Had an excellent weekend and had everything we needed. The back porch area was my most favorite place. I enjoyed watching it rain from the swing.

This was the perfect getaway for my little family!!! The cabin was exactly what we needed, and we honestly did not want to leave. We loved the cabin, the area, and being tucked away in the woods while still being close enough to everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every night and waking up each morning to sit on the amazing screened-in back porch swing (my favorite part) with a cup of coffee. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and spend time together as a family, We will absolutely be back! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place with us!

The cabin is nice with a rustic feel. The cabin was clean and fairly well maintained. The kitchen had all the utensils and supplies we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

Place was fabulous. Had some challenges figuring out how to work the heat, other than that it was spectacular. Great property!!

What a great place

Everything about this cabin in top notch.. Quiet place to hang out but close enough that you can do both go out or stay on site..I will be trying to rent again

Easily accessed with given address. Property clean inside and out. Only opportunities for improvement would be to clean off the windows, as some windows were nearly completely obstructed by spiderwebs, and there was no dishwasher detergent in the cabin. This was communicated with the property owner on the first day. Despite several communications with the owner, this had not been rectified by the fourth day of the stay.

Hey Phillip, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the cabin clean inside and out and easily accessible. To provide a little context for future guests, the spiderwebs mentioned were on the exterior of the windows, including areas that require ladder access. Our housekeeping team does not perform ladder work during routine turnovers, and because this is a cabin surrounded by woods and nature, spiders unfortunately don’t always wait for our exterior maintenance schedule before rebuilding their webs. We also apologize that the dishwasher pods had run out. We did receive the request and attempted to have additional pods delivered, but our cleaners were unable to make a special trip to the cabin as quickly as requested. We understand that having to wash dishes by hand temporarily was an inconvenience. We certainly wish those two relatively minor issues had been resolved quickly enough to make an otherwise clean, accessible property worthy of more than three stars, but we appreciate the feedback nonetheless. We’ll be keeping an even closer eye on dishwasher supplies going forward. We will also do our best to stay one step ahead of the local spiders as well. Thank you for staying with us.

Relaxing stay!

We visited with family and had a very relaxing time playing cards and sitting by the fire. We had everything needed for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the comforts of home.

Family vacation

This cabin is amazing!!! Beautiful, clean and close enough to everything . Rob was really easy to deal with and responded quick to any questions. We will be back!!! Rent this cabin..you will love it!

Thanksgiving week get away

Great stay. Cabin is nice and met our needs. Located in a quiet community of a few cabins. Not on a creek but river was a short walk away. Cabin had nice accommodations but kitchen cooking utensils and pans were very limited. Overall a great place to rest and relax. Would come again.

Awesome place!

First of all, this property is breathtaking. I love it’s location and that it isn’t super busy! It’s conveniently located near grocery stores and gas stations. Helen wasn’t a far drive at all and the scenery on the way in to Helen was stunning. Definitely would recommend this place to stay if you’re looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The jacuzzi was awesome and well maintained and much needed. It’s in the back deck which is screened in! So no bugs! I will definitely stay again in the future. I have new memories with my family and I sure do hope you all will as well.

Beautiful Modern Cabin

My husband and I just stayed at this modern cabin with our golden retriever! The location, while not extremely secluded, was very private, clean and had modern updates in the kitchen, rainfall shower heads and digital thermostats. The cabin had most of the items you would need for your stay and there were a few quirks that might bother other renters but certainly didn’t ruin our stay. The property is surrounded by rocks and dirt so our golden paws were a little tender after being outside with no designated grassy areas. If you are someone who likes to unpack your clothing for your stay just know, there are no closets, drawers etc in the bedrooms for this. The neighborhood was centrally located to great restaurants, wineries and hiking and the area was beautiful! Great family spot to vacation :)

The house was good overall. We stayed there with our two kids and were hoping to use the jacuzzi but the smell of the chlorine was overwhelming to the point we were coughing and it was irritating our eyes just sitting at the table so we decided not to use it. The house was clean and spacious. There weren’t any closets so we couldn’t hang up items but we adjusted. The house is about a mile and a half down dirt roads so we saw lots of deer at night which was fun for our kids and it definitely felt like it was secluded and private. The walls are interesting in the fact that they are wooden boards that do not connect so you can see right through the cracks to the main bedroom downstairs near the kitchen and into the bathroom from the main bedroom. It was fine for us because we were our small family but something to note if you’re staying with others and need more privacy. It was nice having a bug screen on the patio and sitting out there in the mornings was very quiet and peaceful.

We had a very nice stay at Peaceful Bear Cabin near Demorest, GA. The location is great for hiking and wineries outside of Helen. Also found a couple restaurants nearby that we may never have tried if we were in Helen. Community Brew and Tap and Hush Cuban Restaurant were both delicious! The cabin itself had everything we were looking for - quiet location with hot tub and dog friendly. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only complaint is the kitchen could be better stocked. As an example - there were 6 of us, but only 5 large plates. We made do with lots of dish washing!

Absolutely loved this place! Take the driveway low and slow and enjoy the trip. Cabin was beautiful! We loved being able to have the guys playing pool while we drank wine and cooked dinner while still being able to be in the same space! Or us ladies in the hot tub while the guys grilled out next to us. Perfect weekend getaway!

Good combo of Modern & Rustic

We had a birthday girls trip here to visit Helen, GA and Brasstown Bald. Cabin is off the beaten path, but close enough to town and restaurants for emergencies. Cabin is a good combo of modern and rustic. Appliances are totally modern and up to date, but the cabin still contains a rustic and cozy feeling. We unfortunately didn't get to use the fire pit because it was so rainy when we arrived, but the fire pit looked cute and a great place for a bonfire. Would recommend to anyone who wants to feel secluded and woodsy without giving up the comforts of home.
