An adorable little cottage and a lovely neighborhood. Great location near an awesome main st with really awesome restaurants

Highly recommend!!

My sisters and I celebrated a milestone birthday of our mom’s with a long weekend at this cottage. The cottage was cozy, well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed. The gated community was quiet and lovely. The location in Wells was perfect – close to everywhere we wanted to go for day trips and excursions. We also found excellent food/restaurants right down the road. We had a wonderful time and my mom loved her celebration. Highly recommend Beach Dreams!

What an excellent experience and stay! The host's cottage was very welcoming and charming! The cottage is very well maintained, great amenities to offer, beach options and the host's communication was great throughout the process!

The house was in a great location. It was clean and had all the basics we needed. It was nice having the sun porch and the table on the patio. Also an easy walk to the pool. We have two kids under the age of 10 and there was plenty of space outside to run around. Also felt very safe there.

Wonderful and Clean! Everything was exactly as advertised. This is our third stay at a Beach Dreams property and we were very pleased with this particular home.

Cute Little Place!

This cottage is in a quite gated community. it was nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this cute little cottage again!

Perfect setup and location for small families.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house truly had everything we needed to ensure a smooth vacation. Location is great as it's very close to many beaches and just a short drive to neighboring towns. We'll definitely be back again next year!

Wells Vacation

The house was perfect for our family of four (2 teens) and gave us some room to spread out. The gated community was very nice, quiet and well kept. The house was very comfortable and we loved the beach and relaxation vibes. Convenient location to the beaches but also Wells, Ogunquit, York and Kennebunkport! Thank you!

Great rental experience

Home was quaint, well equipped and maintained. The location was very convenient to all of the beaches, shops, and restaurants we enjoy visiting when coming to Maine. The home is perfect for a small family and being in a gated community was very nice. Very quiet and well maintained properties within the community.

Just the right size

This house was just the right size for our small family. We used the solarium as a playroom and had a wonderful stroll on the grounds. Would love to go back again next year to the same house! Bed were super.confortable too!

Everything was great!

The cottage was exactly as described. The owner was very resposive when we had a question. The community was terrific...mid week in September is an awesome time to visit. Hope to make this an annual event.

Quaint cottage

This cottage was perfect for our trip! Shawn was great to communicate with. The home was stocked with everything we needed. It was clean, there were tons of towels, extra linens, beach gear… Everything was exactly as described. We loved it!!!

Peaceful retreat

I recently staying at the property with family and it was everything we could have hoped for. The cottage was lovely and clean and had EVERYTHING we needed. The owner thought of everything down to the finest detail. The property was lovely with the pool, hot tub and game room. We were a quick mile to the beach. I would absolutely recommend this rental.

There was everything we needed at the cottage. I didn’t realize that even beach gear was going to be there. We fit our family of 5 comfortably for 4 nights by using one of the pull-outs and managed the sheet washing situation at check-out by bringing our own. So easy. Very comfortable and clean and organized. Probably the best spot in the Beach Dreams community if you have a family as it’s very close to the pool and clubhouse but set back enough that it’s quiet. Easy parking on the pavement so less tracking in sand/dirt. I’d stay here again!

The Good: The cottage is really well located to explore the area and, within the community very close to the pool which was great! The house was clean and relatively well appointed and kept cool during the summer with the AC. Not Great: Although the host does post about this in the description (so I'm not really taking any "points" off for this) if you do use the linens, there is no way to wash/dry and have them folded before checkout so we actually ended up leaving the night before after our last load of laundry was done. Just something to keep in mind. The host says lots of properties do this, but I have stayed in many VRBO and Air B and B properties and NEVER had to do this. Maybe I've just been lucky... I wonder if it wouldn't improve the experience if there was an extra set of linens/towels so that guests don't have to go through this when leaving? Also, we stayed 5 days/4 nights and had 4 guests (2 of whom are kids) and on maybe the 3rd day we couldn't find any more toilet paper. We had gone through 2-3 rolls and this is tissue-paper-thin toilet paper for context. We messaged the host, thinking we must have missed the spot, but she said that we had gone through our "allotted" toilet paper for our stay. This is another thing that I have NEVER experienced. I understand not supplying lots of extra paper plates, olive oil, dish soap, etc. especially if you're staying a long time, but not having enough toilet paper for a 5 day trip is CRAZY.

Nice little cottage

We did have a small issue checking in (partly my fault) but the owner was quick to respond and sorted everything out. Make sure to E mail before arrival. The cottage is in a great area and the complex is lovely. We sat by the pool for an afternoon and we were the only ones there for a while. My only minor criticism would be the lack of storage in the 2nd bedroom- there is nowhere to hang clothes and one of the drawers was missing. Also we had to look through the drawers to find the bedding for the main bed as none of the beds were made. Not a big deal though and I would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again if we were in the area.

Central location

We liked the property. The pool was perfect and the cottage was lovely. We would suggest a fan in the three season room. It was uncomfortably hot in there so we bought a fan in order to be able to use it. We have stayed at many VRBO or AirB&B properties and have never had to wash the sheets and towels that we used. This really put a damper on the ending to our vacation. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We were asked to replace anything that we used up such as dish liquid, toilet paper etc. in order for the next guests to have these supplies. Again, this was unusual. The location is perfect as you are close to both Wells beach and Ogunquit. Check in was easy.

A good stay

Property is located on a quiet traffic circle in the large Beach Dreams complex; a real plus! Some of the other properties have dirt parking area; this one has paved parking on the circle, close to the front door. Some of the others are very close together; this one has some space between it and neighbors, so it does not feel too close to anyone.
