This charming apartment has everything you need for a comfy stay - a good bed with bamboo bedding and AC in the bedroom, high-pressure shower, fully-equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, and a living room that flows into a semi-private patio.

The space

This well-loved apartment has a shabby-chic vibe with beachy decor and all the amenities you need when staying home. Cook up a meal, read a book on the sofa, enjoy your morning coffee on the patio and have a deep snooze in the AC-cooled bedroom. When you're ready, the beach is steps away! Calle Mcleary and Loiza, both packed with bars and restaurants, are also seconds away on foot. Kite surfing, a trendy beach club and other attractions abound.



This is a downstairs apartment in a two-apartment older building, so please take note of the following:



1) Our upstairs neighbors also share this building, and they will need to pass through your patio to access their space. We encourage you to keep your front doors open when you're home to let in natural light (as mentioned in the next point), and you might see them passing by. Please be friendly and considerate of them, especially regarding noise levels. If you value total privacy, this place may not be the best fit for you, but it's perfect for those who enjoy a sense of community.



2)Being on the ground floor with traditional windows means our apartment receives a limited amount of natural light. However, once you're inside with the front doors open, it's comfortable and well-lit. It may not be flooded with sunlight and breathtaking views, but it offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. The bedroom doesn't have a lot of natural light unless you open the louvers, but we recommend keeping it dark and cooled with the AC, as shown in the honest photos.





We welcome furry friends if they are house trained and charge a $50 pet fee per pet per stay for stays of up to 5 days. However, for longer stays, the pet fee may vary slightly. Please note the patio is not sealed off, it has open access to our driveway and the stairs that lead to the upstairs unit. Your pet must stay in your area.

This surf pad is in a prime location! Walk to everything Ocean Park has to offer! Downtown Condado and Santurce, both full of restaurants, nightlife, shopping, museums and more, are a 20 min walk or quick scooter or Uber away. Old San Juan is 10 min by car. You don't need a car in this 'hood but if you choose to rent one there is street parking (don't leave visible valuables in your car).

Other things to note

In case of an electrical outage, there is a generator that can comfortably power lights, fans, outlets, and the fridge (No AC or other big appliances). The generator is shared with two other units.



The property also has a cistern for any water outages that may occur, although they are not frequent in this area.

Please keep in mind that Puerto Rico is an island that sometimes experiences water and electricity outages. The vibrant atmosphere of Puerto Rico means street noise is part of the experience. If you're a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs. Additionally, while we do our best to keep critters away, the tropical weather here means they can be a bit persistent. There are seasonal bugs that are attracted to light, so we advise turning off the lights to encourage them to move away.
