Escape to Mohawk Mountain Lodge, a private log home in the woods near Williamsport, PA. This relaxing retreat comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Enjoy a spacious deck overlooking a pond, an indoor gas fireplace, and a smokeless fire pit under the stars. Perfect for families and groups seeking a serene getaway with convenient access to local attractions.

     • Living Area: Unwind by the warm glow of the indoor gas fireplace, set in a beautiful stone hearth.

     • Outdoor Living: Sip your morning coffee on the spacious deck overlooking a peaceful pond, or gather your group around the smokeless fire pit for an evening of conversation and s’mores under the stars.

      • Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 8):

               * Main Bedroom: King bed with an ensuite bathroom upstairs.

               * Second Bedroom: Queen bed on the first floor.

               * Third Bedroom: Bunk beds, perfect for kids, are on the first floor.

           * Loft: Flexible space with a comfortable sofa bed upstairs.

Guests will enjoy private, exclusive access to the entire house and the landscaped yard area surrounding the home and barn.

     • Self Check-in: A unique access code for keyless entry will be emailed to you on the day of your arrival for a seamless check-in experience.

     • Restricted Areas: For the preservation of local wildlife and for your safety, we ask that you do not wander too far into the woods. Access to the interior of the barn/garage is not permitted.

     • Early Check-in / Late Check-out: These may be available for a fee, subject to availability.

We respect our guests' privacy and offer a self-check-in process. While we won't be present during your stay, we are available via the app or phone if you have any questions or need assistance. 

For winter stays from December through February, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is strongly recommended. The lodge is located on a private mountain road,  and conditions can become challenging with snow and ice. Your safety is  our priority, so please plan accordingly.

Was looking for a place with a cozy cabin vibe and this was absolutely perfect! Amenities were over the top, beds were surprisingly super comfortable, visually beautiful. Rented it for the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with friends and they even had a small tree up! Couches were comfortable, fireplace was perfect. Table for our games (game were even provided!) with a big tv right above it. Coolest aspect is the bridge like hallway that over looks the living room. Not to mention the place was cleaned spotless. Really really neat place, and I’d absolutely come back

Nature Hideaway

Perfect blend of modern amenities in a rustic package. The location felt very secluded/private while being only minutes from the city. The lodge was roomy and inviting and the spacious patio made it easy to sit and visit with family/friends from the area.

Cami was an excellent host! The house was perfect. The setting was beautiful and relaxing. Very much enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching nature. Saw many deer walking through the woods and yard. Everyone enjoyed their stay and would absolutely stay again.

The home was so well kept and presented. Everything was provided, we could not have asked for more. Such a quiet setting, after spending the day at the Little League games. We are hoping to return next year. Also our hosts could not have been more kind.

This Vrbo was absolutely stunning! This by far has been the cleanest and most accommodating Vrbo I have ever stayed in! I would recommend this place.

Everything was good. Weather had an effect on hiking but that could not be helped. The only issue I saw was the stairs had no banister on one side that made it a risk going up and down. I would come back in the fall before the weather changed. I would also mention to people who come up on the winter to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I also appreciated the sand on the driveway because my car could not go up the driveway without that help.

Gorgeous cabin retreat

We loved how peaceful and quiet our stay was at Cami and Chad’s gorgeous cabin. They provided every amenity you would need during your stay. The property is secluded enough while still being really easy to access and get to/from downtown. We wish we could have booked for longer but we hope to come back soon.

Quiet retreat in the woods

Rustic cabin with a lot of character and charm. Very nicely kept and extremely considerate to the needs of the renters. Communication with the owners was clear, concise and extremely easy. Overall a very pleasant stay Anna experience.

Beautiful retreat

We enjoyed our stay. Close to PCT but a retreat away. So Spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Cooked 2 meals and had everything we needed. Entire home was well stocked. Would definitely return again.

Relaxing retreat near Williamsport

Well-appointed house situated on a peaceful property with views and trails. Perfect for our group, including elder and dog, to stretch out and cook in while visiting family in the area. Gravel road up the hill could be tricky certain times of year but was well-maintained and fine to traverse in early spring. Flat area around house was great for grandma to get to walk a bit and we all enjoyed soaking up the sun on the deck.

Mini Vacation

My family and I were in town visiting our uncle whom came in for California and family who lives in Williamsport. This cabin was in the percent location being up in the woods but city life 5 minutes away. Cami was amazing with answering any questions and making sure this home had everything we needed! If you want to bring your fur babies she even had doggy treats! Definitely recommend this home away from home!

Fabulous Fall Family Stay

We had a wonderful time on the mountain! Everything was very welcoming and well appointed! Some folks in our party had to work a bit and there was good internet and flat surfaces for that. Kitchen was great and we especially loved the coffee station and the kitschy trash can!! The decor overall was lovely. Beds are firm and bedding was very good quality! We really loved spending time on the deck and used the solo camp stove for a sit around evening. Laundry was clean and convenient. Lots of board games and family things to do provided. And thanks for welcoming our family members of the furry variety too!! Bowls and biscuits were really appreciated!! Thanks for having us- we will book again when we are in town visiting family again!

Weekend Getaway/Parents Weekend at PCT

Our family of 4, along with our dog, very much enjoyed our stay at the Mohawk Mountain Lodge during Parent’s Weekend at PCT. The home was spotless when we arrived and has a very cool layout with an open hallway overlooking the living room and dining room. Bathrooms are well appointed with luxurious towels as well as shower essentials. We didn’t cook much there but the kitchen seemed to be well appointed. We very much appreciated have a Keurig machine to use and the host provided pods, creamers, etc. The host was very thoughtful in leaving us wood for the outdoor smokeless fire pit as well as everything we needed for s’mores. They also provided treats for our dog. Part of the deck is covered, which worked out so great for us as we were able to enjoy time outside, despite the drizzly weather during our stay. When we had questions the host always responded in a very timely manner, which was appreciated. We loved everything about the Mohawk Mountain Lodge and have no negative comments. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We are naturally attentive hosts, and our intention is to create a peaceful, comfortable retreat where guests can slow down and feel completely at ease. My husband and I enjoy thoughtfully restoring and refining special properties, and this cabin has been a joy to care for, both inside and out. Every detail is chosen with comfort and character in mind. We hope our guests feel the same sense of calm and connection here that we do, and leave feeling rested and renewed.

Mohawk Mountain Lodge is nestled in the woods, offering seclusion and tranquility but is centrally located and close to many activities! It is located less than 5 miles away from the Susquehanna River where you can float in a canoe, ride in a kayak or take a ride on the Hiawatha. It's only a short 8-minute drive to the center of Williamsport Less than 10 minutes to Journey Bank Ball Park at Historic Bowman Field to watch the Crosscutters play baseball in the MLS Draft League during the summer. 5 miles to Penn College and 7 miles to Lycoming College. Only 10 miles from the Little League World Series Stadium where you can watch the World Series in August or visit the fields and museum throughout the year. 17 miles to Rider Park for hiking, bird watching and enjoying nature. 20 miles to Clyde Peeling's Reptiland to visit their display of dinosaurs and see many different live retiles. Its located 23 miles to Lockhaven University and 1 hour to Beaver Stadium, State College. Enjoy watching a football game and sitting amount the other 100,000 fans that fill the stadium to cheer on the Nittany Lions!
