Powdermill Hill Cabin is nestled within the Arts & Crafts community of Gatlinburg, it's only a 3-minute drive to our local Arts & Crafts center -- shops, restaurants, art galleries and more! -- and only a 5-minute drive to Downtown Gatlinburg!

This is truly the perfect blend of “getting away from it all” and still being close to all of the amazing sights and attractions Gatlinburg has to offer!

As you pull into the cabin you will fall in love with the wrap around porch overlooking the nature views with plenty of rocking chairs and sitting space for you to relax and enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain views!

Once you enter the home, you will be impressed with the massive, beautiful staircase that acts as a "tree" leading you to the upper lofted bedroom. There is a Queen bed in the lofted bedroom. This upper level offers a full bath with an amazing deep bathtub to relax, soak, and unwind. There is a sitting area that includes a Queen sleeper sofa to enjoy your favorite movies.

The kitchen is fully equipped and open to the living room. The living room is home to a wood burning fireplace and a floor to ceiling glass gable wall allowing lots of natural light to come through while being able to take in the nature just outside of the cabin. The main level also includes 2 king bedrooms with a adjoining Jack and Jill full bathroom and a walk-in shower. Washer/dryer is located main level for your convenience.

The lower level includes an Arcade Game, Pool Table, Twin Over Twin with a Trundle, Full bathroom, Queen Sleeper Sofa, and full 2-car garage.

The outside is sure to please for entertaining! You will have access to a Fire Pit, Hot Tub, a park style Grill and a convenient red bridge that comes off of the porch and leads to a private hiking trail for nature lovers. Additionally at the base of the driveway is a service road that leads into the mountain range just behind the cabin with miles of hiking available!

Powdermill Hill Cabin has everything you need to stay in the cabin and cozy up, but close enough to all the action of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to be able to conveniently take advantage of the thousands of nearby top-rated attractions and restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was a great location, near enough to downtown but also close to some restaurants that were outside the main strip. We were disappointed in the private hiking trail as it’s not very long. Communication and check in were super easy. Used several free tickets which saved us money on attractions.

Beautiful cabin with lots of amenities and the hosts were quick to respond. The showers were nice and big and we really enjoyed the wrap around porch. The hiking trail was very short so I don’t know that I would consider it a hiking trail. We did have some issues getting some stuff to work, like the grill and the hot tub, but once we got it they were fine. My boys enjoyed the games, like the Xbox, but it was a bummer the second controller didn’t work. The driveway is very steep but my van had no problem with it. I also appreciated the baby gates on the stairs and access to a high chair and pack n play. Overall, great cabin for a large family! Plenty of space for us all.

Our stay was amazing. But here's somethings you might want to know before booking. The driveway is steep, but manageable. We had a full size truck and a minivan both made it up just fine. It's advertised as 4 bedrooms, but it's only 2 private bedrooms with a connecting bathroom to both. There's a loft that's wide open to everything with its own bathroom, and downstairs are bunk beds and a pull out couch that's just in the corner of the game room. There were no Dollywood tickets as advertised. And the "private hiking trail" is only 50ft long. If that. The place is absolutely beautiful though. It was very comfortable, and clean. The hot tub was awesome. We had 4 children that were in it all the time. We had one issue with the AC and it was fixed very quickly after I had called in.It's very bare minimum with towels and regular everyday items. Soap, dishwasher detergent laundry detergent.We would definitely book here again!

Great little getaway

I really liked the location tucked away in the mountains away from town, but not to far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We loved the cabin it was very spacious and was laid out very well especially for families. I would recommend anyone to stay there and we will definitely stay again on our next trip down.

Great location!

Gorgeous property

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and spacious. We loved the big porch and the kitchen table. We had three couples with plenty of room to be together and also room for privacy.

This cabin’s listing is accurate. The space for our group of 11 was great. It’s a nice cabin. We did have to call the property manager twice for needed repairs that inconvenienced our stay, a non working toilet and the a/c. They were friendly and prompt with their response and solution within 24 hours both times.

