Beautiful Family home with access to Red Mill Pond

Perfect home for a family vacation! Close to Lewes, Broadkill Beach, Cape Henlopen, Rehoboth and more. The development has access to Red Mill Pond for fishing, boating and kayaking. Large, private, above ground pool available in season and patio with firepit.

** Please note we prefer 3 night minimum off season and 6 night in season. If you need other accommodations, we would be glad to consider. Pets also welcome on a case by case basis.

Looking for a quiet vacation spot large enough for the whole family? Look no further. Our home is conveniently located between Broadkill and Lewes beaches and about 10 miles to Cape Helopen or Rehoboth boardwalk.

Inside space - Our home includes a living room and large family room (with gas fireplace) for gathering, 3 bedrooms (each with a queen bed) as well as a flex room that serves as a remote work space or extra bedroom (with a full-sized pull out couch). There are two additional pull out sofas (living room and family room) if needed. There are three full baths with the master bath boasting a jetted tub.

Outside space - Step outside to grill and eat on the deck or move down to the patio and enjoy the firepit and above ground pool (in season). The backyard is fenced for your convenience and the large driveway accommodates several cars and boats.

Speaking of boats, the development has boat ramp access to Red Mill Pond. It is perfect for fishing or kayaking as well (2 kayaks are available for use).

Local amenities include Dogfish Head Brewery, Rookery Golf Club, bike trails, many excellent restaurants, Tangier outlets, and lots of opportunities for nature or birding if you enjoy that.

We love having our family together for vacations here and hope you will too!

The house was perfect size for 6 adults and 3 kids. At first I thought it was going to be a hassle to get to the local area beaches. But the beach at Cape Henelopen State Park was easy to get to, as was Rehoboth beach. The kids enjoyed the pool in the back yard. The inside of the house was nicely decorated in a coastal/beachy theme. And there was plenty of room to spread out without everyone being on top of each other. It was super clean and very well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels available for everyone. There were beach chairs and umbrellas, and a beach tent in the shed we were able to use. It was a very short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The place is perfect for a beach getaway if you are looking for a place that’s not right on the water and in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. We all enjoyed our stay in Delaware.

Vacation getaway near Rehoboth beach

The rental property was amazing, clean, exactly like the photos and more, everything at the property was well thought-out, washer/dryer, kitchen supplies, toiletries, bed linens and more. Very clean swimming pool. I wish I was able to stay longer.

FANTASTIC PLACE!!!

We’d probably give 10 stars if we could. This place is even better than the pictures. We loved everything—especially how accommodating the host was and the amenities were above and beyond. The pool in the backyard is a great perk-the kids really loved it! There was plenty of room for us all. Thanks so much for our wonderful stay!

Fabulous!!

This was our best experience yet! The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed and more! The owners were very responsive and helpful! The pool was bigger than we expected and so clean and refreshing and we enjoyed the patio while grilling with friends and family! We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Great stay for a family vacation near Rehoboth Beach

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was even better in person and the perfect space for a family vacation with multiple couples and a baby. Each family got their own room and bathroom, and the living room was perfect for a small child to safely play. The hosts were so accommodating and even provided baby gates and baby items! The location was great, providing us with privacy but still near everything we would want to do, and the pool was such a nice bonus! We had bad weather during our stay, but still had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Beach vacation

My family and I really enjoyed the stay at the house. Very comfortable house with many features. It was great having access to a pool in the backyard and use of the beach equipment was wonderful. I was able to communicate with the owners easily with any questions. My only suggestion is more hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels and wash clothes.

Perfect getaway

This house was just perfect for our family 6 adults 2 (under2). The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner was an immediate response. So close to everything we love but far enough away from all the hustle. We will be renting again. Bonus for my husband was a shelf full of his favorite author. Rehoboth First Timers

This property was exactly as listed. The kitchen was pretty much stocked with the essentials and more. My family especially enjoyed the convenience of having a pool on the property. Although most days weren't really warm enough, the polar plunges were a hoot...lol. Game night was extra special with the additional games in house. Kirsten was a very responsive and attentive host, which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property and will look them up if/when we return for some Delaware fun.

Excellent beach rental

This house exceeded all our expectations! We had 5 adults, 2 teenage girls, 2 teenage boys and two 1 yr old babies. The bathrooms ensured everyone had space to get ready each day and there was very minimal waiting for anyone to get out the door. The pool was a great bonus for the kids. TVs in every room! The living room and kitchen accommodated our large group with ease. Very comfortable furniture and beds! The host was on top of communication prior to our arrival ensuring everything went smooth. There was no need for communication during the stay as everything went perfectly. The neighborhood was super quiet. We highly recommend this rental if you are heading to the beaches in this area. Rehoboth beach and board walk is less than 20 minute drive and be sure to check out the creamery just up the road!

