This beautifully updated home is a 2 minute walk(5 with small children) from Sullivan Beach. Park at the house and walk right over. The home features 4 bedrooms including 10 beds and a sofabed. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. Main level is open concept, perfect for gathering! The lower level includes a wet bar and den area. The basement has a gameroom and free laundry facilities. Both restrooms include large jetted tubs.

The home has dedicated parking spots that can accommodate 2 boats/trucks.

Great location

Very close to the beach. Plenty of rooms and space. We Just found sand on some beds

Family reunion weekend.

Towel rods or hooks would have been helpful in downstairs bathroom. Shower in same bathroom very difficult to regulate temperature and flow rate. Overall it worked for our family get together. Owner very responsive.

Comfortable nice place minor issues

extention cord, banistersto lower level missing ( safety issue) no soap for dishes or bathing, few dishes, basic items like can opener not present. House needs basic repairs to door and walls

Miller Beach

I had a very nice stay the property was very clean. I loved the location probably would’ve been better if I had rented in the summer because it was a little chilly in the home but otherwise everything was great.

Worst experience

I booked this home for myself and my family for Memorial day weekend. When we arrived the house was filthy. Dishes in the dishwasher. The floor had not been swept let alone mopped. Beds were without pillows. Water leaking from the washer. The artwork from the walls was leaning on the wall with drywall patches on the first floor. The outdoor area had garbage on the ground and it had not been cleaned since last fall. There is not an air hockey table. The host was unconcerned and was too busy with work to deal with the situation. Do yourself a favor and avoid the rental.

Smelled like smoke, dirty, and owner did not help resolve issue

When we entered the VRBO, we were immediately hit with a strong smell of smoke inside the residence. The property was also visibly dirty and not cleaned to any acceptable standard. We contacted the owner right away to report just the smoke issue. My son has asthma so I knew we couldn’t stay. She sent her cleaning lady over to “verify” that it didn’t smell like smoke, but it absolutely did. The odor was strong and unmistakable. Based on the condition of the rental, we left within 20 minutes of arriving and did not stay the night.Despite leaving immediately and making the owner aware of the situation, we were denied any refund—partial or full. Communication before booking was already poor, and that continued afterward.I’ve opened a formal case with VRBO to report this experience. I strongly recommend that others do not stay here—it was a frustrating and disappointing situation all around I only got a few pictures of the house since when i was there for such a short period. I will post them below

It is not remotely close to the same condition that is shown as the pictures in the listing. The best thing I can say about the place is that it is in walking distance to the beach. The patio looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since those pictures were taken. The house smells of cigarette smoke and one of the bedrooms had an odor of marijuana. Some of us had trouble with asthma and coughing during our stay. The bunk beds are absolutely not sturdy. They sway and rock with even the slightest touch. The floors and walls are beat up and it was given a messy touch-up paint job. There are holes in walls and doors, dirty baseboards and floors. The pictures are leaned up against walls in the places where they should be hung up. The host failed to give us the code to get in to the house when we arrived so we waited around for a while until we got a response back. There are safety issues with the home. Smoke alarms are not all installed. The stove/oven barely works. When you turn it on it fills the house with a nasty odor and it takes about twice the amount of time it should to cook. The frozen pizza we put in took 40 minutes and still wasn’t completely cooked. The oven door is broke on the front. The refrigerator and freezer does NOT work. We ended up having to throw all our food away because it was warm by the next morning we woke up. I messaged the host prior to our stay about the negative reviews and he lied stating that the home was back in order. Don’t waste your time or money!

It was nice being so close to the water.

We spent a weekend up here and really enjoyed our stay. We contacted the host about some minor issues around the home and they replied quickly. The Game room needs a little work it wasnt really able to be used because of some repairs needing to be done, it looks like past guests didn't treat it so well. Overall the house was beautiful. Being so close to the water was awesome and it was absolutely beautiful. We will stay here again in the future.

Disappointing and Misleading

The listing was not as described. Several key features mentioned (like the air hockey table, arcade games, and all TVs) were either missing or not functioning. The home was not clean upon arrival — there were dirty linens on all beds throughout the home with even hair on the sheets. There was a musty smell throughout the house and the bedroom with the king size bed smelled of cigarette smoke. The reviews and pictures online of the home did not match the current conditions of the home. The location and upgrades were very nice, but there was chipped paint, several holes in the walls, broken bathroom door, food on plates and overall very dirty. We had a two day stay for 914, but unfortunately we decided to leave a day early due to the condition of the property and the horrible smell. We reached out to the host to let them know of the issues. They apologized for not letting us know about the damage and offered a 50 credit for a future stay. This property listing was so very disappointing that we would not book again or recommend it to anyone.
