Hi Steve! Thank you so much for the great review and recommendation! We’re so glad you, your wife, and your pups had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the condo’s location—it really is hard to beat being right on the beach and so close to downtown, the greenway, and Fort Clinch! While we wish the ocean could be heard from every room, we’re thrilled to hear the condo had everything you needed. Hope to welcome you back to Amelia Island again soon! 🐾🏖️

Dee, thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the condo, views, and location. We agree, the decor is perfect and creates such a relaxing environment for your beach vacation! And with the ocean at your doorstep, you can't beat it! We will certainly pass your feedback about shelving along to the owners, as they are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience. Being a bottom level unit, it does have the convenience of no stairs to the front door as well as a direct path to the beach. However, it is unfortunate those particular guests above you weren't the quietest and we're so sorry about that! We would love to have you back in the future!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience at Captains House! We're delighted that you found the accommodations clean, well-appointed, and spacious enough for your needs. It sounds like you made the most of your time with a perfect mix of beach days, indoor activities, and exploring the surrounding areas, including Jacksonville and St. Augustine! We can't wait to welcome you back to Captains House for another fantastic stay!
