03/24/25: BUILDING NOTICE: The entire recreation deck, including the pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area, will be closed for extensive renovations beginning sometime in April and throughout 2025 and into 2026 (12-16 months project).

ENHANCED PROTOCOLS : We have revised our protocols to include contactless check-in & check-out, professional EPA approved non-toxic undetectable antimicrobial electrostatic spray treatment which continues to kill newly introduced viruses and germs on surfaces, enhanced cleaning and sanitization, and laundry is professionally cleaned and sanitized off-site.

Great location, comfortable condo

Great spot in the heart of Waikiki. Condo was clean, secure and stocked with everything we needed. Parking was included and easy. We'd stay here again.

Nice place in the heart of waikiki

Clean and close to everything you need. The elevators were kind of a pain. Pool area definitely needs some work but we didn’t really use it because the beach is such a short distance away.

Great condo for a visit to Oahu

We loved our stay here. The condo was clean, check-in was easy. The view from the balcony of the mountains and Diamond Head was amazing. It is located about a block from the ocean, an easy walk with many restaurants, stores, etc. along the way.

A gem in Waikiki

We traveled to Hawaii for the first time with our 3 year old. Our place was clean, kid- friendly and the so convenient with a full kitchen. Will definitely recommend!

Waikiki Banyan

This property was a good fit for our family. It was nice and quiet with everything we needed for our stay. Parking and recreation area for the kids were a plus.

Lovely Place

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this rental, and it was plenty of room for our family of 4. Location was great, and pool / park was ideal for young kids. Kitchen faucet was a little wobbly, and we set off smoke alarm a couple of times due to the vent on stove top not working properly. Otherwise, everything was great.

Nicely renovated in an excellent location

This was our 5th stay at the Waikiki Banyan. This was by far, the nicest room we have stayed in at this property. It is nicely remodeled and clean. The location is great- walking distance to the beach and food. Parking and the "resort fee" are included in the rental fee. The Waikiki Banyan property can use a little updating itself. The lobby is fine but the hallways could use updated lighting and new paint. We received a noise complaint from the folks in the unit under us which we found very odd. We were not making any noise. I do have a heavy footed 2 year old.. but complaining about a toddler walking around seems petty. I would recommend booking this unit if you are planning on traveling to Oahu and want to stay in Waikiki. Its a nicely renovated place in an excellent location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had stayed at this property before using another Rental Site, and I’ll tell you I’m sticking with Ali’i Rentals. Very easy to communicate and get your questions answered on a timely manner. Did I mention that their fees are way less? Unit on 16th floor Mountain View was amazing, super clean, well stocked and beds were very comfy. I will definitely rent this unit and recommended to friends and family. Mahalo!!

Nice Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this condo while we were dropping our son off at University of Hawaii. It had plenty of space for the 3 of us and free parking! The spots in the lot are tight, but conveniently located. The bathroom has a bidet and a heated seat which was a nice touch. It is conveniently located close to downtown and Waikiki beach. There are 2 Starbucks nearby as well. Upon check in, the provided key code did not work, however, after calling the company, the issue was quickly resolved. The only downside is that when renting through a 3rd party, the hotel itself does not help you since you are not considered one of their clients/customers.

Our friends in other units had this complimentary in theirs. Elevators were definitely slow as noted in other reviews by other guests. Didn't think it would bother us that much until you're actually there and waiting over 15 minutes to get into an elevator. Overall great experience.

5/17 Stay

The property was clean, comfortable, quiet and the check-in/check-out process was easy. There were several appliances not included. I.E., hair dyer, coffee maker, etc.. but no biggie. The only real recommendation that I have is to make the check-out time 11am VS. 10:30am. Over the years, check out times have gotten earlier. Travelers need to push back on this as it decreases value and it's inconvenient.

Waikiki

Stayed at this rental property for 7 nights. Looks exactly like the picture. Room is clean. Entry door access uses a code which is very convenient when you have multiple persons staying making it easy to go in and out. Very close to beach. Beds are good. Pullout sofa sleeper not so comfortable. Clean towels and sheets. Not enough beach towels. No broom to keep room sand free. I'm a very clean person, so this was a problem for me. The poket door to bathroom was not opening properly and maintenance said it needed to be rebuilt, so we had no closing door to restroom. This would be my only problem with this stay. Otherwise, great place. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Vacation Rental!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dear Alii Beach Rentals~ The listing of the unit said that it was a newly acquired rental. Turns out that we were the first to rent this unit. Unfortunately, there were a few things amiss when we first checked in. There was no info on Wi-Fi name & password. The TV cable was not connected. A handful of appliances & supplies were missing. However, after a couple of calls to the rental office, all of these things were provided/ delivered & connected. We appreciated Chika (office) & Dave (maintenance). Both were professional & efficient! Thanks to them, the rest of our vacation went on without a hitch! The security guards were pleasant & very helpful. Parking structure is pretty tight, but there is parking for everyone. The condo was very clean & nicely decorated. Not one cockroach in 11 days! Once we received all the missing items that were listed for the condo, the condo was perfect. The location of the condo was absolutely perfect! Easy, quick access to the beach, shopping malls, markets & freeway. As long as the sliders were closed, we barely heard any street and/or siren noise. Here are a few suggestions to make Unit #1605 even more perfect... The lanai slider needs work, very difficult to open! Might want to think of replacing the metal counter stools. They are too high & very uncomfortable. The ?raffia? ottomans were a bit flimsy for adult use. Every time we touched/moved them, there would be little white beads/ pieces all over the floor/rug. Having a broom & a dustpan in the unit would have helped. We bought a Japanese broom from Longs. The fridge is not level. We had to make sure to hold on to the door so it wouldn’t hit the wall. Another ice tray and container for the ice would be nice. Bottom line: Because of the quick actions of your staffers, Chika & Dave, we are extremely pleased with our stay & would definitely come back to stay in #1605 again! Aloha & Mahalo nui!

Definitely Stay Here Again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a very convenient spot to stay in Waikiki and having a car space to park it allowed us to have the flexibility to explore the whole island and have a very comfortable home base to comeback to. We took great use of the beach chairs and boogie boards that the property provided. And having a fridge and kitchen to prepare snacks and meals was super convenient as well. All this at a fraction of the cost of the other hotels around make it a must stay. Hawai’i is a good jumping off point for us when we go to the states to visit family and will certainly be coming back and staying here again!

Cozy and nice place to stay

Highly recommend the property, we loved our stay there. The apartment is remodeled, clean and cozy, you can tell that host is taking care of his guests. The kitchen is fully occupied and has everything you need. Nice location, easy and quick communication
