The house is throughly cleaned between renters so if they kept their socks on it would be from dirt brought into the house The air conditioning unit was serviced in May .. however the entire North Eastern America was under air quality issues last week due to the Canadian wildfires. If there were any issues with water pressure issues, it was addressed with the guest as there is a button on the water head, which increases water flow, and this was discussed with him prior to his rental The only issue in this review which has substantial merit is the umbrella which was broken and will be replaced this week. There are light switches, which must be engaged to turn on the fans and lights in each room. I am unsure how this issue could be corrected. The rug in the TV room is only one year old so I am not sure how it wouldn’t have been cleaned in a long time. There is a couch in front of the second sliding door as it’s not meant to be used. The entrance would be on the other double door, which is free. Which I am not sure why you would need to use that door when there is another door right near it, especially if the air conditioning unit was engaged and there were wildfires throughout the country. I wouldn’t think the doors would be open. I know that I have put substantial time and effort into my rental property to make it warm and inviting uncomfortable for guests and this is deeply disappointing to read.

I was unaware that there was any issues. When I reached out to Michele on Saturday July 25 at 6pm I said I just wanted to make sure everything was ok and her response was : Hello. Everything is fine. Thank you It’s hard to fix a situation I was unaware of. Then when I reached out again this was the response after the fact. Hi. My family and I enjoyed your beach home, thank you. I’m not sure if you are aware but there was an issue with ants in the living room. My response was I was unaware and will address same

This renter was amazing. She was very commutative and courteous. She left things better than when she got there. Even my neighbors complemented her friendly demeanor. Would love to have you back !

I am appalled that someone could treat my property this way and then not even take responsibility for it. It makes me sad as I would never show such a lack of respect. They booked for 2 people but per my neighbor there were van full of people who arrived who were not authorized to be there. I purchased brand new rugs when I was down the last week of July. When I arrived the Friday after this guest left the rugs were completely missing. I’m not sure how dirty the rugs got 3 weeks old. When I arrived they had broken my blinds and then taped up plastic garbage bags to block the sun with painters tape from my closet I guess the blinds plus the curtains weren’t enough to keep the sun out for them. Clearly if it was “like that” when they arrived they would have called to complain which they did not. I did not hear from them until I reached out about the broken property. The ants would be from the deplorable way in which they left my property. The damage was confirmed by both my cleaning lady and my neighbor. I think it’s sad that not only did they not fix it or call me to tell me about it but actually became angry when I had to withhold a small amount of the security deposit to fix the damage they caused. I am extremely saddened for this unfortunate experience at the end of such a wonderful rental season for which I was booked solid. My advice going forward was for these renter to please treat my property as they would their own especially since everything on the first floor was completely remodeled last year.
