A wonderful way to enjoy and experience the desert. Brilliantly located at a trail head onto JTNP but with all of the modern and luxury elements of your home, with kind and helpful hosts. Thanks Skip and Monica for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 4-bedroom home near Joshua Tree National Park. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.The pool and spa were definitely highlights—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Joshua Tree. The home was well-appointed and made it easy for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing place near Joshua Tree!

This spot was amazing. Very spacious, pool and Jacuzzi were on point. Instructions were easy to follow. Definitely coming back for another stay.

Thank you! We think the spot is amazing. You are so close to Black Rock Canyon a part of Joshua Tree National Park but you have all the amenities, conveniences and wifi you could ask for. Black Rock Luxury Lodge is a great way to visit this area. All the windows have amazing views. Come and make memmories here.

The property was perfect! Beautiful home; built in pool and spa; amazing location for viewing the Persieds Meteor Shower. Monica and Skip were the perfect hosts; always accessible and easy going! I would recommend this rental to anyone who asked!

Absolutely beautiful place and the perfect vacation home! There were so many "extra" amenities and the owners were very easily available and quick to respond. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would!

This is a fantastic property, inside and out. The kitchen has everything you need. The outdoor space is comfortable, beautiful, and fun. Our whole party was impressed and all look forward to returning one day.

The property is amazing! Beautiful, comfortable, and with a thoughtfully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The kids loved the pool and the cabinet of toys and books. There wasn’t a single need or want that was lacking. We had a wonderful time.

Black Rock Luxury Lodge is certainly that in every respect. The property is wonderfully pristine, with beautiful furnishings, huge living room, cozy den and large bedrooms, each with their own Smart TV. The kitchen is superb and filled with everything you would ever need for preparing meals. The outside, with its Joshua Trees and desert views around the hot tub and pool provide for relaxing enjoyment as well as a mesmerizing ambiance, especially after dark. Also, parking in the garage was a nice added benefit.This home was everything we had hoped for and was the perfect place to spend a long weekend with relatives and in-laws. The six of us (thee couples) had a grand time enjoying all the amenities and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Finally, Skip was extremely helpful and quickly provided answers to any questions we had. Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed our week stay over Christmas! Everything was exactly as described and the host provided instructions, which made it easy to operate everything around the home. The outdoor spa was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking. The host kindly checked in after the first day to make sure everything was up to par. Would definitely stay again!

Luxurious and Immaculate

Wonderful place to vacation. Had a great stay here! Especially loved the pool, spa and covered patio area. Rooms are spacious and kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent family vacation

Superb luxury property that accommodated all of our needs. Great location near to the park and all shopping. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax for our week stay. Skip and Monica were very responsive when we contacted them. A very nice 5 star stay.

This was our second stay at Black Rock. Very much enjoy this home. Beautiful landscaping and spacious inside. Would stay a third time, and we probably will.

Don't Miss This Gem: Perfect VRBO for Exploring and Unwinding

This VRBO was amazing! It had everything we could've needed, even extras like spices and dog bowls. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at night, with incredible star views. Plus, the location was super convenient to hikes and yummy food. We'd definitely stay here again!

This house worked out perfectly for our family of eight. The home is well laid out, beautifully furnished and comfortable. We were in the pool and the hot tub every day. The proximity for hiking in Joshua Tree was a definite plus. Having never been to the park before, Joshua Tree was even more beautiful and awe inspiring than I imagined. Skip and Monica were great hosts. Communication was easy, and the home was well stocked. It is obvious that the hosts know what their guests need and they provide it for them. I hope I get the chance to come back here someday - so does the rest of my family!

My family had an amazing stay at this property. Skip went above and beyond to make sure my family was taken care of. The house was very clean and as advertised. It's perfect for a family getaway. I would definitely book again.

Great Experience

Stayed here for a mom's weekend with girlfriends and we had a blast. We did the trail in the back, did the Pioneertown and enjoyed the house!

Hands down one of the best houses we've ever rented! Skip was extremely responsive, the house decor / layout / cleanliness was top tier. The beds were so comfortable, got some of the best sleep of my life there. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Skip’s and Monica’s home. They were quick to communicate when we had questions and went out of their way to accommodate our unique needs. The home was clean and the area is peaceful with plenty of opportunity for out door exploring. Highly recommend this place for your next Yucca Valley visit!
