Enjoyed our time at this house. Heated pool was great! When we had a small problem in the kitchen, the host was very responsive and took care of it immediately! Even loaded the dishwasher for us! Would definitely stay there again.

We had an excellent experience. The place is well equipped and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were like new. The location is perfect and Corolla is a lovely village with plenty of places to explore. The big tip is get there as early as possible. The traffic thru Duck on move in days is awful. It took us two hours to go about nine miles. The beach was not overly crowded and guarded.

The house is in a great location and has plenty of privacy. The house was very clean and well stocked. The heated pool was fantastic, we spent a lot of time in the water with our grandson, who learned to swim underwater solo!! The outside area has plenty of sun as well as shaded areas. It's a great place to stay with families, lots of space.

Gates on all decks and secure fence around pool. It was very private and we enjoyed the heated pool all week. We would definitely book again.

The hostess was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the open concept of the house as well as the huge dining room table! Strangly, there was no dvd player in the house but a great collection of dvds! The hostess did specify only a starter pack of toiletries provided and we brought more toilet paper and paper towels. But there was no soap by the sinks provided or garbage bags other than the ones in the trash cans. So bring some! Eileen did bring us 2 garbage bags when we messaged her as we had just gotten back from the store to get soap.

It’s a 4 minute walk down the street to the beach but then there are 2 flights of stairs to get over the dunes which means taking a wagon on the beach is next to impossible so you need to park it and carry everything over. The area underneath the house where the hammock was had empty cans and debris.Otherwise, the pool was a great plus as was the clean jacuzzi and the house was clean and comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and found the home clean and comfortable. We’re sorry the beach access was more difficult than expected. One helpful tip for future guests is that the beach carts can be left at the bottom of the stairs before crossing the dunes, so there’s no need to carry the cart up and over the stairs. We also appreciate you bringing the debris under the house to our attention and will make sure that area is checked more carefully.

One of the things I would change is the company they get their linens from as when we arrived there were totes of linens just sitting in the driveway. When they brought new linens on Friday before our departure they never even picked up the old dirty linens which were still sitting in the driveway and sticking out of the totes which were visible to us and also bugs.

Svar fra VrboOwner den 13. aug. 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the linen totes were an eyesore during your stay. We do want to clarify that our linens are delivered in sealed, covered containers, and we personally make and inspect all of the beds before each guest’s arrival to ensure everything is fresh, clean, and ready for our guests. The bugs mentioned were outside in the driveway and not inside the home. We certainly understand that seeing the totes and linens outside was not ideal, and we will continue to work with our linen service to improve the timing and removal of the containers.

Very short walk to the beach! The home had everything our family of 10 needed. There was a power outage in the neighborhood the first night that blew a blower on one of the air conditioners. Our host got an HVAC company there within hours and the problem was fixed ASAP. This impressed me because there were many other homes with issues after the power outage, but our problem was addressed quickly. My only concern was the presence of mold on several of the shower curtains. We washed them all in bleach and that cleared up the problem.