You Will NOT Be Disappointed!

We chose this house for our 14th annual beach week and were glad we did. The amenities are exceptional, truly exceptional! We had 12 of us from ages 6 to 60’s and the house suited us very well! It has A LOT of room and that’s just inside. The yard was big enough to play wiffle ball, the driveway big enough for pickleball and of course the POOL was a huge hit with the kids and grandkids alike!! Everything you need for a fabulous vacation is right there. We ate inside around a big table and we also ate outside together. There is so much to do just at the house that we spent a lot of time there. Kirsten was extremely responsive to any need we had and ensured that we had a great time. The large family room was just right for our nightly family council meetings where we discussed the day and gave the grands a “kindness theme” for the next day. We also explored all the beaches except Rehoboth (too crowded). We actually like Tower Beach the best, but it is below Dewey Beach so there is traffic that way. And there are a couple of great ice cream places nearby which is a must for us. All in all the house was exceptionally appointed with every amenity you could want and then some like Kayaks! As the subject says, You. Will. Not. Be. Disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay! We spent a lot of time in the pool - it was the perfect size for our group to play around in. They had lots of pool floats, which we took full advantage of. The house was clean and very spacious. We were able to spread out when we wanted to, but there was also plenty of room on the big couch for everyone to watch tv together. Having 3 full bathrooms was clutch with 4 teen girls in the house. Kirsten and Dominic were excellent hosts, very responsive via text, and Kirsten even came over to check the pool levels after it rained. The location was perfect, far enough away from the craziness that it felt calm and quiet but close enough to drive to several beaches. We visited Lewes and Rehoboth this time. We preferred Lewes because it was less crowded and easier to get to. Unfortunately the jellyfish were abundant, which limited our time in the water. With the really warm temps, it brings them in closer to the shore. That’s why having a pool at the house was so fortunate because we were still able to swim. Highly recommend getting out to Funland at the Rehoboth boardwalk to see the Haunted Mansion before it closes for renovations in 2027. We didn’t make it out to Red Mill Pond for kayaking. Guess we’ll have to come back! Thanks for all the great memories we had here!

The home is very BIG! Pictures don't do it credit! We had 5 kids, including an 11-month-old, so loved all the baby gear/kids toys! Having 2 living rooms was great - One for baby & others to hang out in (blocked off by baby gate) & the other for quiet reading or the jigsaw puzzle. We used the "office" with the foldout couch as a 4th bedroom for 2 of the children since it had doors! Having the 2 extra cots available was great. All the beds were comfy. And a dining table that actually has room for all the people who are staying there was excellent! Great for meals, playing board games, etc. The kitchen and pool/beach toys/floats were amazingly well-supplied. And having the linens including bath/beach towels provided was great! With 5 kiddos, we used the large format washer & dryer. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before we got to the pond to fish or kayak. But the pool more than made up for it, especially in high heat! We appreciated all the clear instructions from the owner concerning all aspects of the home/pool care!A couple minor drawbacks: Not being able to get hot water in the biggest bedroom shower until you turn on the hot water in one (or sometimes both) of the bathroom showers was not fun. And although only 15 minutes from Lewes Public Beach, it seemed pretty far from some of our other kid activities - Evans Park & arcade that were favorites near Bethany Beach -without going on highway.A perfect home for families to gather for vacation! Highly recommend it!!!

This was a great place to stay. We had 10 adults and children that stayed for a week. There was lots of comfortable seating, fully furnished with linens, towels, dishes, soap, TP, paper towels, and even some extra blankets. It was extremely helpful to have a washer and dryer to wash the towels after our beach adventures. It was extremely helpful to have the things we needed for the week and not having to pack everything and bring it with us. It was also super helpful to be able to cook meals instead of eating out at restaurants every day.The pool was awesome to have (along with floaties) and it was partially shaded with a great outdoor space for the kids to play or lounge by the fire pit. There was a lot of decor along with some games and books, for some other options of things to do. There was also a large driveway so that all three of our vehicles could fit with even more space available. The beds were a bit tight, but we made it work - there were couches and pull out beds that accommodated us. There is a step in the middle of the house that got us a few times, but it did have reflective tape in the kitchen. The hosts were great with their communication when I needed to report an issue with one of the faucets and had someone there to fix it right away. I would highly recommend this place for your next vacation destination.
