This is a lovely home. It was very comfortable for our family of six. We loved the proximity to the beach and the town and we are already talking about returning.

It was a good weekend vacation, except for Friday-- construction on houses on either side of us. Noise created problems for my 11-month-old grandson who needed naps throughout the day. I should have been told about this before I signed a rental agreement. The curtain rod in the upstairs east bedroom was missing a screw-- not our fault. I had only one try to get the front door unlocked with the code. I failed and the beeping sound was incessant until I called property management to rectify the issue. TV programming was less than optimal.

The communication from the beginning was very thorough. We arrived late and had no troubles accessing the house. The house was clean and had plenty of towels, sheets, blankets in the closets. Upon entering the house there was a bedroom with a bathroom and three beds and then you walk up stairs to the main living portion of the home. The kitchen was clean and had all the amenities we needed for the week. We didn't cook but appreciated what was there. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house as we were busy exploring the coast of Oregon but the location of the home was incredible. We walked to Manzanita via the beach every morning for coffee and pastries. We drove to Cannon Beach in the evening for dinner. All the hiking, beaches, crabbing and shops we wanted to experience were all within a simple drive. We have already started looking at the calendar for a time to rebook and find new discoveries in Oregon.

Walking the beach into Manzanita every morning for coffee and pastries sounds like the ideal way to start a day on the Oregon coast. We're glad the home was clean and well stocked, that arriving late was no trouble, and that the location put the hiking, beaches, and Cannon Beach dinners all within easy reach.
