Private cottage in Upper Rockridge! This cozy and comfortable stand-alone studio cottage offers a peaceful stay in one of Oakland’s most desirable and walkable neighborhoods. The charming unit is completely separate from the main house and has its own entrance through a gate leading to a quiet backyard garden with a sitting area just for cottage guests.

Inside, you'll find two twin beds with new mattresses and plush down comforters, a small sitting area, a work desk, and reliable WiFi. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, and toaster oven—perfect for preparing simple meals and snacks during your stay.

Please note: the twin beds are on antique frames that cannot support heavy weight and cannot be moved or rearranged. This is a STUDIO unit.

We live in the front house and respect your privacy—you're welcome to enjoy your stay undisturbed, though we’re happy to help if you need anything.

The neighborhood is friendly, ideal for peaceful walks and watching the sun set over San Francisco. You’re just 10 minutes from UC Berkeley, 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco, and about an hour from Napa Valley (without traffic).

To preserve the tranquility of the area, we kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors. We love our neighbors, and we appreciate your help in being considerate.

One well-behaved dog may be welcome with prior approval, but they must not be left alone in the cottage and aren't allowed on the furniture.
