We had a great stay at the property. David and Linda are great hosts. We had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay for a week of fun at Saratoga. David was prompt and helpful with answers to questions. We would stay here again.

Incredible property! By far the best VRBO I have ever experienced. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I had made a good decision. The house is gorgeous, impeccably decorated, and spacious! The split floor plan allows for the three large bedrooms to be separated from one another for maximum privacy if traveling with a group. Functional kitchen with anything you could need for staying in and cooking meals. Beautiful spa-caliber bathrooms. The location is also perfect. It is an easy walk to the racetrack and an easy walk to/from the restaurants and shopping on and near Broadway. About a three minute drive to a very nice supermarket too.Finally, the hosts, David and Linda, are terrific people who are eager to ensure you are comfortable at all times. I give this property 20/10 stars and can’t wait to return.

Perfect getaway

This home is a sanctuary. So lovely and quiet and well cared for. We would stay here any time we come to Saratoga.

A great getaway for families with plenty of space and all the comforts of home

We stayed 2 weeks in this beautiful and comfy home and it was a great place to host my parents. The 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, gave everyone their own space, while other parts of the house provided space to gather. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to downtown and the grill to cook family meals. The hosts are caring, responsive, and attentive and seek to provide the best experience.

Like a home away from home

The house was excellently appointed, spacious and comfortable. It felt like you were in a home, not a rental property. The three bedrooms and three baths, allowed for privacy for three adults (or couples). Host was friendly and helpful. Lovely neighborhood, convenient to most everything SS has to offer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Saratoga flat

We spent a wonderful Christmas vacation in this flat, which is in an ideal location in Saratoga. We loved walking around the beautiful neighborhood and getting coffee at The Bread Basket. We appreciated how spacious and comfortable it was; we had room to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed being able to host my family for a get together even though we were in a rental. The owners, who are just upstairs, were very responsive and gracious hosts. We would definitely stay again!

Saratoga Gen

3 couples stratifies 5 nights. The house is within walking distance to everything including track, restaurants and 2 markets. David and Linda were quick to answer questions. Great outdoor space that we utilized everyday. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and felt like home. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, great location, perfect for a few couples

Lovely and charming home within walking distance of most everything Saratoga Springs has to offer. Owner was great with communication. Three nice bedrooms, each with its own bath, meant everyone was very comfortable. Outdoor spaces were wonderful, with nice sitting areas, and a hot tub in the back, private area. Lovely plantings and lawns as well. To top it all off, well behaved pets are welcome, and our dog, Elvis, loved the place - and being close to Congress Park for walking, and so many dog-friendly places to eat and drink it made for a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend.

Close to downtown and a wonderful place to stay!

Dave and Linda were excellent hosts for this wonderful home. The house has everything you need, with the kitchen being well appointed to cook a meal, and plenty of blankets and towels. There is a large grass area, a nice outdoor seating with a grill and hot tub to use. The home was decorated with beautiful art and furnishings. The house was very clean and welcoming the minute we walked in. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to downtown where there are many excellent restaurants and shops. Also only minutes away from SPAC and the track. One of the best VRBO's we have stayed in and when traveling back to Saratoga Springs-we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful renovated home in the perfect location

This is a beautiful property in a great location for racing fans in the summer. Everything was clean and updated. This is an old home with great bones and very creative updating for a really comfortable stay. It is a short walk to the main strip on Broadway and a 10-minute walk to the track. A nice and responsive owner. What is not to like? Thank you for a great week!

The best holiday season stay ever!

This house is just amazing! The moment we came inside, we realized this is not yet another place to stay. Right away you see the attention to every little detail in interior - pictures, furniture, decor. Everything in this house tells you how much love and care the owner put into it. We felt like we've been truly welcomed in this house and we really appreciated overall experience. It was honestly well beyond our expectations! Needless to say, all the amenities we could think of were there, and location is just perfect!

We enjoyed a family reunion at this beautiful Saratoga home in a perfect in-town location. Super responsive owners, great communication throughout, spotless, well-equipped. I HIGHLY recommend this property and hope to stay here again. Now for the CONS: 1) The house is definitely NOT a “5 minute walk to track” as advertised; it’s much more a 20-25 minute walk but definitely walkable it is and no parking hassles at the track! 2) There is a rentable apartment upstairs that was not disclosed to us. When we were there it was rented by a gentleman who we never saw and only briefly heard, it would’ve been nice to have been warned about this beforehand. 3) A new house was being built in the front yard of this property during our stay, it was well underway, but this construction was NOT disclosed to us until the day we paid our final payment. Obviously the homeowners had to know about this impending construction right out their front door many months in advance (certainly they had to have been notified throughout the permitting process), but never disclosed it until final payment. Construction started at or before 7 am each day. We were not on the property much past breakfast each day, so it wasn’t as much a nuisance as it might have been, but still felt a little “duped” for not having been told beforehand. BUT THE OWNER MADE IT RIGHT: We asked for, and received, a small break in the rental price, which we appreciated and was the right thing to do. Otherwise, a great stay.

Thank you for your positive 5-star response! When we advertise a 5-10 minute walk, that is not inaccurate as that is what it takes us to cover the ~1/2 mile in either direction. As for the construction, it is hard to predict when others will be doing their work, and this particular side of town has been extremely busy with infill projects over the past year or two. These homes should all be well done and owner occupied before the track season next year. We were glad to provide a break in your rent due to the early hours, we try our best to make our tenants happy. We hope to see you again!

Perfect biking getaway

The hosts were very accommodating to our bicycling group, providing safe storage for our bikes. After a challenging bike ride, we were rewarded with wonderful showers, (one for each bed room) and some quality hot tub time. The kitchen was equipped beyond belief for a rental. The location was central to all that the town has to offer by foot! Amazing private outdoor spaces, ample parking and spacious indoor accommodations. We loved it.

Great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David's place. What a wonderful house! And you can't beat the location. Short walk into town and the racetrack. Everything worked and was as advertised. No surprises, other than pleasant ones.

Great experience!

The Eastside Grand Dame is a wonderful home. It has All the charming characteristics of an older home but it has been updated to provide the modern conveniences we have all become accustomed to - bathrooms with great water pressure, even Air Conditioning flow throughout the house, new kitchen appliances, including dishwasher. All the furniture is comfortable and attractive, it is a very pleasant home to stay in. The house is emaculate and clutter free. The terrace seating area is private because of a hedge that surrounds the property, the terrace furniture is very comfortable. The owners provided a lot of helpful information about the house and the area. They were also available to call or text with any question we may have had. We enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend the house!