First Family & Friends Getaway

This cabin was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our first family & friends vacation. The pictures online doesn't do justice for how beautiful this cabin really was, inside and out. Yes the drive way is a bit steep but was totally worth the cabin. We loved our weekend stay, it was beautiful, cozy, peaceful and perfect for our families. The pool table & the jacuzzi was a big hit. Being back to our reality makes me wish we book a longer stay.

This spacious and cozy cabin has everything and more. Better than the pictures, beautifully decorated inside and out. You can enjoy the indoors as well as the outdoors with all it has to offer. You get your own private hiking trail, hot tub, fire pit, etc. Grown-ups and kids had an amazing time. Thank you!

Wonderful Home!

We loved our stay!! The cabin was as described in rental info. Very clean. Attention to detail for renters with closets, clothes storage and amenities. Bonus to find a gas grill for use. Location was amazing- 15 minutes to the park & Gatlinburg. Lots of steps- not a problem for us, but if you have difficulty climbing steps, this is not the place for you. We will rent this home again for future trips.

Enjoyed stay

We did enjoy the cabin but it was a disappointment that we couldn't use the outdoor firepit and grill. The reason we felt we couldn't use was the grill hadn't been used in quite a while and needed to be brushed clean but there was no brush. The firepit was really close to the house and had no exterior lights for after dark. We partially chose this place because the description talked about having a firepit and grill.

Check in

I emailed an hr and half prior to arrival and was told would receive door code shortly . We arrived at 430 check in was at 4 and it was almost 5 before we could reach anyone to get the door code. Overall the cabin was very nice had everything we needed. Location was nice for gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Be prepared for a steep driveway but our two cars did fine.

Check in time is after 4:00 p.m. EST. During peak seasons or inclement weather conditions, all units may not be ready promptly at 4, and your patience is always appreciated. Thanks for the review! Come back anytime!

Overall, the cabin was a great stay. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because the bathrooms need a deep cleaning of the shower tiles, a good sweep/cleaning behind the claw tub, and a couple of the appliances were not fully functional. We still used them, but just an inconvenience. It also would've been nice if there was a note in the welcome binder about how to turn on the string lights. It was very dark when we got back in the evenings, and personally, I was afraid of stepping on something in the dark. We figured it out later on in our stay after messaging the host. Parking is a tad difficult with the steep incline. We loved the baby gates available on each of the staircases. It really helped with our 2 year old and keeping the 3 kids (2yo, 3yo, and 6yo) all contained in one area. The cabin itself was very family-friendly.

We had a great visit. The house is located perfectly. The issues came with no working TVs. We purchased our own Rokus because it took two days for a maintenance man to come out. He came out and said he would need to get Roku/firestick. I explained that we had bought two and I could leave them if I would be reimbursed. He said someone would be contacting me. I never heard from anyone. Even after sending a message directly. The outside lights down stairs did not work it was completely dark and I actually rolled my ankle due to the lack of proper lighting. The rails for the staircase outside were loose. We had a great time but would have liked to had better response from the property management company.down st

Let’s talk about the most important thing you CAN’T see in these photos- the driveway. It’s a death trap. I have a AWD Yukon XL & I still thought we were going to die pulling up & down this driveway. And the spaces at the top aren’t big enough for a vehicle our size. The car tilted & we had trouble unpacking it. Thank god my vehicle is designed with anti-roll brakes when you take your foot off the brake. There is a gravel pad on a lower level but then you have to climb a STEEP portion of the driveway to get in & out of the house. If there was ANY ice or snow you’d be screwed. Backing down the drive to leave was terrifying. It’s cozy & mostly like the pictures on the interior. The main floor beds are comfortable. The queen upstairs is hard. Some of the lamps & ceiling fan lights don’t work. There are like 30 light switches & most of them are labeled but some of them don’t work. I had to switch off a power strip next to the bed to work 2 lights.Heat in the basement was confusing. No darts for the dart board. Outdoor lights were confusing. Second floor bathroom had a broken handle & sprayed water everywhere & then a pipe was broken & leaked water through the ceiling Into the master bedroom. After hours phone call operators are rude. Daytime people were great. They couldn’t repair the issue so we were out a bathroom. Garage door also broken. Asked for some type of compensation for the lack of some amenities. They offered me 15% back which I have yet to see on credit card.
