Classic beach cottage

This was our second year staying at this cottage. It’s charming and in a convenient location. My kids love it here!

True Cape Cottage

This cottage was exactly what I was looking for Dark wood floors that creek and lots and lots of windows and light and a view of the water … It’s perfect for a small family Has everything you need and I love the location so close to town and to the beach The cottage was full of all the necessities and so nice linens were included Very pleased with the entire cottage and vrbo

Authentic Cape Cod Summer Cottage

We had a great stay. This is an authentic Cape Cod summer cottage, on Outermost Harbor marina, with a view of the ocean from every room. Rustic and charming, well supplied with everything for a vacation by the beach. Bike to town and beaches. No AC. Fresh ocean breeze.

Exactly as described, and beautiful! Old school 'Cape Cottage' beautiful interior wood walls and beams, favorable breezes through the windows and an easy walk to Lighthouse Beach for swimming, walking on the beach shell hunting, seal watching, enjoying the sun and sand. Osprey neighbors raising their chicks on the light pole next door was an added bonus! Early risers will always get a great sunrise! The communication was easy and responsive. We hope to return! Worth noting that the marina around the corner has a 24-hour ice vending machine, always important for keeping your cooler cold on those hot, sunny beach days

Great Vintage Cape Retreat

This place was really cool. Location is amazing and its a classic old-school cape vacation home. Definitely rustic but that is what we were looking for. We used the outdoor shower every day and the beach chairs/toys were a definite plus. We made good use of the outdoor shower and my kids loved the house. Also, you can't beat being right on the water/marina.

Get to know Chatham

We loved our week on the tip of Chatham. It was the perfect size for my husband and I and 4 teenagers who took the upstairs bedrooms! We loved being able to walk to town, walk to the beach and even take a boat ride to a secluded beach. The house was clean and had just what we needed. The owners got right back to me when the tv didn’t work! Thanks for a great Cape getaway!

Excellent location, classic beach cottage

My family and I had a fantastic time at this cottage. The location was peaceful yet convenient to town. The views were incredible. We would stay here again, unequivocally.

Quiet cozy cottage by the Marina

Lovely old cottage, lots of windows to feel the ocean breeze, quiet mornings, an easy walk to the beach at low tide. Clean and simple decor adds to the peaceful feeling.

Amazing week!

We had the most wonderful week staying at Courtney's beautiful home! The home is so lovely! Just minutes (walk) to a small tidal beach where we spent everyday! Happy hours there at sunset were magical! We ended up staying there the week of a hurricane and Courtney could not have been more caring, available, and ready to be flexible around our check-in day due to the storm. She literally has been a complete joy through the entire rental process start to finish. I can not recommend this home more highly! Just an absolutely incredible experience!

Amazing little gem!

This spot is SO cool, is the perfect cabin for a getaway and in an incredible location! The views of the water and boats are awesome, and it was absolutely immaculate! Would stay again anytime!

Mid June getaway

The house was absolutely lovely, very clean, comfortable beds with very nice bedding. Courtney has obviously put a good deal of thought and effort into the decor. The location can’t be beat. There is public beach access across the street at the condominiums, best at low tide. The marina across the street was quiet and it felt very private. At night walking the dog we were startled to come face to face with a seal in the marina! We hope to visit next year.

Charming Cape vacation on the water

Very happy with our choice: the cottage was bigger than we needed as a couple, but cozy and had everything we needed for a week on the Cape. Location was quiet and right on the water, lots of beach walks nearby, also close to center of Chatham. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Much Needed Getaway During COVID

Had an absolute blast. Really couldn't beat the location. Literally -40 mins or less from everything we wanted to do & and a 7 min walk from Lighthouse Beach. We played golf all over the Cape every morning, and got breakfast in Chatham most days. Got up to Provincetown to go on a whale Watch, and quick trips to the Vineyard and Nantucket. We did bring our own sheets, cleaning supplies, fans and cookware out of an abundance of caution but we prob didn't need to. We knew going in that there was no AC and while yes, nighttime helps and the breeze off the water is nice, even with all of the windows open, We came over a humid week so there we definitely some rough nights sleeping that the only way to describe as "moist." We didn't spend much time inside to begin with, so wasn't the biggest deal to us, but definitely would bring an extra fan if you need a cool place to sleep. Loved the location and set up. really fit our needs well and we felt very safe and clean staying in Chatham. Owners were very responsive and accommodating as well.

