I love that we are centrally located between the two bridges for quick access to shopping or the beach, but it is quieter and more relaxing than either. Serene location with bay breezes and views and lots of wildlife. Use the sidewalk to visit the Marine Estuary and fishing pier a block away.

Beautifully appointed! Comfortable furniture, plenty of seating inside and out, and all the extra touches (charger ports, towel hooks, etc) that made everything simple. All of the listing info provided by the host was accurate, and it’s clear that this house was furnished to be enjoyed as a home away from home. Host was quick to respond when we had questions and the location felt very private. Great sidewalk for walking our dog and close to all the things we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again!

This home is perfect! It had everything we needed and more. We sat on the screen porch with coffee in the morning an listened to the birds, enjoyed the living area and did some cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. The bedrooms are lovely and beds so comfy. We would love to stay there again.Great communication w/ the host.

I stayed for a few nights on a solo Christian retreat and can’t say enough good things about the place. Comfortable, private and beautiful. You will only need to bring your clothes and food, the host provides everything you need! Location perfect and close to everything with the water directly across the street. Great restaurants are nearby and you are able to bike right from the house on a bike lane right to the fishing pier. There’s also sidewalks that lead you to the local restaurants. I heard about the Forgotten Coast from a YouTuber Peter Sentenallo who covered the area. Affordable and beautiful and can’t wait to stay again. You are close to the most untouched beaches in FL!

Exactly what we needed, and even more than we could have asked for! Very clean, stocked with all the necessities and more, and great location to both the island and Appalach. The host was super helpful both before and during our stay. We've stayed at various places through the years, but this one is a definite favorite. Perfect for us and our 3 young boys, plus my mom and sister. Definitely will be back and highly recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect.

Home away from home

Very quiet and peaceful setting, love the large screened porch. Home very clean and spacious with great stocked kitchen and enjoyed the ping pong table and corn hole with the great area underneath. Also proximity to St. George and Appalachiola was nice. Property manager very nice and helpful!

Cozy, comfy, convenient.

The location being in between St. George Island and Apalachicola is convenient. The house was clean, well appointed, and cozy. Ample seating. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely screened porch. Very quick response time from the host. No complaints.

Horrible experience.Trip was booked and paid for ahead of time. I got there and the owner knew nothing of the reservations. She said I shouldn’t have been able to book it. In the meantime I drove 4 hours with my dog. She would not give code. She remotely opened the door for me so I could use bathroom-house was a mess from last guest. It was almost dark so I got on phone with VRBO and could not find a place. When I pulled off the road to talk to VRBO and view links they sent I bogged down in my Jeep in wet sand. The police were very nice and helpful. I finally got on my way about 8 pm and got home after midnight. Not that wasn’t enough. Two weeks later-refund!I shouldn’t have to be the one doing the contacting about my refund.

Marcia, I am sorry this happened to you, but you should not have been able to book 24 hours before arriving. It was Easter Day that you booked for the following day and I never received the text from VRBO that you had made the booking although they did send an email, I never saw it as I was with family all day and evening on Easter. I have since removed my property from instant booking so this never happens to me again. I did offer another rental for you and also to have the cleaner come over and complete the job she had started, but you refused both options. If you had been a little more flexible and lyou could have had a good stay with us as we go out of our way to make our guests comfortable. I hope you have received your refund, but since you canceled last minute we did not have to refund your money. Our policy for a full refund is two weeks notice prior to cancellation, and one week for a 50% refund. I personally asked VRBO to refund your entire payment due to the misunderstanding. Again, I am sorry your trip did not turn out as expected. My sense as I spoke to you on the phone, was that you were very upset before you arrived and the complication just was the final straw.

Loved the Location

Loved that the home was centrally located between Apalachicola and St. George Island. House was very homey, lots of room, and enjoyed the wrap around porch. Well stocked kitchen and baths, also enjoyed the large shaded lot and parking underneath.

Beautiful and comfortable place!!

This is the best place we’ve stayed in the Eastpoint/Apalachicola area!! Deborah’s place is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and she is a wonderful host! We had a brief plumbing issue but she had a plumber out immediately to fix it. All correspondence with her was quick and friendly! We look forward to staying there again!!

Tranquil Memories

Wonderful vacation!

We had a great stay! The property was spotless and had everything we could want or need. The location, right between SGI and Apalachicola, was very convenient for all of the activities we wanted to do. The screened in porch was perfect, and we enjoyed walking our dog along the bay, right across the street. Our kids are already asking when we can go back, and we’re looking at dates in the fall for another visit!

I have been so lucky to have lived in this beautiful place for the last 20 years and am excited to share it with others! I hope you love it as much as I do!
I ran Island Adventures on St. George Island for many years, but sold it to my employees so i could work on the farm I inherited from my family. While you are on St. George, check it out, great bunch working there!
I grew up in the Panhandle area and spent ever summer on the beaches, swimming, boating, fishing and crabbing. It is great family fun and a wonderful get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I purchased this property after selling a couple of homes on St. George Island, because it had more land, fewer restrictions and was more private, yet right between to both St. George Island or Apalachicola. I find the setting to be ideal for relaxing and unwinding from stress.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

You will find staying here is very quiet where the main beach area can be very crowded and loud during the summer months. However if you have access to all the beach areas in about 5 minutes. It is close enough to drive guests over, come back for lunch then go back for an evening walk.
However, you may want to go to our local brewery in the evenings and share a pizza or maybe take the kids to the Estuary. The Red Pirate has wonderful seafood just down the street!
Or maybe you want to see the shops in Apalachicola or eat at the famous Owl Cafe! All just 5 minutes away!
