Ocean Front Family Beach House on West End Holden Beach 4BR/3BA

Don't settle for the second row! Enjoy your own private path to the beach and watch shrimp boats and porpoises from the deck of this classic four-bedroom, three-bath beachfront home on one of the widest beaches in North Carolina.

This house has unobstructed ocean views, a catwalk and a pathway to the big beach right out front. Sleeps 8. Decks, stairs and catwalk were all rebuilt in 2025. The interior has new floors and a comfortable open layout. Enjoy new comfy beds, 4k smart TVs, and hi-speed wifi. The kitchen is fully appointed, with up to date appliances and new cookware ready for lots of meal prep. The house Includes ramp access for carts and wheelchairs from the parking space to the main living area.

This is a gem of a location, with the main deck nestled between coastal pines giving a sense of greater privacy. Our rare south-facing beach allows for full sun from sunup to sundown. Watch the stars out over the ocean at night, and during the day fish right out front in the surf.

The house has four bedrooms:
King bed ocean side, TV and private full bathroom
Twin bed ocean side, with option to convert to king bed
Twin bed road-side with TV
Queen bed road-side with TV and private full-bathroom.

A shared full bathroom connects the twin rooms.

The kitchen comes with a wide range of cookware and cutlery, including new pots and pans and enough dinnerware for eight or more people. Includes stove/oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and drip coffee maker.

The main dining table has six formal spaces, but eight can fit in, especially with children. There are an additional four benches at the kitchen bar and kids often like to eat there.

We are new to VRBO as of 2025, but we have been managing family-owned short term rental properties for eight years. We are committed to providing a clean, safe, comfortable experience in an exceptional vacation home for our guests. Reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Such a great stay with breath taking views right on the beach. My family was very comfortable and enjoyed spending time on the beach daily and the convenience of the house being within steps to the ocean. The house was fully stocked with all amenities making it easy to feel at home. Would definitely stay again!

My family, 5 adults and a nine-year-old just finished a week at Mr. Mill's property. An excellent stay for all. The house is just as advertised. Clean, well laid out and every want for the kitchen is there. The beach out your front door is very family friendly and so inviting every day. Holden Beach cannot be fully represented by pictures alone. Beautiful, bike friendly, walk friendly and the cleanest beach town I have been. Your host, Mr. Mills is very clear with instructions for the house and easy to communicate with. Outstanding all a way around.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The house is comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for cooking, the deck is nice & large for rocking. The bathrooms are tiny but functional. The king size bed could use a mattress topper, we found it uncomfortably firm. There were no garbage bags in the kitchen cans or anywhere we could locate - this may have just been an oversight, I'm not sure. They provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen to get you started. There was soap in each bathroom & at the kitchen sink handsoap & dish soap & a sponge. Very convenient for the week. Everything was clean. It's a great water front location & not a far walk down to the beach. The communication was good with all the house instructions/ access info. We would stay there again.

Great family beach trip

We had a great week at the beach. It was awesome being right on the ocean so we could easily go from the house to the beach and back and forth. We made great memories and really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach. We loved the back porch And enjoyed watching the new moon. Great vacation. We even saw some deer a couple of times. Super vacation beach house.

Lovely beach house

We loved the new decking and spent every afternoon and evening sitting on the rockers looking out at the water. The house was small but thankfully we all like each other and get along! The kitchen had all we needed to cook most of our meals at home, and we were thankful to have the extra fridge in the laundry room. Our host was responsive and we appreciated the sweet gift he left for us upon our arrival. We would have loved to have bath mats and hand towels in all the bathrooms and some extra wash cloths. We had a lovely trip!

Quiet peaceful retreat just steps from the ocean

We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet relaxing stay! Family of six and it was just enough space for all of us and having 3 bathrooms was very nice. The best part is you are literally steps from beach and have your own private walkway. The ocean view from the kitchen while you are eating is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. The bugs were quite pesky but they thankfully had bug spray. The house is all on one level, which was great for my grandma. We cooked every night, and the kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook. Having a “nic-nac” closet with miscellaneous items you might need (hammer, first aid kit, etc) was helpful. We enjoyed having the washer and dryer to clean towels and such and the second refrigerator really came in handy. One thing to note, bring your own pillows. The beds were okay, but the view and convenience made it all worth it!

I grew up vacationing on Brunswick County beaches. For over twenty years, my family has rented our beach house to guests in the peak summer months. We love the south-facing beaches where we enjoy sun on the sand all day long.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

First of all, we are smack dab in the middle of the widest section of the beach on this barrier island. We have a private pathway to the beach and enjoy a level of privacy not often found on an oceanfront property.
