drives. Host is very accessible and works to meet quests needs.

Me taking several months to do a full remodel was a labor of love and happy it reflects that to my guests. I'm sorry the several rainstorms prior to your stay closed down the beaches, but I am happy to hear that other local attractions were able to make up for it. Would give 10 stars if we could

This place is absolutely fantastic. The host thought of absolutely everything. Even waters in the refrigeratr! Everything is modern, well taken care of, and beautifully decorated. The showers are amazing! The view, spectacular. Location- central to all kinds of fun places. The best part was the host! Unbelievably accommodating. We mentioned a few “nice to have” ideas to him and he offered to bring them that day. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Heart of Somerset was a true home away from home

5 stars all the way, beautiful property with over the top amenities. The highlight though was Gary and the care he showed as a host, we were welcomed with gifts as soon as we entered and immediately felt at home. Gary has the place stocked with everything one would need for a trip, we really only needed our clothes and food and drink for our stay, he put great effort into supplying all the other comforts of home, we didn't want to leave when it was time and we will definitely be looking out for availability for our next trip up that way, truly a home away from home and the breeze coming off the water was great at night while sitting on the front porch listening to the waves lapping upon the beach. Thanks again from all of us Gary, couldn't ask for a better experience!

Family Vacation

Gary is a wonderful host and his home is beautiful! He is very thoughtful and remembered to add details to his home .. kayaks, life jackets , locally made necklaces coffee bar and refrigerator in the master as well as a sauna. He also made arrangements for a chef to cook for us one night. This location is an hour from Boston or Newport and Block Island Ferry. Private access to a beach was right across the street. The porch was huge with plenty of seating. Gary was extremely easy to communicate with, very kind and quick to respond. We would absolutely love to stay at Heart of Somerset again!!!!
