loved our stay at Sungate

Stayed at the Sungate property with another family of 4. This was our first visit to Eleuthera and the other family we traveled with visits annually. Our host, Marco, was very responsive before the trip when we reached out with questions and was also very responsive and helpful during our trip. He was a thoughtful host, dropping off fresh, local fruit for us to try and extra coffee. The property was clean and spacious. Our kids (teens and tweens) loved all of the game options (pool, skee-ball, air hockey) and the movie room. The house location was great - right on the beach and just a short drive to town. The house also had paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, sand toys, masks, fins and more - offering so many ways to enjoy the beach and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sungate!

A Real Gem

We had one of the best vacations ever at Sungate.The beach is gorgeous, and we had it entirely to ourselves. The near constant breeze and large shaded patio ensured it was pleasant to sit on the beach or poolside all day even in the middle of summer. We barely spent any time inside! It was so nice I even slept outside a couple nights so I could fall asleep listening to the waves and looking up at the stars.The house itself is well maintained, well stocked, spacious, and extremely comfortable. It's a great place to relax, and downstairs is set up with all kinds of fun activities.Marco and Yani are fabulous hosts. Marco immediately responded to all our questions both before and during our trip. He even reached out proactively to let us know about a short power outage on the island (which we didn't even notice because the house has solar panels and a battery backup). When we asked them if they had a karaoke machine they overnighted us one! We were fortunate enough to meet them on the last day of our trip and they're just as nice in person.Eleuthera is a wonderful place, and we'll definitely be returning. When we do, Sungate will be our first choice for where to stay.

Great for families

There was something for everyone at Sungate. Our group consisted of 2 families with 7 kids ranging from 5 - 13 yrs old. Beautiful double bay beach to walk on. Beautiful sunrise from the master and living or porch/deck. Great coral to snorkel around. Everyone loved hanging out in and by the pool. Moms found books inside to read. Played games and watched movies at night. Great kitchen to cook in. Made some wonderful memories at Sungate. Thank you Marco!

Wonderful Beachfront House & Great Host

Wonderful house with a gorgeous beachfront location. Excellent, quiet and very relaxing part of the island. Very nice pool and outdoor areas with pleasant seating. Lots of space and bedrooms and bathrooms. Very nicely appointed house with good furniture and decore, and a well stockwd kitchen. Downstairs has great array of fun games for all ages: pool table, table tennis, air hockey, ski ball, arcade game, darts and so on. Host Marco was very easy to work with and very helpful and readily available.Wonderful week at Sungate and Hope to return again sometime soon.

FANTASTIC Stay at Sungate Estate

My family and I spent 5 nights at the beautiful Sungate Estate. It was as perfect of a stay as I could have asked for. Yani and Marco were extraordinary hosts, they were extremely responsive, helpful, and did not hesitate to recommend us activities and contacts to enjoy the Island of Eleuthera!! The house was a perfect space for us. Plenty of room for 8 people to explore the beach out front, snorkel the crystal clear waters, relax on the sundeck, and truly disconnect from the world.I cannot recommend this property enough for anyone who may be toying with the idea of an Eleuthera getaway.Thanks Yani and Marco!!!

My beautiful stay at Sungate!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sungate in North Eluthera, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. This property is a perfect tropical oasis for both friends and family, offering a spacious, beautifully maintained home right on the beach. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a haven of relaxation and adventure.From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the abundant amenities. The home features a gym, movie room and a pool table for friendly competition, making it ideal for both staying active and unwinding with fun games. The new sun deck around the pool is an absolute highlight, perfect for lazy, sun-soaked days where you can simply soak in the warm Caribbean sun and enjoy breathtaking views of the sparkling ocean.The location is unbeatable. With direct beach access, the gentle sound of the waves became a constant, soothing backdrop. The property also offers kayaks for exploring the coastline, and the snorkeling spots are simply amazing!! It provides endless opportunities to discover vibrant marine life and clear turquoise waters.Marco & Yani have clearly poured their heart and soul into creating this beautiful and welcoming retreat. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests shine through in every aspect of the property. From the inviting interiors to the charming outdoor spaces, every element of Sungate is designed to make you feel at home.I would highly recommend Sungate to everyone. TY!

Amazing!

Our stay at this stunning 7-bedroom oceanfront house in Eleuthera was nothing short of magical! Each bedroom having its own bathroom provided a level of comfort and privacy that was perfect for our group. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring we all had restful nights.The large pool was a highlight, surrounded by a beautiful sundeck and lush palm trees, making it the ideal spot for relaxation. Plus, the two large TVs were perfect for watching our sports games, adding to the fun.All of us enjoyed long walks on the pristine white sandy beach and snorkeling and swimming in the clear blue ocean right in front of our house. The property is incredibly spacious, ensuring that we had plenty of privacy — we never saw a neighbor during our stay! Waking up to the breathtaking sunrises and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean was a dream come true.We loved the amenities, especially the gym ping pong and the pool table, which kept everyone entertained. This house is a true gem in the Bahamas, and we can't wait to return!
