Everything was great about this place we only stayed a short visit but loved it no complaints at all. Very easy to get in touch with the boating guy and host!

A few college buddies and I stayed here for our reunion. The house was clean, well-stocked with essentials (cooking materials and towels, for example), located near grocery stores and restaurants, and had a really cool outdoor area that leads to the lake.

Perfect location to lots of shops, restaurants and grocery stores. House was very clean and had all the cooking equipment needed. Absolutely no complaints- would recommend and stay again.

Loved the home & the views. The lake was amazing! Only flaw was having to walk through a room to get into another room.. Very spacious. Easy check in, wonderful communication. Would book again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The house has a great open floor plan and living area. The back patio is perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The dock is a great and has incredible views of the cove.

Great location. Great views. Great house. Great customer service from the team. If I have to pick one thing to improve it would only be that the listing says hot tub- but it’s not working. It does say it in the fine print but the title is misleading. But I would stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

Great Staycation on the Lake

Had a wonderful time at Butler Bliss! The views from the house are amazing and the outside areas of the house are cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub, lake toys, and dock access. Just the right number of rooms for us. Would stay again for sure!

Fantastic Getaway Location

This property was everything we wanted and then some. Great place for old friends to get together for a long weekend. This was our first time at Lake Norman and it will not be our last thanks to Butler Bliss!

Mother's Day Weekend

Absolutely beautiful place. Loved everything about the place did not want to leave. The out door space is amazing. The house was very spacious and comfortable.

The house was perfect for 6 adults, 5 kids, & an infant plus 2 dogs. The house was clean with plenty of bath & lake towels. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and the grill was clean with a full propane tank. The location was wonderful, right on the lake and quiet but also close to the grocery store (Publix), a few restaurants, and mountain creek playground (which was awesome). The hot tub was working and great for relaxing during the evening. We would suggest bringing chairs, there’s none to sit by the dock, and bug spray. The lights strung around the dock would not turn on, so take a flashlight if you go down at night & be mindful the sliding door gets stuck sometimes. We did message the host to let them know there were 3 cockroaches in the house. Overall, we would recommend staying here.

Fantastic fourth

What a great place to stay with a group of friends over the Fourth of July! The check in/out process was easy and straightforward. The boat rental was so accommodating even when we decided the day of check in to rent it for our stay. The house was exactly as expected and so clean. Really awesome property!

A lovely week, lovely home, kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable. Loved all the tv's and the windows. The outdoor back porch, patio area is gorgeous. It was a very hot week and it was hard to keep upstairs bedrooms cool. Maybe a few more portable fans would be a good idea. There was dog hair under beds and behind furniture and vacuuming could have been performed a bit better. There is a great park about 2 miles frome the house! Also, either fix the hottub or remove it and don't advertise it. The hottub area on the deck is beautiful and would add so much to the outdoor experience especially in the spring and fall. The vrbo add should not reflect a hottub is available. Overall a great week!

Beautiful view, lots of outdoor space, beds for everyone, close to grocery and restaurants, really an ideal spot for a small family gathering. The one issue was the autistics of the house. It was impossible to be in the main area and not wake others, whether late at night or early morning. Regardless, we would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Staycation

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family (7 adults, 2 kids and a baby) and we couldn't have asked for a better property. It's exactly as pictured and described - spacious, clean, beautiful location. We were amazed at how well stocked the house is - probably the best stocked house I've ever rented. The property management company was also extremely easy to communicate with via email and text. We only used the paddleboat and kayaks once. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more!

Great Lake Norman inlet, quiet and peaceful.

The property was fantastic! I invited my siblings and their families from around the country to meet my family there for a vacation. It worked out well. The Charlette airport was only 40 minutes away which made transpiration easy. We brought our boat and spent every day on the Lake. Much better than the ocean, no sand!

Butler Bliss

House was very clean and in a great location. Norman lake is wonderful and the family enjoyed swimming at the dock. Wouldn’t recommend for small children with the number/type of steps in the house and grounds. Dishwasher wasn’t working well, maybe filter is clogged but food was just redeposited and the land scape lighting (lower half out to the dock) was not lighting. It would help to have a copy of the quick start guide to understand the controls to the hot tub.

The house was in general, beautiful. There are a lot of stairs which are accurately shown in the photos. It was overall clean with the exception of noticeable stains in two of the bedrooms that could use a good cleaning. My kids loved having a fire at night in the fire pit and they absolutely loved looking for fish over the dock! It’s a great location!We were happy with the home overall but there are a few areas that could be improved upon:1). The title of the listing should remove ‘hot tub’ until the hot tub is replaced and open for guest use. While it says the hot tub can’t be used at this time in the body of the property description, most people will look at the title and assume it can be used. 2). The ‘beach’ could use updating and doesn’t really look like the photo that is shown. 3). The listing implies a pontoon rental is possible through the listing. However, when we inquired, we were given the name of a boat rental company that no longer offers rentals. With that said, Avantstay was extremely responsive and were great hosts.

There were plenty of bedrooms, outstanding outdoor spaces, swimming right off the dock, and proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and other attractions. A great place to spend a week at the lake.

Great weekend at the Lake!

This house was everything you needed for a relaxing and fun weekend on the Lake. Really interesting design to the house with massive backyard. Host was great to work with and they made the boat rental process a breeze too!
