Magical beach house, ocean views, luggage elevator, steps to the sand!

Crane cottage has ocean views from multiple expansive porches. One short block to the beach & a golf cart ride to delicious food. Fully equipped and expertly managed to guarantee a worry-free vacation of your dreams.

On the top floor Crane Cottage has a bedroom with King bed, a private bathroom & private deck with unobstructed ocean views. Also on the top floor is another bedroom with private bath and a comfy queen bed. There are two bedrooms on the first level, one with a queen bed, and another with 2 bunkbeds that sleeps 4 children. The open living room, dining and kitchen, boasts tons of windows, bringing in wonderful natural light. Walk out to the large deck furnished with a large stone dining table to dine al fresco.

Crane cottage sits on a large corner lot, exactly one block from beach access. Dining options and outdoor activities are just a short walk away.

Professionally designed and updated, Crane Cottage has a new kitchen, new flooring throughout, fresh paint on all the walls, trim, doors and ceilings. The house has brand new beds and furniture in all of the rooms & high-end finishes.

Everything is in place to ensure a relaxing and convenient stay at the cottage. From beach chairs to plenty of towels, a beach cart, coffee makers, gas grill, sand toys, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the ocean views and sunsets from the 2 large decks. If you require assistance with carrying your luggage up to the main floor, there is a luggage elevator available per request. Message us if you have any further needs.

The home was amazing! Had everything you might need or want. You could never get tired of the sunsets, there. You can see the water from the decks but there are houses in the way. I used the zoom lens on my camera. There are lots of steps to get in.

Amazing views

Amazing views very close to beach. Enjoyed morning coffee from the top deck. Plenty of beach accessories for the family! Lots of room for everyone! We had a great time!

Family Port Joe Vacation

I would recommend it for multi family groups. The air conditioning is not even on all levels. Access to the beach was excellent. Communication from the owner and management was excellent.

The home is very nice and being only two blocks from the beach it affords lovely views and sounds of the Gulf. Enjoy watching an amazing sunset from the balcony sitting area. The host was prompt was prompt in responding to messages There are quite a few stairs to climb to get to door which made the elevator wonderful for getting our luggage, cooler and grocery into the house. The house does not have keyless entry and we found the “realtor style” lockbox inconvenient to use in order to access or depart from the house. The home is nicely decorated with beach decor, the furniture was comfortable and large dining room table that seats 8 was a bonus! A table that size is not always available in a rental. The home has a very quiet dishwasher and a large drum top loading washing machine and front loading dryer. We enjoyed the home and will keep it on our radar for another visit to the area!

We had a good week, although the place was smaller than anticipated. It was well stocked with hand soap and trash bags, even detergent. The gated deck was very nice. The bunk room is really more suited for kids, not adults. Bunks are low, I had to crawl in and out.

Great vacation home

House was very nice. Location was awesome because it is very close to the beach. House advertises a hot tub but there isn’t a hot tub and the kitchen has lots of fancy dishes for hosting but not very practical dishes for making meals for a family.

Wonderful beach home

Crane Cottage was an amazing beach home! It was our kids and grandkids first visit to Florida and we made so many memories we will cherish forever. We had amazing views of the Gulf from both decks. The beach home was very cozy and inviting and beautifully decorated! Our hosts were so wonderful and very quick to answer all our questions. We will definitely come back to visit and stay at Crane Cottage again!!

Great location

Everything we needed for a great week. Beautiful sunsets from the porches, gulf view. Best part was proximity to fishing as my group are kayak fishermen and there was plenty of parking for our kayak trailer which is hard to find. Jamie was easily accessible for our questions.

Excellent Location and Stay!

We had an excellent multi-family stay! The location to the beach access is great! Very short walk to the beach, or you can rent a golf cart to shuttle all of your beach gear to the access from multiple rental companies in the area. The home was well decorated and had comfortable beds! Plenty of dishes and kitchen cookware. The luggage lift was very handy for groceries and transport of daily cooler "beach supplies"! We will return the next time we visit the area!

We had a wonderful experience at Crane Cottage. The quiet neighborhood setting was just what we were looking for.Offers a short and direct walk to the beach where you will be presently surprised to find plenty of room to spread out as the area is not heavily populated. Our kids walked to the beach in the mornings and looked for shells by them selves as the area feels very secure. The house was well equipped and met all of our needs. A propane grill was a big plus. The kitchen had all the necessary components to cook our meals. Sunset views from the upper balcony were amazing!I would gladly recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect

The home was clean and very cozy. Everything you need for cooking meals in. The distance to the beach was about 600 feet so not far at all. And the best ocean views and the sunsets are beautiful. I could go on but I won't this place is perfect. I look forward to returning hopefully next year.

Wonderful Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beach house! It is perfect for families with young children, and had toys and games that were a huge hit. The walk to the beach was very short and the host had lots of toys and beach chairs to use. The kitchen was stocked well and labeled, but could use a little more plates, or plan on running the dish washer after most meals. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch every evening with the beach view and breeze, and the sunset views are wonderful from the top deck. If you like to go out to eat for meals, just know this area is mainly food trucks, with a few sit down restaurants. We would definitely consider coming back to this house!

Love this place!!

My family and I really loved this house!! There was 9 of us total and we all were comfortable the whole time! This house is set back just off the main strip in a quiet neighborhood but a short two minute walk to the beach that was never over crowded with a lot of people. Beautiful views of the ocean from both levels of the house. I could keep going but I’ll keep it short. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation getaway without being in crowds of people and want easy access to the beach and a beautiful house to stay in? This is the place! We will definitely make this our beach vacation for years to come!

Perfect Family Vacation

It MATTERS who you rent with! This years rental experience with Crane Cottage & VRBO was absolutely PERFECT! Last year we rented through a local agency (not with VRBO) & it was a complete disaster. We have always had good experiences with VRBO, so we returned back to what we know. The Owner of Crane Cottage was absolutely amazing with clear communication & very thorough with all explanations. We knew exactly what to expect before our arrival and were very pleased with every aspect of the rental property. When we first looked for a rental we thought we wanted ocean front. We were very happy that this home sat just one block back from the very busy road that the ocean front properties were on. It was a very short and easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood where this home is located is very peaceful & quiet with just the sound of birds singing in the morning, but still close enough to the beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset.🌅 The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful vacation. As every homeowner knows, without a shadow of a doubt things will happen to a home beyond your control that will need attention, but I am here to tell you that you will have no worries, the owner has a great local person to take care of any unexpected issues that could arise. When you rent this property it is not a business transaction but more as though a friend has invited you into their home to stay and thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay!

We are a family of 3 from Atlanta, Georgia and we have been coming down to Port St Joe and Mexico Beach for over 20 years! We love the low-key vibe that our beach town provides and all of the activities it offers!

We chose Beacon Hill because it has gorgeous views of the Ocean and is in close proximity to downtown PSJ for dining and shopping. We are also very close to other family members which is very important to us.
