Wow- this place is truly special. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The property is as described and the beds, linens etc are very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids, as was the water trampoline. We snorkeled in the bay next door and saw sea turtles, sting rays, and lots of conch. We rented a car from the host which was super helpful and seamless. Would recommend stopping in Governors Harbor on your way in to get groceries. We had a wonderful dinner at Wild Orchids in Rock Sound as well. Thanks for a memorable stay Chris!

A amazing house, view and vacation! The house truly had everything you could need! There are so many fun things to do at the house and around there you barely need to leave the house! We kayaked through the mangroves, paddle boarded, laid by the pool and snorkeled out at the reefs in winding Bay. Our fourth trip to Eleuthera and far away our favorite place we’ve stayed!

Host Chris was always quick to reply. He answered all of our questions and concerns. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with the property. Its absolutely gorgeous and the ocean view from the patio is breath taking. Would rent again in a heart beat! Loved every thing about it and every minute we spent there. 10 out of 10. Thanks for such an amazing vacation with the family!

Friends trip

The property was spectacular with great areas for hanging out and especially with amazing speakers everywhere on the property. Also with a plenty of kayaks we were able to take bigger groups out to the reef right in the bay. We will definitely visit again.

Coconut cove getaway

We recently stayed here with our two children over spring break. The property was absolutely beautiful! It’s difficult to put into words how tranquil this home truly is. The kids weren’t ever bored and hand plenty of activities to do both on and off the property. We absolutely recommend this if you a in need of a peaceful/beautiful getaway.

Absolute Paradise

We stayed at Coconut Cove in Eleuthera from June 11th to the 20th, and I can honestly say it was the best experience of my life in the Bahamas. The home is absolutely beautiful—immaculately maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our own private piece of paradise. The attention to detail throughout the house made it clear the owners truly care about their guests’ comfort and experience. If you’re considering a trip to Eleuthera, don’t hesitate—Coconut Cove is where unforgettable memories are made. I can’t wait to return

Coconut Cove Christmas

We stayed at this wonderful property over the Christmas holiday, and enjoyed every minute! From the beachfront location to the pool and spa, this property provided everything we could want to make our Holiday enjoyable. We had the beach to ourselves as turtles and stingrays swam in the water around our feet, and the warm trade winds flowed through buildings with large, sliding doors. Multiple refrigerators were available for beverage storage, and the large deck was a perfect playground for our 2-yr-old grandson. The property was clean and the manager was extremely helpful with any questions we had. We've been to a lot of ocean-side properties, but this one was one of the best we've seen! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful home and grounds

Unfortunately for us there was a hurricane stirring up in the Bahamas during our visit in mid October. The storm created lots of wind and seaweed along the shore in front of the property. Although his workers tried to clean up the beach it was impossible to stop the seaweed from covering the beach. Chris informed us of a back road that took us to some calmer waters where we were able to spend some fun water time.

We have stayed in Winding Bay several times many years ago. This is a relatively new home that includes a 4 bedroom guest house so a great amount of space for all ages. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and all the living areas perfect for those late afternoons before dinner. Outside space is incredible with a huge deck, picnic tables, lounges, chairs, covered area, kayaks, paddle boards, water trampoline, and water toys. There is a large bar/grill area with outdoor tv as well. We rented the large Suburban which the owner had left for us at the airport and was perfect for 7 of us and all our luggage. Winding Bay is the perfect spot if you want to spear lobster and/or fish as it is on the ocean side but protected from the Atlantic. We had lobster ever. single. night. Please note the season opens there on August 1st. This home was just great for our family with ages 6 - 75. The host, Chris, is outstanding and will communicate immediately if asked a question or have a concern. We would do a repeat visit to this compound. As our six year old said, "let's go home for two days and then come back." I agree. Thank you, Chris. It was a terrific vacation.

After a terrible experience, here is the text message from Chris the host: “I deeply apologize about the initial power issue. We really value our ratings and string for the highest customer satisfaction. If there is anything I can do to preserve/help our 5 star review from you. Pls let me know. Even if it is some sort of compensation.” “I could agree to refunding 1 night stay (1k) for a 5 star review on the platform once posted.”Beware of any rating you see from any properties managed by Chris!

Unbelievable. Scam guest. Left review over a week after(guessing they saw the credit card bill) and tried to scam vrbo and myself out of money for fake allegations, fake texts, etc. Honestly, no words. Just read reviews. The place exceeds expectations always. Ask guests. Never had an idea this was going to be a scam as i rated the great as there was zero issues during stay. Just Unbelievable. If you cant afford a vacation, dont take it. Dont try to scam vrbo and hosts. Working with vrbo to get review removed
