A very cozy and peaceful cabin in the woods of the North GA mountains. Minutes to Historic Blue Ridge with its many unique shops and restaurants. Area offers mountain hiking, canoeing, Blue Ridge Lake, & multiple water falls to explore. Area hosts Aska Recreation Area, and so much more. Also 20 minutes to the Ocoee River with white-water rafting and kayaking. Don't miss Mercier's apple orchard, It's a must see location.

-The cabin is an open concept design with a fireplace in the center and a bed in the back with a full bathroom and kitchen.

-Access to entire cabin and lower entertainment area

-Hi-Speed Wifi is available as well as a smart TV for you to sign in on your own streaming accounts.

-A rental agreement may be sent after booking to be electronically signed.

-Sorry no pets allowed, if you have a service animal please give me a courtesy heads up to find a new cleaner after your stay as my cleaner is very allergic.

-This is a small cabin community with cabins on each side.

We had a wonderful time at this great cabin location. We loved the fire place and the large kitchen area. We even used the flat top griddle outside for steaks! We indulge in the hot tub both evenings, there are neighboring cabins close by, but we still felt as though we had plenty of privacy to enjoy the evenings. We ventured into town and checked out the local arts center and stopped into a few other shops. I would definitely recommend this location and cabin to any couple looking for a retreat.

It's very nice. Cameras on the porch little weird kind of kills the romantic cabin vibe. But all and all nice cabin.

Hello Kevin, thank you for staying and taking the time to review. I wanted to point out that cameras on vacation rentals are a standard practice, just like hotels have cameras in their hallways. I also want to point out there is only 1 camera on the property and it looks at the entry steps and the front door. This is used for security purposes, interacting with guests, interacting with maintenance, informing others they are at the wrong cabin and more. We take privacy seriously and there are no cameras pointing in private areas. I hope this better explains the use of cameras and hope to have you back.

Relaxing getaway

Me and my husband spent a few days at this cabin and had a great time. Cabin was very nice and cozy. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Will definitely be back.

On Point Cabin

Have stayed in many cabins through the years. This was the most unique floor plan, on point decorating and cleanest! Perfect size for a couple’s get away. Will definitely rent again!!

Short vacation.

Loved the cabin, perfect for just the 2 of us. It was peaceful and quiet. There were 2 cabins on either side of us, but no one was staying at either of them during our stay. It was so nice to see deer come each morning. My only complaint is that for a 5 night stay, I thought we would have more than one washcloth for each of us.

Gorgeous Getaway Cabin!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Well appointed, strong Wi-Fi, nice finishes and appliances (love the fridge with ice and water - so great to fill up cups and a small cooler before we headed out each day), comfy bed and an awesome porch for morning coffee! The cabin is centrally located for trips to Blue Ridge, Ellijay and the other neighboring towns. We saw deer several times and wild turkeys right by the cabin. Great communication with Bret for the minor questions we had. We had an unbelievably wonderful time! Thank you for sharing your little slice of wooded heaven!

Cozy cabin close to Blue Ridge

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin close to Blue Ridge. The open floor plan design with gas fireplace at the center was wonderful. The fireplace can be enjoyed from both the living room side of the cabin and the bedroom side. The kitchen and bathroom are modern with very nice fixtures and finishes. The back porch is covered and had seating and flat top grill. There is a hot tub located on the lower deck that was clean and easy to use and enjoy. The cabin was very clean and check in and out were very easy. The host quickly responded to any questions we had. We had no trouble finding the cabin using GPS, and parking was easy. It was a short drive to all that Blue Ridge and surrounding area had to offer.

Sabbatical Stay

Although the pictures are what sold me, this cabin was awesome. I felt immediately at home and even better didn’t need to use my cleaning products because it smelled so clean!! The location was easy to get to and communication with the owner was quick and easy. I spent a couple of days alone and then joined by my sister. We felt safe. I would recommend. It would have been nice to have a little booklet of helpful info (using the Nest thermostat, fireplace, etc) and places to see and eat. I ended up going to places recommended by my guide at the horse stable and a couple of locals I met. All in all GREAT trip!

Annual Winter Vacation

My husband and I were not as enamored with this cabin as other reviewers have been, but it boils down to personal preference as the accommodations overall were perfectly adequate. What you can't appreciate from the description, pictures provided, and reviews is the fact that this cabin is one of a number in succession on this street. You are in very close proximity to the renters on both the left and right of you and when outside the cabin, have no privacy. This includes time spent soaking in the hot tub which is located on the ground level in a space that is very brightly lit and has an unfinished feel. I also agree with another reviewer who commented on too few towels being provided. With that said, we loved the ease of the door lock and the passcode provided, the fireplace is fantastic and easy to use, and there is a small "library" and puzzles for your entertainment as well as Roku TV. The shower stayed hot for 2 back-to-back showers and the bed was comfy. Obviously a very highly regarded cabin... just not our favorite for the 2 reasons listed above.

Hello Kara, thank you for staying with me and I am sorry you weren’t in love with your stay. With respect I would like to go over some of your issues. Yes this cabin is listed as being in a small cabin community with cabins on each end but to say there is no privacy is absolutely incorrect. I am sorry you felt you didn’t have privacy but if you don’t mind send me a message on how you I can change your perception with improvements. When you are in the hot tub you can dim the lights on the switch or my favorite only utilize the flood lights. As for the towels I provide 4 towels per guest, free washer and dryer access and free detergent. If you were to request more towels I would have been more than happy to send you some, but due to the washer being small and all laundry being cleaned on site it would add more time and money to the cleaning fee. I am here for all guests if you would have just sent me a message or you responded to one of my many messages I feel this could have resulted a better experience. Thank you and take care

perfect cabin getaway

The cabin itself was very clean, organized and inviting. its location was far off the beaten path which was a plus, giving plenty of privacy. the town nearest to the cabin also offered the "small southern town" feel which felt genuine. lots of activities to do nearby, though somewhat limited due to the time of the year we went during the holidays but still went hiking and exploring the town. however theres only two small things i would change. the first is the number of towels and wash cloths. we had only one set, and felt wasteful having to do a load of laundry once or twice to have a clean wash cloth to shower with. one more set of each would've been enough. The second item is the ability to adjust the thermostat. since we were from florida, the climate is different at sea level with high humidity year round compared to low humidity at altitude and the temperature set was a tad chilly, requiring using the fireplace more than usual. I could've reached out to the host but didn't want to be a bother. none of these minuscule things would make me consider giving this cabin a lower rating at all, and we absolutely loved our stay which seemed way too short and are considering renting it again next year!

The towels we try to stay green and only give 1 set per guest if its 3 nights or less but we do offer laundry pods, but we can get you more towels if needed.
