This villa is bursting with aloha! Jeanne is an excellent communicator and an overall wonderful host! Check-in at the MKV front desk was easy and staff were kind. Parking was ample and gave easy access to the villa. We loved the welcome basket including a lovely note, wine and goodies left by Jeanne. The room was very clean and well appointed with so many special Hawaiian touches such as fresh tropical flower adornments on towels, bed etc. and a fresh lei. We enjoyed the lanai which is just steps from the quieter pool and appreciated the wagon full of beach gear. The beach in front of the resort is typically uncrowded compared to the larger more commercial resorts. A very clean laundry room is a short walk away on the property. MKV is our preferred resort in West Maui as it is more ‘old Hawaii’ style. We’ve stayed in several of the villas and this is by far our favorite when it’s just the two of us! Thank you Jeanne!

Exceptional! The hospitality was second to none. We were provided everything we needed for the beach (including a wagon to carry things), everything we needed to cook (including olive oil), and the most thoughtful welcome basket I have ever seen. You will not regret staying at this wonderful home at a spacious, uncrowded resort. If you are looking at a map of the resort, this unit is in the Coconut building super close to the smaller pool. Bonus: fantastic snorkeling off the beach just to the right of the resort. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were very happy with our stay, and pleased with the attention to detail. There was nothing more we needed that wasn’t available. Location to pool could not have been better, walking short distance to beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! Everything was perfect! Great location - close enough to get anywhere driving, clean, had everything you’d need for the beach, hotel staff were friendly and helped arrange adventures/activities and an easy check in/out! Host was friendly, left a welcome basket of treats, always responded to messages and answered any questions! Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends!

This unit is exactly as it appears in the pictures...clean, convenient, comfortable, cozy, quiet and well stocked. My wife and I stayed in this same unit 4 years ago, and it was just as great on this visit as it was on the previous visit, right down to the welcome basket of goodies. Having a pool located steps away from the unit was great, but having the wagon with all the beach amenities was even better. The property (MKV) is as close to the beach as you will find in Maui. The host, Jeanne was very responsive during booking, and even accommodated us with a minor request at check-in. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful time here. The condo had everything I needed with many thoughtful extras. The sunsets and the whales on the beach were spectacular and the pool was just steps from the lanai. I’ll be back in September!

Pros: Excellent, thoughtful host and a great, clean room. The beach was perfect, plenty of room to spread out and we saw tons of aquatic life with the snorkels provided. Castaway Cafe was also a great little restaurant to grab a bite or a cocktail. Close proximity to Whaler’s Village with a reliable shuttle that was easy to figure out.Cons: Not many! Our one nit would be that the pool was always in use and was noisy most days and into the evening. Due to that, the private lanai was not as peaceful and serene as we had hoped for but we managed to just go for walks down to the beach to enjoy a quiet sunset. Could just have been a noisy week though for the pool, who knows!Overall, would go again

Best supplied and most comfortable VRBO, I've had! All very clean and comfortable. Kaanapali location and the Villas complex very well located. Pretty quiet. Lush grounds. Loved hanging out in the beach loungers, just watching for whales in sound between Maui and Lanai.

Resort is in a great location - nice beach that is walking distance from a fantastic reef for snorkeling. Unit is on the ground floor with direct access to the lawn and has a wagon with all the supplies you need for the beach. Responsive host who provided a deluxe welcome basket.

So happy with our stay

The room was so clean, well stocked with everything we might need and so quiet. We loved not being around all the hustle and bustle of whalers village but close enough to walk there if we wanted. We would definitely stay here again!

I chose this place due to the reviews, so it is only right that I leave a review. This far exceeded our expectations. No detail was forgotten. From the privacy on the back patio (that no other unit had), the location on the property, the welcome basket for guests, to the unit accommodating items you may have forgotten. Everything was spot on. Communcation was excellent and reassuring. Thank you for making our vacation even better than we expected.

2nd Stay

We have stayed here twice, both visits were great. The location is perfect for a relaxing get away… the pool is only steps from the lanai, and the beach is a short walk from there. We look to return again next year!

Aloha! We have never stayed anywhere that offered more hospitality than this condo. Not only did it have the best location you could ask for and was clean and beautifully decorated, but the owner had planned and provided everything you would need to make your stay stress free. The unit was completely stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, cleaning supplies, all paper products, extra batteries, storage bags, cooking spices and oil, replacement light bulbs, fold up beach wagon, swimming and snorkeling gear, books and vacation guides. Every cooking and dining need was thoughtfully provided. We literally didn't have to purchase or rent any of these things and the supplies easily outlasted our two weeks stay. There was even a welcome basket with a welcome card from the owner and snacks, beverages and a bottle of wine for our stay. The room was beautiful with live orchids and flowers placed throughout the condo. We have never been treated this way by any place we have ever stayed at be it a high-end resort or even someone's home. This made our vacation and 48th anniversary trip truly special, and we not only thank Jeanne for her hospitality, but we are already planning our return next year. Mahalo and Love, Jeff and Debbie

Excellent Place

This has to be the best setup VRBO we have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed and then some. The patio was perfect and very close to the smaller pool which was much quieter than the larger pool and perfect for chilling after some time in the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.l
