Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly the confusion surrounding check-in. We take full responsibility for that error, and while it was resolved quickly with our management team, we understand that it created unnecessary frustration at the start of your visit. We also take any health or safety concern very seriously. During your stay, the pool water was tested twice, and on both occasions the water chemistry, including pH and sanitizer levels, was confirmed to be within the recommended operating range. Because of those test results, we have no evidence that the pool caused the skin irritation described. We were also not made aware of the issue until you were checking out, which limited our ability to investigate further or assist at the time. We understand that your children experienced a rash, and we are genuinely sorry they were uncomfortable. However, based on the testing performed during your stay, we cannot conclude that the pool was the cause. We are grateful that you noted the beauty of the property and the responsiveness of our management team. We have welcomed many families to The Bunkhouse, including numerous repeat guests, and experiences like the one described in this review are not representative of the feedback we typically receive.
