Awesome place to stay

The tents are amazingly equipped for a glamping experience! Staff are awesome and the winery is great. Only downside is side would be the temperatures during the day - equipped with a stand alone air condition unit that does wonders at night but is unable to beat the temperatures during the day. We will be back at a cooler time of the year!

Very nice stay

Excellent glamping accommodation, perfect for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed the comfort of the tent and the private firepit. You can hear the road from the tent during the day, but this is very quiet past 6pm and did not bother us during our stay.

Cool & comfy even in the summer heat!

We really enjoyed our Glamping adventure at 12 Fires! We arrived, got settled, turned on the AC unit and went to the tasting room! Mike was so incredibly hospitable and it was super fun to geek out about wine with him. After a great dinner in Fredericksburg, we came back to a nice cool "bedroom" in our tent. We could hear the road noise, but the AC unit was great "white noise" and we slept soundly. We even had a mini-fridge for stashing our wine purchases. Coffee on the front porch in the morning was lovely!

The Relaxing Weekend We Were Hoping For

We’re not campers and didn’t really know what glamping was all about until we walked into our cabin. A microwave, frig, indoor bathroom, and one of the most comfy beds we’ve slept in!! The first night we enjoyed wine and pizza on the patio at the onsite winery and then sat out under the stars on the front deck of our cabin. After a road trip around the area, we ended our second night with wine and a charcuterie try at the winery and again a night under the stars. We were looking forward to a quiet, tmrekaxing weekend and it’s exactly what we got. Great experience!!!

A very nice glamping experience

This was a very short notice reservation and the owner and his staff welcomed us and got us set up in our tent! The place is beautiful…the bed was super comfy, bathroom was clean and had very nice shower, the kitchen area had coffee and waters for us and the porch area had couches and chairs to relax in. A few steps away from the tent, we had our own private fireplace. Not only was the tent site nice, they have a tasting room on the property with some delicious wines! This was the perfect stay and cannot wait to go back!

Sadly the experiance went from pretty good to not good at all. The AC unit wasnt working properly which yes they added a fan in the tent which helped some. Then the AC started leaking water onto our luggage and gifts. Very unhappy about that. Then unfortunately woke in the night to having ants on the bedding and our clothing and all on the table area ( and no food was open or left out ). Could not stay any longer so sadly had to end our trip abrubtly and unhappy with the circumstances.

Great Glamping Tent at 12 Fires!

We stayed in tent 5, which had full amenities! It was so convenient as our favorite winery, 12 Fires, was just a few steps away! 😊 Our dog was with us for the entire duration of the trip and he loved enjoying the porch and outdoors with us. These tents are great for a weekend getaway!

Nice but Noisy

The accommodations were well furnished for necessities. The Queen bed was comfortable but a little difficult to get out of if you are the one against the wall. Make sure to bring noise cancelling headphones. They do furnish disposable foam earplugs but the road noise is still present. This would be a 5 Star rating without the noise factor.
