We have been coming here for a number of years. Joy is a terrific host- very responsive. The place is very well run . It is also very convenient for the beach and to local amenities and attractions. Would definitely recommend to others!

Not only is it a 5 minute walk to the beach its also a short walk to an amazing ice cream shop. We enjoyed the screened in front porch and back patio with grill. We found everything we needed the in the kitchen. It's a cute beach house.

I cannot say enough about how much we love this property! 2027 marked our second stay at this home and it was perfect for two young kids and two adults. The house itself is spacious, the outdoor patio is perfect for morning crafts and coffee. Then we do a quick walk to the beach, get some sun at the neighboring playground, and rinse off in the backyard outdoor shower. The property is amazing. The location cannot be beat, and Joy is an incredibly thoughtful host from check in to check out - she was available for every question about the town and the house. We cannot wait to come back next summer to this special little space by the beach.

Wonderful vacation

It’s just like going home again to stay in Mattituck! The cottage is close to the beach and cozy. Love this place!

The property was definitely pet-friendly with a beautifully sized backyard. The entire space was very clean. The host is awesome and we were in constant communication during my stay. It is truly a comfy and cozy cottage.

What a little slice of heaven! Very clean and comfortable. Just a block from a private beach. This beach house has everything you need and has unique features that make you feel like home.

Great house and location !

Property charming , comfy and very well appointed . Owner was very responsive and accommodating . Loved the LI Aquarium close by and great walking trails .

Perfect little getaway

We loved our stay at this perfect little beach house. The beach, porch, backyard and loft made for a perfect relaxing getaway. My kids cant wait to go back!!

Great get- away

This was a great experience ...everything was exactly as Joy said it would be...this was our first time visiting this charming community ...we will definitely recommend Joy's little paradise!!

Awesome spot and great host!

Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Walking distance to beach and easy walk up for local food and groceries. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive!

This was our second year staying at the house and it was another wonderful week. The house is clean, has everything you need, and is convenient to everything. The beach is close and the water is calm for young children. The host is great; she is friendly and provides all information up front and is available if needed.

Great End of Summer stay!!

Loved the home and location along with all the convenient amenities. Great to enjoy my childhood hometown area and the gorgeouse beaches with local friends. So relaxing and enjoyable!! Joy was a great host.

This place was amazing. I had a medical procedure done in Glen Cove and needed to remain in the area for follow up. The beds and furniture were super comfortable, the kitchen had all the things we needed, it was just delightfully pretty and soothing, lovely quiet neighborhood, the morning walks to the beach with coffee was such a nice treat and Joy was super responsive. The area, the vineyards, markets, and community is 10/10 stunning, would absolutely love to stay here again someday!

Our lovely vacation

We enjoyed our vacation very much. The owners are lovely people- very accommodating. The cottage is very close to a beautiful private bay beach and walking distance to a large mall and amenities, restaurants and wineries. We would definitely return again!

serene beach cottage

Cozy and relaxing. Quiet location with beautiful view just down the street. In the summer, the big screened-in porch must be wonderful.

Serene and convenient

Excellent property in a beautiful location. The owners are attentive, wonderfully cooperative and helpful, and they keep their house immaculate. This is a fabulous property for people who want to kick back and enjoy peace and quiet in a gorgeous, convenient setting.
