First the good: It was very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient. Quick drive to the beach, but away from the noise and crowds. Could be walkable/bikeable, but not really a great walkway/trail to do that. We did not use the shuttle to the beach, or the beautiful clubhouse/pool, etc., as we did not stay for 7 days. I'm sure those were all great. Really nice yard/patio. We did not use the hot tub. What could be improved: Wifi was not great. We all used our own hotspots. Host could possibly have fixed if we had reported it, but wasn't an issue for us. Air conditioning is just one zone. It was hot upstairs unless the downstairs was blasting cold. Again, we dealt with that, but the weather was nicer outside. If it is a humid heat wave week in the summer it might be a bigger issue. The beds were all very comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was definitely not. We enjoyed the bikes, but bring your own helmets and bike locks. And a tire pump, as the tires were flat. Some consumables were supplied, but you will end up going to the store to restock or get essentials. Ask ahead what is included. Not a big deal, but good to know ahead of time. If you are big coffee drinkers, bring your own coffee maker. The one at the house is nice, but small. You will make multiple pots for a large group. There is a nespresso with some starter pods as well.Overall the house fit our needs just fine. I would consider renting it again.