This is a beautiful house in a wonderful location!

The cottage is perfect and special. The location is great! There is a wonderful private beach within walking distance. The outdoor shower is awesome! Everything about this cottage is amazing! The owners are so helpful and responsive too!

So Relaxing

We love this cottage so much. Spacious, breezy bedrooms. The cottage has everything we need. To avoid contact with the outside world, we cooked all of our meals. Ate at the lovely dining room table overlooking the marina. Then retired to a perfect living room for games. Walk to the beach is so simple, and the beach is a secret spot, away from the crowds. We’ll be back next year!

Chatham charmer!

Once again we had an absolutely amazing time at the McConnells outermost gem! Location, location! A peaceful oasis away from the hub bub on main st, close enough to get in the mix for dinner or shopping. Have to stress how cozy and comfy this cottage is, beds SO comfortable, no backaches from this place! Everything you need. LOVE this place, cant wait to come back!!!

Awesome little beach house

We love this beach house. It’s a terrific location and the owners have stocked it with everything you could need. It has old school charm, with lovely navy and blue decor. The bedroom setup allows us to take maximum advantage.

Chatham charmer!

We loved this cottage! Not fancy however so Cape Cod! The location is what is so awesome, the outermost harbor, marina, morris island and the monomy reserve are such hidden gems and makes for a peaceful stay. Beautiful breeze from the ocean keeps house cool. Also the beds must all be new as they were heaven! The upstairs king was more comfortable than my bed at home!!! The decor was also all updated with comfortable seating. Kitchen was cute. All in all I would definately recomend this house and I love a place that doesnt have 10 pages of instructions, I think the McConnells are probably my kind of people!! And I enjoyed the wine they left for us at the house,class act!. Great place to rent in Chatham!!!

Charming old world Cape charm

My 4 kids and I stayed here for a week and are absolutely in love with this cottage. The homeowners have thought of everything. Some rentals have "rental furniture", but this cottage is furnished beautifully with plenty of seating in the living room for our evening board games and card games. The rooms are big and airy, and with all the windows open, the breeze off the ocean offers the perfect temp and air for a great night sleep. Beds are super comfy and the sheets and towels provided are really nice. The kitchen has everything you'll need, and we cooked most nights. Thanks Mike and Courtney for a wonderful stay and for all the great communication. We can't wait for next year!

Cute cottage close to Lighthouse beach

Beautiful cape style cottage, about 5-7 minutes walk to Lighthouse beach and right next to the marina. All necessities provided: towels, washer/ dryer, dishwasher, and plenty of space for 7 people (there are 5 beds in the house). Note that this is not the place if you expect swanky, luxurious setting with marble-inlaid baths. This is a typical cape-style cottage with wood paneling inside, and the charm and character that comes along with it. All in all, we had a great time at the cape, and I would recommend for a family that wants to be walking distance from Lighthouse beach.

Lovely stay at a lovely cottage!

From the moment we pulled up to Courtney's cottage... we felt at home. Every detail was thought of for our group of four, even though it could have accommodated so many more! From the many encoutrements in the kitchen, to all of the beach toys and chairs for us to enjoy... Courtney left nothing out! We really enjoyed every morning having the Marina at our fingertips! After riding our bikes to the bakery to pick up our favorite yummy's, we would bring them back to enjoy them with our coffee while watching the boats on the harbor. The location couldn't have been better! A couple of mornings we rode our bikes to Lighthouse beach for Yoga... and then a couple of other mornings we rode to church! The pictures don't do it justice... the vaulted ceilings in the cottage were incredibly lovely and it was decorated perfectly... thank you Courtney. We truly couldn't have had a better time.
